I didn't have food here, but we did get a Michelada beer and that was very nice. The service is very good. It is quick and the atmosphere is wonderful. There's a nice outdoor seating you can hang out at It's nearby wynwood, the beer was really good I ordered a blonde one and my boyfriend and spicy michelada, which I tried and was delicious! I truly recommend this place, also sometimes they have live music. The day we went there was a DJ making the ambiance a total vibe

So the truth is, I used to come to this place when it was the prior establishment, Veza Sur. And I used to enjoy it very much as it had a great vibe and good beer. This is my first time going back after the rebranding. So if you're like me and are remembering Veza, you can still find some of the classic beers that were on the original menu with some new upgrades. I went with a classic, La Rubia, a new addition but not new to Wynwood...and as always it did not disappoint. I also tried La Rubia Picante, which did deliver a bit of a punch in the mouth, so if you like spice this could be a good one to try. The atmosphere that night was kind of slow, which I actually welcomed because we were able to get a quick seat at the bar. There was plenty of outdoor seating as well as, and seating indoors on an early Saturday night. Our bartender was sweet and he was quick to serve us and explain the new additions to the menu.

Drinks (4/5): I had a beer flight and a cocktail shooter. The choices for my beer flight were pretty good with the standout being the Father Francisco, their Belgian Golden Ale. The other standout was the Cafe con Flan, one of their cocktail shooters. Service (4/5): The bartenders were attentive and pretty laid back. I got there right when they opened up so not much was going on. Location (4/5): The location itself was half indoors and outdoors. The outside definitely had the tropical palm trees theme going with the inside having more of a chill library bar feel to it which I liked.

As we entered the front patio we notice hundreds of beer kegs stacked and a stationary pink 'Mad Burger' food truck in addition to many tables. The inside bar was a good size and displayed all of their home brewed craft beers on the wall with the beer name, abv percentage and a really good artistic design. We ordered the beer flight so we could try four different cold craft beers. The Hazy Coast IPA 7.5% and the Father Francisco 9.3% were my favorites.

I came for the burger pop-up but left with way more than I expected. Tried a beer flight featuring four of their house brews--I'm a sucker for local beers, and the staff nailed the recommendations. They had a DJ spinning reggaeton up front and a live band jamming in the back corner. Casa La Rubia is a whole vibe.

So good! Now you can take it home for breakfast!

Now rebranded as La Rubia, I found this gem on Yelp and immediately loved everything about it. Has a lot of charm inside the bar. You can see the brewery tanks and the refrigerator for beer to go. They also have growlers and so many beers on tap. I decided to try the beer flight and was so overwhelmed by their cafe con flan. Basically a nitro Porter with flan foam on top. The minute I took a sip, I was blown away and thought how is this dessert and this Taster glass. They have Monday through Friday happy hour, and if I lived here, I would be here all the time. The bartender is friendly, not pushy and if you haven't tried this café con flan; they make this fly foam in house and this drink will knock your socks off! Omg it is perfectly rich foamy sweet with some caramelly notes I want to jump into a river of it. These folks are craft cocktail pioneers! Someone tell me I'm wrong! Please!

Casa La Rubia, formerly known as Veza Sur, recently rebranded. It's still the same great spot but with more options. Rather than only the original La Rubia, there are now variations like a spicy La Rubia! They also have an array of cocktails, some of which are beer based and some not. I had a michelada that was great. If you're hungry, Mad Burger is on site making great food.

Go see Moses at the bar if you want to try a couple different beers before you decide on want you want. I decided to go a little outside of my norm and try the Sofrito Michelada. Moses tells me they make their tomato juice in house and it was terrific. The ambience is great. There's outside and inside seating and they always have a food truck available in case you get hungry.

Casa La Rubia was the perfect place for our group to kick back and relax while waiting for our Airbnb check-in. We arrived as a group of six, unannounced and toting luggage, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They let us settle in comfortably, and we enjoyed some great beer flights while we waited. We got there right around opening on a Thursday, and the place quickly started to fill with a nice buzz of other patrons, but definitely not too many. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive the whole time. Every beer we tried was on point--clearly crafted with care. It was a 10/10 experience, and I'd happily come back next time I'm in town. Can't recommend Casa La Rubia enough!

Not the best laid plans to have only one employee manning the entire host, cook, serve business on one of the pre-holiday evenings where everyone is out & about! An order of JUST fried mushrooms took 45 minutes. While the mushrooms were delicious we decided not to order anything else since we needed to call it a night early. I did get a text my order was ready but another party we were with did not get her text. It seems as if the Uber orders take precedence over the window orders.

After going to another brewery close by that did not have other things than lagers, we searched for this place. We had 2 Father Francisco and loved it. I wish that the food was available but we had to go eat somewhere else. Ample space indoors and outdoors. Nice ambiance and we loved the manager.

Biscayne Bay Brewing nails the balance between laid-back charm and elevated flavors. I started with a margarita that was surprisingly delightful--bright, balanced, and not overly sweet. It set the tone perfectly. I also sampled one of their signature beers, and it was everything you'd want from a local brew: crisp, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. For bites, we shared the fish dip and hummus--both winners. The fish dip had that smoky, briny depth that pairs beautifully with a cold drink, and the hummus was smooth, fresh, and generously portioned. The location itself is a vibe: welcoming, stylish, and perfect for catching up with friends or winding down after a long day. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Biscayne Bay Brewing is worth the stop.

After an entire Saturday of dense course material, I didn't have it in me to explore the night life Miami has to offer. I found this place & it was the perfect vibe - super laid back. Music selection was decent when it was on a playlist (I think). There was a guy intermittently playing live music - he wasn't great & was way too loud, but I just put on my airpods and turned on the noise cancellation feature, which toned it down enough for me to enjoy the rest of the environment. Alex was the one who took care of me & picked out a flight of sours, that were all delicious. The dole pineapple one was probably my favorite in the flight; strawberry smoothie tasted great but the texture kinda threw me off (it was thick... like a smoothie lol). She recommended the chorizo and hot honey pizza - also great, especially when it was hot out of the oven. I probably shouldn't have tried to eat the entire thing on my own, but I did anyway. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they had Happy Hour until 10pm on a Sunday! James offered us several beers to try. Once we decided, he asked for a card to open a tab. When he saw my card, he pronounced my name correctly and introduced himself. We now know him as James the "Master Jedi" behind the bar. His knowledge, personality, and people skills are off the charts. We ordered the Padron Premium Lager, which was excellent. As an appetizer we had the fully loaded Nachos, which were very good. We also got the wings, which were delicious and came with three excellent dipping sauces: buffalo, Parmesan garlic, and sweet peppers. The place has a great vibe: 5 TVs, 2 pool tables, a basketball hoop, and plenty of board games under the register (Jenga, Buzzed, Forbidden Words, etc.). The bar also has electrical outlets and purse hooks. The restroom was quite clean, although the main hand dryer wasn't working. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager Stephanie, who was very friendly. Daniela, a waitress, was fantastic too she helped efficiently behind the bar even though she wasn't the bartender. James mentioned that they clean the draft beer lines weekly, which keeps the beers tasting fresh and clean. We had a blast and didn't even plan it. No doubt about it we will definitely be back!

Not just because it makes great beer, though it does, but because it sells something harder to can: camaraderie. It gives people a place to become better friends, tighter families, and, occasionally, obnoxious but well-meaning uncles. This was the first place I visited after my COVID-era house arrest ended. That day it became a space that I, like many others, claimed as my own. Innovation has always driven Tripping Animals, and the brains behind the brand have never sat still. Plenty of breweries typecast themselves with one style and spend years chasing beer nerds, their friends, and whatever relatives they can drag along. Tripping Animals takes the better route. It welcomes everybody from kids to casual drinkers, and people from every political corner who can agree, at least briefly, that a cold beer beats trolling on Truth Social. The food program has taken a few laps around the culinary racetrack. Over the years, the brewery has hosted a mishmash of pop-ups, including Tex-Mex tacos, Texas BBQ, ramen, and raw bar concepts. These days, Trippy Kitchen leans closer to home with dishes like a Latinized Charc Board and a Parrilla Platter loaded with two cuts of steak, sausages, chicharrones, salad, and arepitas. The kitchen runs tight, so vegetarians can still navigate the menu without calling it early, while vegans are safe with a Pittsburgh Salad of veggies and fries. Trippie events push past the tired brewery playbook of long bottle-release lines and overworked food trucks sweating it out in a parking lot. Skip the Line turns hard-to-reach, viral restaurants into one-stop shops for unlimited bites. Irie Jungle does what many beer festivals only pretend to do: build communities by bringing home-brewers, collaborators ,and competitors together over their shared love of beer. Beyond that, Tripping Animals keeps stacking the calendar with art shows, comedy nights, maker's markets, run clubs, wrestling events, and more live music. Starbucks lost its soul when it stopped feeling like a third place between work and home. Tripping Animals never made that mistake. It remains a clubhouse, a melting pot, and the rare kind of institution where the pours matter, but people matter more.
