Had a really good experience this visit. Went around 7:30 and didn't even know it was happy hour but that was great, big discounts. Tried the tight end which was really delicious and will be getting again. Also tried the Doug's white which was good. They have lots of beers - the two we wanted to try were not available so they recommended others which were tasty. Will be back. Thank you!

The place is small and a good time. We sat at the bar ordered what they considered a favorite has got honey and a lil bit of spice I could have ate it myself soooo good! Had an Irish ale nice and smooth. Nice lil spot to chill and have drinks at def going back.

Okay so I guess I'm the last person to finally visit this spot. I loved it! The vibe is laid back and the li e music was great. Guy on the guitar had some serious skills. We came on a Friday and enjoyed a delightful mushroom.pizza and the truffle airlines potatoes. We had several.glasses of chardonnay and watched how quickly the place got packed. ove the decor as it's a mix of then, now and some cool memorabilia. Staff was real nice and attentive. Only thing I would say is get there early cause parking can be a mission at times, but it's all good and worth it!

The good here never disappoints and they have a great selection of beers - I like the morning glory (blonde ale) and the rizz (Pilsner). My go to pie here is Gen Hogzilla and incredible meat lovers pizza 1 don't forget the hot honey!! Ambiance is always chill here - sometimes can be lively depending on the crowd and whether or not they have a DJ playing when you visit. Service consist of walking up to the counter and placing your order with the bartender. Nothing. Fancy, but it works All in all a great local spot and place to come get good personal pizzas.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside looks like any other place, but inside is some delicious beer and pizza![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried 6/10 of the beers and all were great. And the pizza is so fresh, and I like that they have unique combos for toppings, without being weird or over the top. Definitely recommend!

Had a great experience! Dog friendly and very fun atmosphere. Happened to go during BOGO and Bingo, so it was packed. Looked like fun! Will try to come back for it. The pizza was DELICIOUS. So soft, I want to go back and try all the different ones.

Great experience at Strange Beast in Kendall! As soon as we opened the door and walked in, Rob greeted us and gave us the rundown on the meatball and beer specials. He was super welcoming! He recommended the Robaoke pizza and it was SO good! Vaca frita with red onions and chimichurri! Where else can you get that on a pizza in Kendall?? We also tried 3 other types of pizza and while they all were flavorful, the Robaoke was my favorite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place has such a cool, chill vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Rob mentioned their epic Thursday night karaoke, and they have other weekly events that I checked out on their IG page. So glad I heard about this spot!

    Margherita pizza!!!! THE BEST
    Daniela A.

I LOVE STRANGE BEAST!!! I discovered this place right before the pandemic so it was my go to during that time. The service is always amazing and while the staff changes from time to time they never disappoint. I love the cauliflower bites even though they changed the recipe. The margherita pizza is delicious as well as the lomo saltado pizza. They have various events during the week, my favorites being bingo night and karaoke night. They're open late which is awesome. This is a great spot for date night, casual outing with friends, or a solo date. My favorite day to go is Saturday for lunch because they're not as busy

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Strange Beast is my happy place everytime I go there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pizza makes me happy, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the people make me happy, be it the Strange Beast TEAM or customers, because you never know who you might strike up a conversation with !![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe you will meet again, maybe you won't. I think it's the beer, it's definitely the beer that makes me happy, good endorphins. Good clean fun. GO PATRICK SWAYZE !! lol. Maybe it's the hot honey!! . Keep it going !!

    Willy Dropped The Sauce!
    Isabelle T.

Still one of the best pizzas I've had in Miami! The Willy dropped the sauce and the chopped Pepperoni pizza is my go to. I always add a ton of veggies to the pizza and some chili flakes to give it a kick. The service is really good. Everyone is so nice and playful. It's also a bar. There's rock music always playing and everyone seems to be enjoying their pizza and beer. Wednesdays are trivia nights. Some nights are bingo nights, some nights have live music, etc. Every night at Strange Beast is enjoyable, whether you're participating in the games, having some pizza or you're just there for the drinks. If you're in the area, or even if you aren't! I definitely recommend Strange Beast

The staff was super friendly and helped us navigate the menu, giving us recommendations. I ended up getting the La Toxica which appealed to me because it had melon soda. This one was a bit more on the sweet side and I enjoyed my partner's drink more- Agua de Violeta. This one was a fav of the night! Right next door, aka connected via an open door, was their dive bar- Yokocho. We headed into this spot after hanging a bit so we could hang out in there (a bit more spacious) and even play some pool. We got to meet one of the owners, Haidar, and he was super nice. We got some beer and hung out here for the rest of the night. We did get a little hungry so decided to get Cup of Noodle ramen (which was $1) and they had a cooler with hot water we used to make it. Such a cool spot and definitely recommend!

The branding talks like barrel-aged farmhouse philosophy, but the tap list walks in with beach-ready chancletas. If the name matched the products, Unseen Creatures Hard Seltzery might fit better, since buzzy bubble water seems to be the most common style on offer. Beyond the seltzers, the board leans on a rotating lineup of lagers, IPAs, and amber drafts, with a heavy presence from Prison Pals, a local contract-brewery. Half the to-go cans also come from Prison Pals, and the staff, management, and menu carry a strong Argentinian identity. At this point, Unseen Creatures feels less like a wild-ale temple and more like the spiritual revival of the old Prison Pals operation in Doral. My first visit started with an Uber Eats BOGO order, but only half the meal was ready. Rather than hover like rabid raccoons, we grabbed beers and waited. Then the moral crisis arrived: let the perfectly smashed burgers cool, or eat them while at their best. Five minutes passed, and we chose the latter. That decision sent the manager into referee mode. Had he carried a whistle, he would have blown it. Had he kept cards in his pocket, he'd have flashed us a pair of reds. Apparently, the smashburger BOGO applied outside but not inside. Fair enough, but if the fries had come out on time, we never would have spent money at the bar in the first place... That said, the Bodeo Burger slapped: two smash patties, a sunny-side-up egg, and a brioche-style bun. In a city currently under siege by smashburgers, this one still earned a clean 10 out of 10. When I asked for the check, the screen showed extra tip options of +3%, +5%, or +7%. I looked at it like I had just caught a magician palming my watch. Apparently, some banter and snug-fitting yoga pants had earned her a healthy self-applied tip. Usually, I go back one screen and adjust the number based on the severity of the sneak attack, but I let it ride. We all have dreams, bills, and maybe health-wellness coaching certifications to fund. Unseen Creatures pours solid beers and boasts a killer kitchen, but the brewery still needs to decide whether it wants to be a wild-ale house, Prison Pals reboot, or a haven for hard-seltzerists.

What I've wanted to say about Tripping Animals is long overdue. As breweries keep sliding downhill…read moreand alcohol's cultural grip weakens, Tripping Animals keeps thriving. Not just because it makes great beer, though it does, but because it sells something harder to can: camaraderie. It gives people a place to become better friends, tighter families, and, occasionally, obnoxious but well-meaning uncles. This was the first place I visited after my COVID-era house arrest ended. That day it became a space that I, like many others, claimed as my own. Innovation has always driven Tripping Animals, and the brains behind the brand have never sat still. Plenty of breweries typecast themselves with one style and spend years chasing beer nerds, their friends, and whatever relatives they can drag along. Tripping Animals takes the better route. It welcomes everybody from kids to casual drinkers, and people from every political corner who can agree, at least briefly, that a cold beer beats trolling on Truth Social. The food program has taken a few laps around the culinary racetrack. Over the years, the brewery has hosted a mishmash of pop-ups, including Tex-Mex tacos, Texas BBQ, ramen, and raw bar concepts. These days, Trippy Kitchen leans closer to home with dishes like a Latinized Charc Board and a Parrilla Platter loaded with two cuts of steak, sausages, chicharrones, salad, and arepitas. The kitchen runs tight, so vegetarians can still navigate the menu without calling it early, while vegans are safe with a Pittsburgh Salad of veggies and fries. Trippie events push past the tired brewery playbook of long bottle-release lines and overworked food trucks sweating it out in a parking lot. Skip the Line turns hard-to-reach, viral restaurants into one-stop shops for unlimited bites. Irie Jungle does what many beer festivals only pretend to do: build communities by bringing home-brewers, collaborators ,and competitors together over their shared love of beer. Beyond that, Tripping Animals keeps stacking the calendar with art shows, comedy nights, maker's markets, run clubs, wrestling events, and more live music. Starbucks lost its soul when it stopped feeling like a third place between work and home. Tripping Animals never made that mistake. It remains a clubhouse, a melting pot, and the rare kind of institution where the pours matter, but people matter more.

I thought the contents of the churrasco sandwich were delicious, but too bad it was in between 2 of the hardest pieces of bread I've ever had. You could chip a tooth on that sandwich.
