I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this experience was bad enough to warrant one. We ordered the meatballs with sauce, and it was immediately obvious that the ground beef was very poor quality. The dominant flavor was just salt -- no balance, no depth. It came with small pieces of bread that we were told are "free if requested," but they arrived burnt and with an unpleasant, almost bitter taste. The pizza was an even bigger disappointment. The pepperoni was extremely low quality -- rubbery and plastic-like. The crust edges were completely unchewable, while the center was soggy and undercooked. Again, everything tasted overwhelmingly salty. Overall, the food lacked quality, care, and proper execution. If you enjoy eating salt above all else, this might be the place for you -- otherwise, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere read more

I have been ordering from Anthony's in Pinecrest for years... and the food has always been great (thus why I keep ordering) my go to are the baby meatballs and pizza. Well, today I was greatly disappointed... I get home and open the three orders of baby meatballs which always feed about 10 people. And... well... a picture is worth a thousand words. So dissatisfied that I don't think I'll order from them again. As for the pizza? Tasted like cardboard... how does a restaurant like this mess up an order so bad. We went here all the time but haven't been since they closed for a bit. We ordered 2 pizzas, wings, garlic rolls and salad. The salad was the best part of the meal. The pepperoni pizza was not crisp and soggy on the bottom and flatter that a pancake with almost no sauce. Half the garlic rolls were hard as rocks, no way we could bite through those. The server told us sometimes the come out like that, what the heck!? They should NEVER come out like that. The wings were chewy and had to be sent back. Not the same food since before closing. We ordered Anthony's for a team event and it definitely hit the spot! We got it delivered and tried a little bit of everything. The surprise favorite? The small Meatball & Ricotta pizza--we just got it to try, but I wish I'd ordered a large. It was hands-down the best one. We also went with a large White Pizza and a large Pepperoni, both solid choices, especially for a crowd. To round things out, we grabbed wings in three flavors: original, garlic, and buffalo. All were super flavorful, had a good amount of meat and had a good kick without being overwhelming. Everything arrived hot and fresh, and it made for a great group meal. We placed an order for two pizzas for delivery, where we subsequently were asked to tip the delivery person at checkout (common if you're ordering online or via app). So we did When our pizza arrived an hour later, the delivery guy just left it at the door - no knock, and no doorbell ring. When I picked them up, I found them as the picture indicates. We are pizza lovers and always have loved Anthony's pizza and wings. Today, Jan, 1st at their Pinecrest location, the crust on our 16" pizza with onions, mushrooms, and prosciutto that we took home to eat tasted stale as did the bread included with the chicken wings. They were very skimpy with the toppings, the tomato sauce seemed to be slopped on top and not baked in, and the pizza as a whole was very salty tasting. Since there's no shortage of pizza places in Pinecrest and surroundings, I wanted to give pizza lovers a heads up that they may find Anthony's pizza disappointing in 2026. It's kind of sad. During a visit to Miami, my wife decided she wanted some pizza. My colleague who is a local suggested Anthony's. My wife ordered a big pizza for pickup. When I came in the staff was really nice. I didn't think the pizza would be enough so I got some garlic knots and a salad. It turns out the pizza was more than enough for my wife and I. The pizza had a great taste and gave me three meals! The garlic knots were alright but I was disappointed that it did not come with marinara. The price of the pizza, the garlic knots, and salad were around $46 bucks. Not sure how much my wife tipped on the pizza but I would say that is a tad bit expensive. Quality was on point though and I ate pizza for three meals though so take that into account. read more

My favorite wings in town. The salad with the Gorgonzola is delicious. The bacon pizza and the Paulie for meat lovers are amazing. Our server Kristine was wonderful she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from keeping our drinks full to bringing extra napkins and checking if we needed anything else. Well we have been coming to Anthony's Coal Fired pizza for many years and for some reason, I never got around to a review so I am closing the loop on that pending item effective immediately. I have to say hat that I personally have never had a bad experience at the his particular location, nestled in the Pinecrest area of South Florida. The food has always been too notch, especially the salads with the optional Gorgonzola cheese.... Dee Lish Us! . On this particular outing our server was Nestor who provided us with wonderful service all the way around. Nestor was awesome and took excellent care of us. After some discussion we opted for the Meatball Appetizer, some fresh baked garlic rolls and the Square Margherita Pizza which were all fresh and excellent. The Square Margherita Pizza is interesting as the mozzarella cheese is not shredded but long strips or planks of mozzarella cheese. Plenty of cheesy goodness for those of us who love mozzarella. I pumped up a notch though as I asked for extra cheese. Overall the menu has a little something for everyone and has all the usual items you would expect. This location has plenty of seating, a full bar and is actually quite nice to catch a game or two at the bar. Sometimes it does get pretty busy but no worries you can pull up to the bar and have a few drinks while you wait to be seated. The decor is pretty cool as well as their are any number of sports memorabilia, Rat Pack and other movie star posters on display. No issues with walking around and checking it all out guys so feel free. On the parking side, they are located in a strip mall that has plenty of it so you should not have a problem. Yeah their are no shortage of pizza joints here in South Florida; however, I think Anthony's provides great overall value for the money as the service is great to boot! So if you have not tried them out yet or find yourself with a case of the hangries and are nearby, you should definitely give them a try! The meatballs were delicious and had just the right amount ricotta cheese. I order a large pepperoni and bacon pizza. The pizza had the nice thick cut pepperoni 's and lots of bacon , plum tomatoes with amazing crispy crust. My wife got margarita pizza which was cooked to perfection. They have large cheese pizza on Wednesdays for $ 10.00. I order a cheese pizza the extra toppings are additional. I had it with mushrooms. It gives the pizza a really good kick. Few years ago, I went to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza occasionally and would always order a cheese pizza with arugula. It was delicious. Then I stopped going after moving away from the area. However this year, I happened to come to this location twice and both times the services were not so great. The server kept forgetting to bring items such as lemons and minced garlic that we requested and reminded. The day before Thanksgiving, we ordered a cheese pizza and an arugula salad to go on the phone. We were told 45 minutes. However, after arriving at the restaurant, we waited for another 30 minutes. It's understandable that the restaurant is busy but we were not being updated with what's going on. Other to-go customers waited nearby as well puzzled by the chaos. While waiting, I went to the bar to order a drink and the bartender weren't tending the bar. Two customers tried to flag down the bartender for me too after they saw that I waited patiently for a while. I ended up asking a server instead and it was faster than continuing to wait for the bartender. Finally, we were deciding to cancel the order and that's when the to-go hostess said, our order is ready, she just has to get the salad. We waited another ten minutes. We saw confusion and a frustrated employee who looked like one of the managers. Then the hostess came back and fumbled to look for our order. I think that it would have been faster if we sat down and ordered instead of to-go. The experiences lately have been pretty bad, maybe the company should consider hiring more employees or teaching the servers/bartenders/hosts to give updates to the customers. read more

Ordered pickup for our 'free' birthday pizza and was looking forward to a good pie. Wow, were we disappointed! After ruturning home, and looking at this charcoal pizza, I wanted to return to Anthony's, but it was too inconvenient. The pizza was burnt, really burnt. Honestly, I don't know how the pizza maker even served this disaster to a customer? The funniest part of this experience (if it can be considered funny) is the second picture, "made with care, served with pride." We also ordered overpriced Eggplant Marino. It's been years since I visited this location tho we've had some disappointing Uber eats deliveries during the Pandemic. Lots of vegan options. I absolutely recommend you make the trip to experience this place in person. The salad is fantastic and a great place to start. I can eat the entire large salad myself- Order a side of hot peppers and a vegan pizza if you like. So amazing I tried to eat it slowly just to make it last. Dina gets their tuna sandwich and you might not think this is a place for tuna but think again!
