We were looking for an weekend activity and my kids recommended Topgolf. They had visited with their summer camp and loved it so we decided to check it out. We booked our reservation online and the process was pretty easy. Total cost was $136 for 5 people playing for 2 hours. It felt like it was a bit high, but bowling or a movie for 5 can be like $100 and it's not like there are other Topgolf knockoffs to choose from. Anyway, we arrived a bit early but they took us right in. There were a variety of different games you could play where you could get points even if you didn't get the best shot. So the kids were able to complete pretty well with us adults and even win a few rounds! They had a food and drinks available but we had eaten prior to arriving and didn't get anything. The offerings were chicken tenders, pizza, burgers and the like. Prices seemed reasonable. Overall we had a really good time and would likely go back at some point. Five stars from me. read more

I wish I could have given Topgolf a much better rating, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I made a reservation using a complimentary coupon that Topgolf had provided. Unfortunately, I selected the wrong date by mistake and contacted them to see if the reservation could simply be moved to the correct date. Instead of allowing a reasonable date change, I was informed that I would be charged for the reservation and would lose the benefit of the complimentary offer. I understand that policies are in place, but given that this was a promotional invitation from Topgolf and an honest scheduling mistake, I feel there should have been more flexibility and customer consideration. I hope Topgolf will reconsider how situations like this are handled, because the experience left me feeling that my business and loyalty as a customer were not valued. read more

Really fun activity to do with friends. Came here for my husband's birthday with five of our close friends who have never picked up a golf club in our lives. We had an absolute BLAST getting outside of our comfort zone and trying something new. There is something truly exhilarating about cracking the ball and seeing it fly onto the course.They have really fun games you can designate like Sonic or Angry Birds. The staff couldn't have been more lovely! Our initial bay had a faulty screen that they couldn't fix. They immediately moved us over to another bay and gave extended us 20 minutes for the inconvenience. We didn't order food, but we did order cocktails. They were just okay. I highly recommend making a reservation coming during the day versus night because the price point is drastically different by day and time. We came on a Saturday from 12-2 and paid $40 for up to six people. The screens show your ball speed and hang time, which is interesting to see. You also get points based on wherever your ball lands, even if it's outside the targets, which is a nice change for those of us (ahem, me) who aren't that great at it. I liked the variety of fun games, too! The only thing was that the servers could've been a bit more attentive. I went for a work event in one of the conference rooms and the also catered food. I was really impressed with the food selection it was set up buffet style and it was good. Salmon chicken and pasta. The servers came to get drink orders on the regular and everything moved on time. We also had tume to get in a few games and i like that they have games inside of games we played the sonic version and had fun collecting coins and playing all the characters. I had never thought of going to Topgolf before because I thought it was more of a place for true golfing fanatics to get practice swings in. But when my close friend decided to have a birthday gathering here and gave me a better description of the place, it actually sounded like fun. And indeed it is! On Sundays, they offer generous discounts. There's plenty of parking, and this location in Pompano is huge. Any sports fanatic would probably love this place even if they don't want to play golf. There are plenty of places to catch games on huge screens. There are various games that you can play while swinging the clubs at Topgolf. Some are more geared for beginners which I appreciate appreciated. As a person who has only ever played miniature golf, I did just fine during our 90 minutes swinging golf clubs. I especially enjoyed the Angry Birds golf game. While here, we enjoyed some drinks and appetizers. The food was pretty good and they have some great beers on tap. Our server was very friendly and personable. Overall, I would love to return to Topgolf. It's fun to come here later in the day because they light up the field at night. FUN FUN FUN... Bunch of friends have been here before and I finally took them up on an invite. I can barely get out of my own way so swinging a golf club was going to be interesting. A group of six of us were on the top level with an amazing view of the golf course arena. Each golf ball hit into the arena provide gps digital notification of accuracy and distance. Not sure how this is accomplished but it allows a glimpse into a modern golfing concept with great entertainment. Prices per bay for a maximum of six players is only $75.00 for two hours. My first experience has been great. I came with a ladies group. We took 2 bays with 6 people on each bay. We had to wait a bit to get an employee to help us. We all had to sign in, become a member- a $5 fee. Only for the 1st time. Once we understood what to do, we started to enjoy ourselves. We ordered some drinks & some food. I decided to come here for my birthday with a few friends and it was such a success! Originally we got two Groupons. We both made our reservations, however it didn't ask about choosing a bay so we figured that we'd get to pick our bay when we got there. This was not the case and since it was on Jan 1, the place was packed and had a two hour wait time. We spoke with the manager about it and decided that we would use one bay for one hour and another for another hour. Well, it worked out perfectly because one hour of play was definitely not enough time! We had so much fun that we ended up bringing our kiddos in the next few days. Nothing wrong on that end. If you are looking for a fun way to hang out with friends, Top Golf is a great place to visit. Rather than just sitting at a table eating and drinking, make it active, and competitive! A group of my friends and I came here on a Tuesday evening, where they offer a 50% off deal. It's recommended that you make reservations, but they also take walks in, the wait time may be extensive though. We were stationed on the 3rd floor, where the breeze was nice and a clear view of the entire course was visible. Each bay has a server coming around taking food and drinks orders, along with a set of clubs that are included in the cost to play. Note; they do allow customers to bring their own clubs. We opted for the 2 hours of play time at one bay for a group of 6, the total awas approximately $75, this does not include food or drinks. There is a food and drinks mean, very standard items, chicken fingers, burgers and wings and few other items. The selection of specialty drinks all looked refreshing and pretty! Unfortunately, I didn't get one, but I will next time. Their food is good, I ordered a blue moon, along with their buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, and I had the option to make it spicy; so of course, I said yes! The spicy part is in the "coleslaw like" topping on the sandwich, it was delicious, the chicken however, a bit on the bland side for me, the meal came with a side of steamy fresh french fries. Each level of top golf offers an inside bar, and sit-down eating area, which is nice if you want to get out of the heat for a bit. Also, outside they have games for kids; corn hole, and connect 4, in a nicely decorated outdoor patio area. One thing to keep in mind; during the summer days, it get extremely hot and humid, so dress accordingly. There are fans all around, but even with that, you'll be sweating! Absolutely terrible experience at Topgolf Pompano Beach. My sister and I bought Groupons for 1 hour of gameplay each, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated like a problem instead of paying customers. The redemption process is confusing to begin with (you're asked to pay a deposit even after purchasing), and when we tried to follow the instructions we were given by their own customer service system, we were met with nothing but attitude. The front desk manager was rude, condescending, and outright dismissive, telling us we "did it wrong" and even saying, "that's your first problem you used AI," as if we had any other option. Completely unprofessional. Upstairs was no better. The manager there was clearly annoyed the second we mentioned Groupon and repeatedly acted like he was doing us a favor by letting us play. We had already PAID. We weren't asking for anything free we were simply trying to explain the situation, and he refused to listen and all he kept saying "I am listening to you" and he absolutely was not. At one point, we felt so uncomfortable we almost left altogether. That's how bad it was. The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is because of Corrina, the assistant manager, who was the only person who treated us with respect and actually took the time to help. We spent money on food and drinks and came to enjoy ourselves, but instead were treated poorly for using a valid promotion. We had a company function at this Top Golf and it was amazing all around. The food was delicious with some chicken, short ribs, Mac n cheese and desserts. The servers were extremely sweet and attentive and the golf pros definitely helped with our swings. They have a variety of games that you can play to make your practice swings a little more fun and I would definitely recommend for a group or friends/family event. The only hinderance for me was the parking. If the Top Golf lot fills up, as it did for our event, then you have to park in the casino lot and walk.....a lot. There's no short cut, you have to hoof it for a good 1/2 mile. So, if you do have an event with lots of people, get there early. Outside of that, a great time was had by all and this facility is well kept, offers a variety of clubs for those left or right handed and we just had an amazing time. Time spent at top golf gets you enjoying the outdoors, getting sun or even staying out of the rain to play. You have tvs on every floor and evey station, you have access to watch on what's provided. Full table service as well. Staff seems happy to work there, just needs good communication on when sending players to stations that previous players are out of the area and the section is clean.
