What I've wanted to say about Tripping Animals is long overdue. As breweries keep sliding downhill and alcohol's cultural grip weakens, Tripping Animals keeps thriving. Not just because it makes great beer, though it does, but because it sells something harder to can: camaraderie. It gives people a place to become better friends, tighter families, and, occasionally, obnoxious but well-meaning uncles. This was the first place I visited after my COVID-era house arrest ended. That day it became a space that I, like many others, claimed as my own. Innovation has always driven Tripping Animals, and the brains behind the brand have never sat still. Plenty of breweries typecast themselves with one style and spend years chasing beer nerds, their friends, and whatever relatives they can drag along. Tripping Animals takes the better route. It welcomes everybody from kids to casual drinkers, and people from every political corner who can agree, at least briefly, that a cold beer beats trolling on Truth Social. The food program has taken a few laps around the culinary racetrack. Over the years, the brewery has hosted a mishmash of pop-ups, including Tex-Mex tacos, Texas BBQ, ramen, and raw bar concepts. These days, Trippy Kitchen leans closer to home with dishes like a Latinized Charc Board and a Parrilla Platter loaded with two cuts of steak, sausages, chicharrones, salad, and arepitas. The kitchen runs tight, so vegetarians can still navigate the menu without calling it early, while vegans are safe with a Pittsburgh Salad of veggies and fries. Trippie events push past the tired brewery playbook of long bottle-release lines and overworked food trucks sweating it out in a parking lot. Skip the Line turns hard-to-reach, viral restaurants into one-stop shops for unlimited bites. Irie Jungle does what many beer festivals only pretend to do: build communities by bringing home-brewers, collaborators ,and competitors together over their shared love of beer. Beyond that, Tripping Animals keeps stacking the calendar with art shows, comedy nights, maker's markets, run clubs, wrestling events, and more live music. Starbucks lost its soul when it stopped feeling like a third place between work and home. Tripping Animals never made that mistake. It remains a clubhouse, a melting pot, and the rare kind of institution where the pours matter, but people matter more. read more

If you're in the mood for a mid week beer, fries, and catching up with friends playing games this is a great spot. Overall the vibe is good, they have a few pool tables to pick from as well. My main issues came from service and food. Bartender with long dark curly hair clearly did not want to be there or let me order all the things I was interested in getting. After ordering just the sandwich at the bar she attempts to ring me up, I say can I finish ordering? I ask for a soda, she tries ringing me up again. At that point I just give up. I was about to order an appetizer and a dessert for the table. Turns the screen and suggests a 22+% tip when it's fast food style order and grab at the counter. I thought the contents of the churrasco sandwich were delicious, but too bad it was in between 2 of the hardest pieces of bread I've ever had. You could chip a tooth on that sandwich. If you're in the area it's not bad at all for a little hang out spot, but I'd just not go out of my way to eat here or expect great service. read more

I have been here on multiple occasions and every single time I have never been disappointed! Most recently came for their Cinco De Mayo event that they had and tried their special menu, and I got the Rib Loaded Nachos and the Churros, everything was great and the loaded nachos were piled mile high and LOADED with toppings they were not shy at all! The churros came with a Chocolate dipping sauce and a Dulce De Leche dipping sauce and both were really good but I prefer the Dulce De Leche one over the chocolate! Service was great the bartenders pour your drink as soon as you order it and give you a buzzer for your food when it's ready for pickup at the window. Ambiance of this place is a very chill hipster brewery vibe, they play great music and show whatever game or event is happening on the TV. I love sours and IPAs, so naturally, I love this brewery! I get a flight (four beers of your choice) every time and am always stoked about it. They have a great variety on tap. Service is always good, and the atmosphere is hipster and chill. There's always parking available in their free parking lot. Most seating areas have high tops. Tripping Animals is a phenomenal brewery. I have had their beers many times before and was very excited to finally visit the brewery. The beer selection was extensive from light lagers, to bitter IPAs, to sweet flavorful sours. All the beers my wife and I tried were exceptional and we bought at least a couple dozen cans to go. There is plenty of seating if you want to be at the bar or at a table and there are a few televisions to catch the game (we watched a World Cup match on our visit). Food wise there are many delicious options. I tried the Pork Belly Chicharron. Thick diced juicy and tender pork had a layer of creamy fattiness and crisp pork skin. This mixture of rich pork flavors and textures was topped with tangy pickled onions and paired nicely with the beers. If you are a beer lover, Tripping Animals is a must visit. read more

We stopped by here to kill some time before we cut our flight. We are very happy to have this represent Miami for our first time being their dispense some actual time and not be tired from the flight. When we showed up the place was packed and it was only been open for 35 minutes. There was a book crawl going on, which had many small vendors inside the brewery and there's books everywhere. Seating was a little bit difficult, but totally understandable because of the event. Martin was our bartender and was very knowledgeable and let us try some beers while we also ordered a flight and ordered food as well which he recommended. They have a lot of merchandise here at the bathrooms are very clean. Food came out on a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place to any person who is going to stop in Miami for a short brief time and wanna try the best of what Miami has for beer. It makes me wanna live in Miami because if I did, this would be one of my spots I would go to on a constant basis. I wanted to write another review after my second visit today where I took my husband. We had a short time we were able to be out. We sat at the bar and each had a beer. I had a sour again (this time the Grape Ape, I think it was called) and it was so good. Tasted almost like a grape soda. My husband had the Dark Lager Mame which had a subtle chocolatey note and was also really good (even though I don't usually care for dark beers). We got the cachapotas again, and we also ordered Queso Fundido con Chorizo. So good, all of it! The bartenders were all friendly and attentive, and it was such a chill but fun place to be. We went here for happy hour that started at 4:00 pm. As the day got late this place became crowded, but it never felt crowded. It is a clean and open atmosphere with relaxing music that is not loud and it is easy to have conversations. The air temperature is very comfortable and the atmosphere has a traditional brewery look. They have a pool table and an outdoor beer garden and they are pet friendly and kids are welcome until 8:00pm. Parking is free and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. Great choices of IPAs, sours and stouts and their food is amazing. They offer taste of beers before you decide on your order and they also have flights so you can try their beers. Stopped in, finally, on a rainy afternoon while the kiddo was at a birthday party for a bite to eat and to try the beer. The staff was very friendly and the beers were tasty. I had the No Mames lager. It was super flavorful, smooth and was an easy day drinking beer. We had the tequenos. They were crescent rolls w cheese and a sweet dipping sauce. My kid would have loved them. I loved them too. We split the mortadella mirage sandwich. The bread was fresh, the basil pesto and balsamic was a nice complement and didn't over power (not always the case when pesto and balsamic enter the scene). I would order this again but it also made me want to try more. Like a lot of breweries, they have seating inside and out and table games available. A few years ago go I went to Tripping Animals and did not have a good experience. That was during COVID times so I decided to give it another try in 2025. We walked in on a Sunday early afternoon and waited in line, while in line, noticed they have a very small beer selection compared to other places. Two of the beers said sold out! There are not that many beers on selection. Also, no Belgian options. can't understand why they don't have refills for the ones "sold out" Also a strange smell was coming from the kitchen. Tripping Animals is one of my favorite breweries, and I knew I had to hit it up while in Miami! My partner and I enjoyed a couple of flights and an order of chicharron. Would say the favorite beer we tried (though all were great!) was the orange soda sour.. so good! The chicharron had great texture, a little too much citrus squeezed on it for my preferences though. Staff were warm but not particularly friendly, however, they were patient with helping me find a beer that I could enjoy. The inside is quite spacious and there are plenty of tables. I went primarily to check out the Creative Mondays partnership they have with Find the Click. I was expecting to have more of a guided art session, but really they just had a table off to the side with art materials. This time I brought a long sleeve shirt because I'm old and it's at night and it gets a little chilly. As I'm leaving, I'm assuming it's the manager, comes outside and starts yelling at me that I'm a thief and accuses me of stealing merchandise because I have my long sleeve shirt tied around my waist. He's swearing at me and telling me that I need to come back. When I show him my shirt and realizes that it's not his stupid merchandise. He gives me the middle finger and goes back inside. I knew while staying in Miramar that my husband had to make it to Tripping Animals- Highly rated brewery. We hit it up as soon as they opened on a Monday afternoon. It was pretty quiet. It's very spacious, in an industrial area. Rustic modern decor. Lot's of eclectic couches. They have a solid collection of merch and beer to go. The guy behind the counter was super kind to let me take a beer can sticker home for my art collection. (Thanks!) The outdoor area was where we had our fun. My kids played with a football they found outside and the outdoor connect four. We had the place to ourselves so it was perfect for my husband to enjoy his flight and for the kids to run around. Sorry - I didn't have their beer or eat. My husband did alert me their beer is good. This is a review purely based on the atmosphere. read more

I recently made my way back to Tripping in Doral during Wrestling night and it was loud and pure mayhem, but in a good way. At Oakland Park i was able to eat and was blown away with their new kitchen. Estefania, the Chef, is killing it! cool lil brewery spot in doral with pretty good food, but it's kiiinda pricey based on portions. a friend paid for my meal with his company's per diem so i didn't pay but i was still looking at the prices like dang bro! the actual place is kinda small even with the outdoor seating included. my party was a lil large so they legit put us in the warehouse at a huge table lol. they also closed pretty early for a miami bar but it's in a funky location so i kinda understand. parking was not great but i got lucky and got a spot of someone leaving. i didn't try any of the beer bc i was a DD, but my friends said they enjoyed their flights. the charcuterie and the ceviche were pretty all right (not enough yuca to go with it). one thing i found weird was that they brought my ceviche out in a plastic bowl on a tray? like, just bring the bowl by itself or... actually, i kinda wasn't a fan of them using a single-use container in general for dine-in. additionally, my two friends that are a couple split the wings but one half didn't like the wings so much that she got wendy's nuggets after overall, i'd go again when i'm not the DD to try some of the drinks. but i probably won't order food from here again. read more
