    Sirloin kubideh platter
    Mary P.

This new location opened up recently in Pinecrest offering a healthy choice in dining. The interior is simple, yet provides a pleasant dining area. Menu options include salads, wraps, bowls, and platters. We opted for the sirloin kubideh platter and the chicken joojeh platter. Both were served hot and the meats were very flavorful. The chicken on the joojeh could have been juicier as it was a little on the dry side. The servings were huge and included the kebabs, rice, salad, and a small scoop of hummus. If you have never been to Rice, you should look at the website to see what you would like to order or download the app. There is a digital menu board, but it does not have all of the menu items. It would have been helpful if there were some sort of sign with a QR code to be able to read the menu while at the location of if the location could have a printed version.

This is one of the go to meals close to my house, when I want a healthy lunch / dinner. You get a great amount of protein and the salad is super fresh and wholesome. The food leaves you feeling great, and the sauces are so addictive. I get the sirloin kubideh platter or the brisket. Great meal that doesn't leave you feeling slumped. The service is nice, the place can get pretty busy so they are going quick. The feel of the place is open and airy, tons of natural light, honestly I think they hook up the dining in plates a little more than the take out so it's definitely a place you can go to eat in and get a great experience.

Delicious Mediterranean food in Pinecrest!! The restaurant is brand new and it's beautiful! Maximum occupancy is 44 persons. There is a small free parking lot north of the restaurant. Ordered two of my favorite chicken joojeh kabob platters, which comes with chicken, rice, salad, hummus and a piece of pita bread. The chicken is always so moist and tender. And I could drink their sumac sauce! It's so good!! Staff was friendly and welcoming!!

Finally stopped in this location. The venue is nice, bright, and comfortable. Ordering is similar to what you experience at any other place ordering bowls. However, there are more offerings besides bowls. It was a little confusing at first but they had printed menus and the staff here were super amiable and helpful. Our food was clearly very fresh. Everything was tasty. I had never tried sumac sauce, wow delicious. The portions on a platter were quite generous. We each came home with leftovers. The only drawback is that I found it a bit pricey. But isn't everything these days? Come and enjoy!

Food tastes ok but it is EXPENSIVE. $25 plus tax and tip for a small bowl at a fast food take out. Never again.

The portions are really generous for the price as well. While they do give a lot of rice, they still pile on a bunch of your selected protein and have a good sized salad on the side. I ordered the braised beef brisket platter which was flavorful and really tender. I also got it with the spicy sumac sauce which was also super flavorful! Highly recommend. This is a great lunch place and also a good option to feed a lot of people or a great option if you want something filling and flavorful without breaking the bank. I can also see a team coming in after a practice here to get some post practice fuel. There are plenty of places to sit inside, and the tables were very clean when I came in at the end of the day.

Mediterranean (specifically Lebanese) food is perhaps my favorite on this planet, but this place severely disappointed. I want to start off with the good. Nice, friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. And all the sides we had were great. Now, the bad. We got the beef shawarma, and it was ok. The shawarma itself was largely bland, and just tasted like cut up steak bites with no flavor. However, that's not the worst part. I had an absolutely nauseating experience with the arayes, which is one of my favorite dishes that I make at home from time to time too. It smelled like cigarettes, gasoline, and death. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm not sure what kind of meat it was, I assume lamb, and I've had experience with lamb that had gone bad in the fridge, and the texture was very reminiscent. I hope that's just a coincidence, and the smell was from another source. More so than the texture, again, the smell was enough to make us gag, and I have a strong stomach. I'd give lower, but I was treated fairly, and that would feel unfair. Thankfully, I'm not in this area that much, but I hope I just got unlucky and everyone else had and will continue to have good experiences here.
