At first we had trouble finding the restaurant. We went up and down the strip mall, but turned out it's on the side street facing Milan's. There's a small lot next to it but you can park in the main mall parking lot as well. Walking in, you may think this is just a take out place, but snaking down the corridor you will reach the dining room. Of course if you come here you have to try the star shaped pizza, which has a generous dollop of ricotta in each star corner. While there are a few star-shaped pizza on the menu, you can order from the pizzas on the first page and request it to be made star shaped too. They are well known for their pizza, though I personally find it too thin. I like it with a little more chewt, airy doughy texture. But that's just personal preference. Service wise, maybe our waitress is new, but out of four things we ordered two came out wrong. The billing was also incorrect. read more

Amazing! Love their pizza. They make the dough in house with only natural ingredients and it stays very thin making the pizza taste light. I like the Mimo Pizza and you can never go wrong with cheese. The salads are also great and are served family style. My favorite is the Greek one. Would totally recommend to get the Nutella pizza for dessert. They give the kids actual dough to play with which I find super cute. The staff is super nice and always sweet to my son. It does get very packed on weekends. Since they don't take reservations, I'd suggest coming early. read more

As a big fan of this place, I am happy they opened another location closer to my parent's house! I decided to take my parents since they had never been and it was a great experience. The wait for a table was quite long but it was a Friday night so it is what it is. To eat we ordered the Greta salad, the Star Carlos, and then we made a personalized pizza. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. For the Star Carlos pizza, every triangle crust piece had the chorizo sausage in it and it showed that much more effort on making the pizza so perfect. Stopped in for lunch and waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Modern casual vibe. Started with the burrata board. Burrata, tomato, prosciutto, and arugula. Pro tip: add balsamic vinegar, It makes the dish. Took a gamble on the coffee pizza based on a recommendation. Wasn't my personal favorite pizza flavor combo but the Daniele half with the fresh fior de latte cheese and prosciutto was delicious. Overall it was thin crust with a crisp bite and well cooked. My daughter thinks your pizza is the best pizza she's ever had. She's from LA so she knows her variety of pizza and because you guys choose the thinner side (refer to photo), she absolutely loves this place over any pizza out there. We sadly usually order to go or delivery so we just run in but there was one time we sat in and it was a delicious time! The service was really good, the environment in the store was really welcoming so we'll be back. (My daughter eats your pizza 4x a week). I try and eat here once a month. Usually for lunch. Dinner time is tough to get a table. Pizza is always solid. Thin crust. Light cheese. Not a heavy meal. Service is steady. I hope it gets added to their menu! I am a big fan of Mister01 and would go every time I visit but now that I finally moved here i will be coming back very often! I decided to give this place a try since so many people have recommended it. I got two pizzas and one salad. The Laura salad was pretty good except that it didn't have any dressing on it. The burrata on the salad otherwise was fresh. The pizzas were both really yummy, and I really loved the one that we got star shaped (an extra $1.99). The pizza had a thin crispy crust and had the perfect bread to cheese to sauce ratio. We got the Luca pizza and the Vittoria. One of my favorite parts of this restaurant is that they are super customization and dietary restriction friendly. If you want to remove an ingredient they actually deduct money from the price which is great especially if you don't eat certain meats. read more

This place is fricken fenomenal. I haven't had one in years, and they recently opened one up in Orlando so I've been craving Mister O1. I came down to visit family in Miami and got the chance to eat here and waw!!! I definetly been missing out. We ordered the Star Luca, a pepperoni pizza, and Star Michele. I loved the crunchiness and the lightness of the pepperoni pizza, first time having it and wanted more. Both star pizzas were amazing, I enjoy Star Luca has some spice, meaty and then the creamy ricotta. Star Michele was interesting as the slight early and slight bitterness of the veggies comes together with the tomato sauce and was really tasty. We ended with the Nutella pie and muah! Chiefs kiss. The restaurant was super full when we got there but one of the waiters took care of us quickly told us there was only one table ahead of us. It's great to have an artisan pizzeria in the South Miami suburbs. The minute attention to details shows in the excellent, thin, Naples-style crust, which is fermented for at least 72 hours, and there's no sugar added to the dough or sauce. The Burrata Bar is a nice bonus- we had an excellent caprese. We enjoyed the Riccardo (lots of vegetables), Claudio (nice truffle flavor), and Elisa (good ricotta, but maybe a bit too sweet) pizzas. You can also order small versions of all pizza options. The Nutella with banana pizza was a solid dessert pizza, although it didn't quite reach the heights of the Nutella pizza by Cavalli in Irving, TX (now closed). On the downside, the wine list is disappointing, with limited choices and no vintage years (a personal pet peeve), but this is made up for by the relatively low corkage fee ($15). You can't make reservations, so come early, and the parking lot can be challenging. read more

The girl at the counter was very friendly. I got the Star Beckham, which features bacon topping. You can order additional toppings; I opted for Italian sausage. Excuse the hyperbole, but this is truly one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted! I also added a Sonia salad (named for my wife lol) and it too was very good...very fresh ingredients. Topping the meal off was a truly epic and decadent Nutella and banana calzone. Food/tax/tip came out to $70. Well worth it when considering the delicious quality of all the items! Went to Mister 01 for the first time this week we checked out the Pinecrest location. What a great experience. You honestly don't feel like you're in Miami at all. The food was delicious and surprisingly light. We had the Star Luca and the Daniele. The Star Luca was good, but the Daniele was hands down my favorite simple, perfectly balanced, and just a really well-done pizza. Service was excellent, and the chef even came out to check on us, which says a lot. Definitely a place we'll be going back to. read more

WE ordered a 13inch pepperoni pizza for takeout. Pizza crust was very very thin and limp, almost as if it were undercooked. I am a fan of thin crust, but this was almost transparent. The sauce was sparse at best and if there was cheese, we couldn't find any. Maybe the worse rendition of a pizza have ever had, including frozen ones. We were very disappointed as the 13 inch had barely enough content for two of us. I have read reviews and cannot figure out how our order was so very different from what I read. Came here on a Friday night, so I expected a wait but the wait was extremely long, and the text/queuing system clearly needs improvement. It was confusing and inefficient, which made the experience frustrating right from the start. What made it worse was the service. The hostess working tonight repeatedly asked other guests waiting if they wanted anything, but never once asked me or my girlfriend, even though we were sitting directly in front of her for almost an hour. That lack of attention felt pretty disrespectful and set a bad tone. As for the food, the pizza was underwhelming. It honestly needed more time in the oven. It was super clean, the staff was overly attentive, but not in an annoying way, and the food was excellent.
