I rate them with four stars because if you get seated in the back room, it is a bit tight and can get loud fast. When I eat I just like a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Although I didn't find the size generously sized, a slice of pizza is perfect for lunch while on the run. At just under five dollars, the margarita slice is made with fresh mozzarella and the sauce, flavorful but a bit salty for my taste. Service is efficient but the blaring reggaeton is a bit loud and misplaced. Ordering at the counter is easy. Slices are quickly reheated and you have a choice of sitting at the outdoor tables or, if you need to get away from the heat, there are a handful of bar stools and a counter inside. In summary, you won't be wowed but you won't be disappointed either. It's an easy place to pick up a slice and quickly re-energize for continued shopping. Service was pleasant and there is a convenient pick up window that eliminates the need to even go inside. If the weather is good and you're up to it; outside seating is available and probably more comfortable. As far as pizza....the slices are huge! Epic proportions! and I appreciate the fact they are not stingy with their toppings. Plenty of ham, pineapple and cheese on my hawaiian. We were there on my last visit with several family members so we were actually quite a big party. The service was brilliant and all the food came out hot and delicious. It is not easy to manage big groups but we had a spectacular lunch and the waiter was really attentive. The Good, the Bad & Ugly! This location was my favorite pizza place for approximately 15+ years. In the mid 2000's when Town & Country mall was somewhat run down, and before 24hr Fitness came to this shopping center after the movie theaters closed ; Two Brother was the place to go for good pizza and pasta. Since the renovations for the shopping center property began around 4-6 years ago this Pizzeria started moving from a family oriented small window counter pizza parlor, to a more trendy outside walkway sitting. The Good: They still make descent pizza. Not what it used to be, but acceptable. This is normal when businesses grow, is impossible to maintain a small shop quality with high volume. The facade of the old window counter has been changed to either order and eat standing up or sit in the shopping hallway walkway where they have added tables. The customer service is friendly and a very small air conditioned sitting area remains inside the store. I still like to go by, once in a while. The Bad: The small shop (used to be a New York Style ambiance) is long gone! Is now more of a trendy Miami style pizza shop; Seems like there is new management or something has changed... I have always felt a LOT of respect for the original owner (Italian native) was kind of an moody and sometimes unpleasant type of personality, but then again he was there 7 days a week and took good care of his pizzeria! Yes... there was a time that I stopped by for great pizza every other day, long ago! The Ugly: Today 8/6/2017, I stopped after about a year! The pizza is still GOOD, not great as it used to be! Also, much smaller slice and a Pepsi: $6.00 Just Maybe... if at least they would serve the New York slice size... but Today! I found NO VALUE. Honestly, I was kind of disappointed. Nothing lasts forever! I am now a vegan, so to break ranks for a good New York Style pizza treat is a big deal, and a must have once in a while!!! This pizza place is located in the town and country mall in Kendall right off of the Turnpike. It seemed like a cool spot and the counter top / bar was deifnitly unique and an eye catcher. /Start Rant Although the locale was great (1 star for venue), the pizza was not. Also, the price was ridiculously expensive. Here is a quick summary of my meal: Two slices of cheese and two sodas = $10.95. Doing basic math here, am I really paying 2.50 per slice and 2.50 per soda???? Not to mention that the slices were just OK and nothing to die for and definitely nothing near a Casolas sized slice so I would say average at best. (Sorry to reference another pizza joint in my review but I had to put some perspective in here). 1 star for venue, and 1 star for service, no stars on the pizza and no stars for the price. If I do ever make it back to Two Brothers, I will definitely try something else off of the menu since I see many other great reviews for other things that are not pizza such as the subs and deserts.
