Best pizza in Miami! I've tried so many (and all the portnoy spots too), and this has been my favorite. Ordered delivery and it was still with a crispy bottom. I noticed Local Pie as I was passing by the area one day, and thought "Oh man, that looks like they might have good pizza". I told myself I needed to try it. The day came where I was looking for dinner and remembered Local Pie. Perfect opportunity. I ordered their meat lovers, Dave Arbetter pie. Talk about disappointment. I got home and the pizza was on the thin crust side. The pizza appeared dry and not fresh and very little red sauce. Finally an amazing pizza in west Kendall! I ordered delivery due to the weather but had been hearing about this place and had to try it. Delivery was quick and they were very accommodating with dietary restrictions. We had the Sabal and subbed chicken for the pepperoni. It was so good! Roasted chicken, mushrooms and garlic...YUM! The crust was just how I like it... not too doughy and perfectly crispy. My only complaint is the price. I'm happy to splurge on quality ingredients but it was almost $40 for a large pie only. Absolutely delicious pizza. Nice crispy crust. No flop jolop like the Italians say. Had a few pepperoni slices to go after taking my frenchie to the vet for a follow up. Friendly and helpful staff. Didn't go inside because I had my dog and they don't allow dogs unless they are service dogs but that's ok. They had tables outside and they were clean. We ordered a plain cheese, extra sauce, and thankfully they didn't follow the order, they barely put any sauce because and the parts that had it tasted like pure red pepper flake. There was no one there at the time we went to service and food came were quick. The Cesar salad was good, 3 of us shared it. When I picked up the pizza the aromas that were filling the car were making me so hungry I almost caved and ate a slice on the drive home! I also ordered the garlic knots!
