The day before, my husband was at the bar when another customer was being extremely rude and disrespectful to the bartender. Since the manager James did not step in to handle the situation, my husband felt compelled to intervene and escort the individual out to protect the staff. When we returned on March 9, instead of addressing the situation professionally or showing any appreciation, the manager pulled my husband aside and spoke to him in a very disrespectful and confrontational manner. The interaction escalated to the point where we were asked to leave the restaurant entirely. We were shocked by how poorly the situation was handled. A manager should demonstrate professionalism, respect, and the ability to manage difficult situations none of which were shown here. As loyal customers who live just minutes away, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Due to this incident, we will no longer be returning or supporting this establishment.

Unfortunately, the service is absolutely awful. There is a female waitress that takes care of the section towards the left when you come in. Unfortunately she's there most of the time. Not only is she rude and ignores our group every time we go for happy hour. If you want to refill, good luck. We ordered a drink in 20 minutes later we still didn't have it. To top it off, you will ask for something and she will give you a bad attitude. The last time we went, I said would be our last. I wanted to pay for my specific items and asked to split up the tab in our small group. Of course she never does it because it seems like some sort of scam she's running. She will add extra things on your bill and it's not the first time she's done this. There were a lot of charges that did not belong to us. She didn't seem helpful at all so I went to speak to the manager. I showed the manager the charges that pertained to my husband and I. He handled the issue or so I thought. When we left, she went to the table and talked to trash about my husband and I to all of our friends. She then proceeded to charge them for what she said were "our" charges when we had already paid a $200 bill. She was charging things that were never brought to the table. The fact that she went to trash talk about us after we left to our table of friends is extremely unprofessional, and in my humble opinion, she should be FIRED. For this reason alone, we will never be eating at this establishment as long as she is working here. It's awful enough that we had to always endure bad service from her. She seems more interested in flirting with the males at tables than actually providing any type of service. Then to make matters worse, she got double paid because not all they did we pay our $200 bill, but she came to trash talk to our table to extort more money out of our friends. We felt terrible because our friends felt forced to pay the money. NEVER in my life have I had such a terrible terrible service!! What kind of waitress argues with her customers, puts extra things on the bill, and then bad mouths a customer to their friends to extort more money?

He walked us through the menu, shared their most popular items, and really made us feel welcome. My husband and I like to try a little bit of everything, and he had his heart set on wings so we ordered the hot honey wings with a side of mac and a side of collard greens. He absolutely loved those wings. I was lucky to get even one bite because he cleaned the bones! The mac & cheese was also a big hit for him he wished he had more. The collard greens weren't his personal favorite, but I enjoyed them, and I know that can be more of an acquired taste. I ordered the fried conch with fries and a side of fried shrimp, plus the mystery drink because I was curious. The drink was delicious it reminded me of something sweet and fun you'd grab at the fair, so if you like sweeter drinks, I definitely recommend it. The conch was fried perfectly not overdone, no old oil tastes just crispy and really good. But the real star of the show was that lobster sauce. Pairing it with the fried conch and shrimp took the whole meal to another level. The shrimp were crunchy on the outside and tender inside, and everything just came together beautifully. I'm honestly still thinking about that lobster sauce and can't wait to come back for more. On top of the great food, the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. We got to meet both the manager and the cook, and they genuinely cared about how we were enjoying our meal and if anything needed fixing which it didn't. Everything was perfect for us. We'll definitely be back soon. This place truly left a great impression on us.

We ordered the wings, fries, and chips and pico. The wings were a 10 out of 10. The chips and pico were not my favorite. Chips were fresh but the pico was kind of bland. We sit down at 7:00, order our food by 7:05. Fast forward to 7:30 and still nothing has come out of the kitchen. Meanwhile, a group that got there roughly 15-20 minutes after us already has appetizers served. When I ask about the hold up, the response is "the kitchen is backed up". So what about the people that came 15 minutes after us and already have food served? The response? "Oh they just ordered appetizers". Meanwhile, we ordered a seared ahi tuna (which is partially raw, meaning it can't take more than 2-3 minutes on the grill) and our usually sliders and burger. When I asked again, no response. Needless to say, this place used to be a pretty good spot to hit up. Not anymore apparently, unless you wanna wait 40+ minutes for your food ON AN EMPTY NIGHT. Also worth noticing, we probably saw 8-9 people come in to pick up their to-go orders. So I guess lesson learned is, don't go here physically, just order online and you'll prob get it faster. Needless to say, won't be coming back. It's a shame case it's usual at one of our spots to hit up. The bonus part: I ask one of the girls who the manager was and the response was "oh no we don't have one". Yeah, you guys might need one. Lmaooo

Flanigan's is one of those. Great 420 celebration this year. Had all the usual suspects. Wings, nachos, grilled fish, cold beer, mozzarella sticks, the whole lineup. The mood is right, the beer is cold, and it's not some chaotic scene. Just people hanging out, doing their thing, enjoying themselves. We love you, Flanigan's.

I always take advantage of the extra hack thanks to Yelp of getting a spot on the waitlist before even heading out, since the wait time tends to be very long and I live a very short drive away. This is a life-saver truly, and the live updates always make it so that by the time I arrive my table is ready to go! You can't go wrong with the classics, with an emphasis on the burger or wings. I am weak for their steamed vegetables for some reason and could go in just to get that. Everytime I go I marvel at how they managed to always be so booked and busy and still bring out dependable deliciously hot plates without making you wait too long. If you're a local, I know this is one of your favorites, and if you happen to be visiting the city you must stop by to have a truly well-rounded real Miami experience.
