I've ordered from Postmates twice now and I think this is a pretty decent option in the FIU area. What actually impresses me most is the chicken parmigiana. Both times I really enjoyed it and even the obligatory pasta and red sauce that comes with it is better than the usual crap you get as a side from other places. The free garlic knots that come with the order are alright, nothing special. The pizza is super greasy and salty but gets the job done. I have also tried the calzone and found it to be just okay... the bottom was a bit soggy so that kind of turned me off of the whole thing, but the portion size was humongous. I've been ordering from pronto, since I've been in rolled at FIU. They're always quick to deliver and make their pizza with love. Their delivery service meets you pretty much anywhere at FIU. This is very nice and convenient so I can continue studying and not go terribly out of my way to get some food. My favorite pizza is the Bianka with extra chicken. Sometimes when I'm low on money, I order the extra large cheese pizza and it comes out to $9.62. Their service is amazing. I am always greeted nicely and the staff is very friendly and funny. At least once a week we order delivery from this neighborhood place . Their Cheese Lover's pizza is fantastic and their "chicken wings" can rival any Sport's bar in South West Miami. They make delicious garlic rolls and their phone staff is courteous and delivery is quick! I haven't been inside the restaurant since we use their delivery but the "ambiance " at home while we eat is happy and affordable! Great for football watching and movie nights! read more

An extra-large (16") cheese pizza for $7.99? Yes, please! This is one of Pronto Pizza Express's daily specials, and it's one that will make you keep going back for more! I was born and raised in New Jersey, so I'm pretty picky when it comes to New York style pizza - this place does not disappoint. The pizza is just greasy enough, the cheese is plentiful, and the dough/crust is spot on. No complaints about taste here! The only minor complaint is that it doesn't seem like you can order the daily specials online - I had to call, which wasn't a big deal, but I had to wait a bit to order since they were taking another one at the same time. When I went to pick up my pizza, I also had to wait since it seems they only have one register, which they use when they take phone orders. Tip: There is an up-charge for using a credit card. Went in for a quick two slices of pizza and ended up waiting 35 minutes. Pizza tasted RUBBERY and was extremely GREASY (as you can see in the photo). I was the ONLY ONE THERE, What kind of pizza place doesn't have slices ready?? I paid for a liter of coke and they didn't even have coke... just pepsi or diet coke. I asked for my money back on the coke and they refused saying it will take too long and a manager needed to be present. I took my slice home and put it back into the oven. I think I've been eating here long enough to say that these guys are the real deal. They offer pizza, pasta, calzones, salads, subs, and wings. I've tried something from most categories. I love crunchy vegetable toppings to contrast the heart-stopping gooeyness underneath. For pastas I go for the baked ziti with meat sauce. Their sauce is rich and thick with plenty of meat. This comes with mozzarella cheese baked on top, and three garlic rolls. Plenty of flavor here and an enormous portion. The chicken parm sub and the meatball sub are both great choices for a quick lunch but play second fiddle. The pizza is what this place is all about so, if you're in the area, stop by for a slice. They have daily specials and lunch specials Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. as well as a 10% FIU discount for pick-up orders. If you're lazy and live/work close by, they offer delivery. I decided to give the shrimp pizza a chance. Worst mistake ever. What a huge disappointment. The so called shrimp pizza was made with the tiniest shrimps in the market and had probably 2 even smaller pieces in each slides. On top of everything the cheese they used obviously was not the right type because it ended up separating from the pizza when we tried eating it. My friend and I arrived and the entire staff stood there and said absolutely nothing, even when we approached the counter they still said nothing, and when my friend reminded them of our takeout ordered the guy still looked crazy.... Onto the pizza...we had a extra large...half cheese half veggie...it was decent. Nothing to write home about. If you like thicker crusts and cheesier/more marinara than SKIP this place. I am sad to report that Dominos is better. I had high hopes for this place...I love small family-run businesses but this pizza wasn't that great... My friend said it reminded her of little Caesars.
