This was my first time visiting Habibi, and I am beyond impressed. I had a tremendous amount of fun. I usually don't love dancing unless I'm truly having a blast ~ but between the amazing energy of the team, the incredible dancers, and the overall vibe, I couldn't help myself. It was impossible not to dance! My friends and I received wonderful service, and the food was absolutely delicious. My seabass was so yummy, and some of the highlights of the night were the Truffle Tuna Tartine, Lobster Roll, Spicy Tartare de Saumon, and Mezze Prince ~ every single dish was outstanding. And my drink, the Summer Layla, was SO good! I love Mediterranean food and Arabic culture, so this place was the perfect combination for me. What truly blew my mind, though, was the music ~ huge kudos to the DJ! He played a very popular Russian song and we loved it!! And when bottle service comes out (whether champagne, tequila, or anything else), the entire team dances around the table. It's so fun, so electric, and honestly something you have to experience for yourself. Habibi Miami is a beautiful waterfront restaurant, bar, and lounge located on the Miami River. The decor is Arabic and very elegant. Their dinner menu is a fusion of Arabic and Mediterranean food. They have a full bar. Wear your finest designer fashion here. It is the perfect place for celebrating something special like a birthday, an engagement, an anniversary, a baby shower, a promotion or a girl's night out. The DJ was playing beautiful Arabic music sounds. There is no top 40 music here, but you will enjoy it nevertheless. We each ordered the Don Julio reposados. We sat at the bar as we already had dinner. Our server, Davio, was friendly and attentive. Our drinks were perfectly made and chilled to perfection. The orange slices added awesome flavor to the tequila. We were there on Sunday evening to see what it was all about and there were many beautiful ladies celebrating. I think they all left their husbands and boyfriends at home and partied to the hilt. Habibi recently opened next door to Kiki on the River restaurant. I had such an amazing night celebrating my cousin's birthday! We arrived about 30 minutes past our reservation time, so our table had been given away. Thankfully, the staff was still able to accommodate us after about a 30-minute wait, and we were seated around 11 p.m., right when the party was in full swing. The energy was incredible! The DJ kept the crowd hyped, and the dining room was full of ambiance. Belly dancers moved gracefully between tables, and every time a bottle was purchased, the staff celebrated with music, lights, and cheers. There were flashing lights, sirens, smoke effects, and guests dancing at their tables. The staff encouraged everyone to join in, even handing out lights and tambourines to get the crowd engaged. Despite the lively atmosphere, the servers still managed to provide great service. The food was delicious! We shared several appetizers, including the hummus platter, shrimp lollipops, and dumplings. For my entrée, I had the seafood pasta, which was an excellent choice. The drinks were okay, though definitely on the pricey side. My only critique would be the restrooms, they're trailers, which doesn't quite match the luxury vibe of the venue. While they were nicely decorated, they could be upgraded. This is one of those club/lounge/restaurants located on the Miami River that allows the millionaires to park their yachts and come on expecting a party. The party aspect certainly does not disappoint at this spot. From the moment you walk in feel the red carpet feeling of luxuriousness and wealth. The main dining room has multiple couches and tables for bottle service and smaller tables for smaller groups to dine. There is a main bar in the center with a DJ booth directly above it. The interior is absolutely breathtaking and decorated just wonderfully! What unfortunately lowers my rating is the service. It's not very good at all. Now, I understand that you don't go to these places for the service but for the atmosphere, but I feel as though it isn't that difficult to be able to put a little more effort in as a bartender to smile and be kind and for a server to be speedy and more efficient. The bartenders are very robotic and not very approachable. It's difficult to hear inside because of the music but the waitress we had could have done a better job at checking back with us more often and making sure we were happy with our food and drink orders. The food was not bad at all either, but the portions were a bit small. The lobster roll was split in two for sharing but it was so small it could be eating in about two bites. The lamb lollipops were flavorful but not served hot but more warm/cool. The orange sauce absolutely made that dish taste so much better. The drinks were fantastic. While the bartenders couldn't look to be happy to save their lives, they know how to make some damn good drinks. My recommendations would be the Moroccan Margarita and the Lebanese Limonata. They were garnished beautifully and served in luxurious glassware. The hostesses were beautiful and the friendly and yes, they do require reservations with a $50 charge for each guest in case of no shows. There is a valet across the street for $40 and there is a mandatory 22% charge for service on each check. The bathrooms are small and could be improved immensely. The music was fantastic despite how loud it was that evening. Like I stated earlier, a great club atmosphere if you are willing to spend. Had to wait over an hour for a table i booked a month ago, receptionist was very rude, after being seated, it was all a rush, felt very unwelcome, i waited longer than i was sitting, was not even asked if we want a main course, it was my birthday,the glasses were still full, was handed the check while still eating; the full plates were taken off the table, the manager was the rudest person i've ever encountered, cursed me off disrespectfully as hell, as a woman i've never been spoken to like that, after 45 min we were kicked off the table with security while still eating!! So savory and interesting in flavor Now for the one downside: the bathrooms are definitely a trailer-style situation, but even that was done with an elevated touch and creative décor. Only in Miami can you turn a porta-potty setup into a photo op. also the desserts were not my favorite. But maybe we made the wrong selection. Habibi is where wannabe influencers and those who wanna be "be seen" type come to buy overpriced bottle service. We came in for my friends bachlorette party and were treated like we were District 12 folk who wandered into District 1. We waited 1+ hour for our 10 PM reservation with no regarsd to how rude that is and nowhere comfortable to wait. They told us we weren't even allowed to stand up front (yet another group of plastic surgery barbie dolls were), so either stand outside in the heat or at the crammed bar with no seats where dancing is happening, smoke guns are going off every 5 minutes, and the bartender is too busy to serve you. After finally being seated, it took another 10 minutes to get water, and the waiter had the audacity to be upset we didn't want to order entrees at 11:30 PM (we were supposed to be sat at 10PM). We did order apps and hookah ($200 and only one hose) but I guess unless you are a high spender, a social climbing barnacle, or friends with the owners/staff, you aren't really treated like a customer, more like a nuisance. Food was ok, music was the only vibe, the belly dancing was laughable, and that particular night the whole show was fixated on the staff whose birthday party it was. The ads of "treating brides to a great time" are fake- unless you know, you want to shell out $5000. Great people watching but not a place you will be able to talk to those at your table - it is so loud, so dark, so many strobe lights, it's almost impossbile to think. I had the worst dining experience at Habibi. The only reason I'm not giving this place a one star is because of the manager, who genuinely tried his hardest to make our experience better. Despite his efforts, I would never return. We had a reservation on a Saturday night. As we were about to enter the restaurant, the security guards refused to let us in because one of our friends didn't meet their "dress code." He was wearing a sweater with jeans and sneakers--nothing offensive or overly casual--but apparently, this wasn't acceptable. After 10 minutes of back and forth with them, our friend decided to leave, telling us to enjoy dinner without him. In hindsight, we should have taken this as a sign to leave too. When we checked in with the hostesses, they told us to wait at the bar. Fifteen minutes passed, and then 25 more. When we asked for an update, they told us we were waiting for a table to clear. Another 20 minutes went by and at this point, we had waited over an hour for our reservation. When we pressed again, they admitted there were no tables available because the owner had shown up with his friends, leaving us without a spot. While waiting, we noticed people dressed far more casually than our friend, a girl in leggings and sneakers, and a man in drawstring sweatpants. Yet somehow, our friend in a nice sweater and sneakers wasn't allowed in? After another 30 minutes of waiting, we were fed up. The manager stepped in and did his best to accommodate us, eventually seating us at the bar. Unfortunately, things didn't improve much from there. The food was mediocre. The burgers were overly salty, but the salads and truffle cheese sticks were surprisingly good. However, we never received our entrées because the "show" started, and the kitchen seemed to stop altogether. My friend arrives and they seat us on a high top, which I was not a fan of. I ask the girl that showed us to our seat about hookah, because I didn't see anyone with one on their table. She tells me that hookah is available at 10pm and is $200. So I'm now upset because I wanted dinner and hookah. When they called to confirm reservations, I asked about hookah and they only mentioned I needed to sit somewhere specific and she couldn't guarantee I would get to sit there. We proceeded to looking at the menu and ordering. We ordered the shrimp lollipop, arayes sliders, spicy tartare de saumon, branzino grille and wagyu steak. We ordered the steak medium well, and it came out medium rare. This is where they lose another star. We tell our server and he's nice about it saying he'll tell the chef. The manager comes back with the plate, gas lights is about the cook. Tells us like we're idiots that this is what we ordered but he's having the chef remake it... overall, the food was average, nothing jaw dropping. Overall, would I personally make a reservation again and go back? No. It's a bucket list destination at best. Is it somewhere I would go to for a special event that requires photo ops? We went for a Bach dinner and had multiple tables, they kept delaying and delaying seating us and in the end they wanted to seat us right a the time when the minimum spend time hit. By that point, we were very upset by how we were treated, so we did spend that requested minimum amount.. just some where else where we were treated with respect because by then we were fed up. It was meant to be a great night and we relied on them for that and it was a let down. Everywhere else in Miami we went to welcomed and hosted us so well. Don't waste your time And if management does read this, people value respect more than even a good time. One negative word can change everything. Met some friends here for a networking event. I was excited as I'd never been here and it was on my list. On the walk up the ambiance and aesthetic was cute just as I imagined. Once in we were beginning to be seated so my friends and I took a table together. Later a couple people we didn't know were seated with us also. Come on, the more the merrier. Most people seemed to be having drinks, but me and my friends are going to support and order food to eat if we're in a restaurant no matter the occasion. So we did. I ordered several apps to share with my friend Laura and we both ordered a cocktail. The food wasn't too bad but also wasn't the best I've had. The lamb lollipops were my favorite. I later ordered a hookah because a menu was brought to the table that I found was $200 when the bill came. Excessive if you ask me but I didn't ask in advance and the price wasn't on the menu. Now when some of the group was ready to disperse here's where it got tricky and very rude. Let me reiterate that the establishment knew that it was hosting a networking event hence a group of random strangers. I just so happen to come with a few friends. One bill comes to the table and that wasn't a terrible issue, I said I'd pay for me and my friend to reduce cards being provided. And others were checking their portion. Had this been a table of me and my friends one of us would gladly have paid and we could figure it out on the back end. Giancarlo our server begins to huff and puff and saying never again never again. And continues to talk out loud venting his frustration while everyone is looking at him and each other blown away that he's speaking to customers like this. I asked if he was tired he said I'm not used to doing this we are mostly a bottle service restaurant and people put their credit card on the reservation. So I calmly explain that the establishment understood it was hosting a networking event and should have provisioned for individual checks or an easier system. He said I don't care I'm never doing this again. I don't know what anyone ordered. So he leaves them to figure it out. Because the check wasn't adding up based on what people said they ordered and paid for. For reference it was 6 of us total. I had already had my card swiped for $390 and change including 22% added gratuity. Once everyone paid there's still a balance of maybe $150 or so. We're asking him can he figure out where the extra should go etc but he refused to figure it out. So most of the group started to leave. Myself and two ladies stayed another hour or more. I had ordered another martini and asked several times to pay for it. Finally he brings me the other portion of the check and says what are we going to do about this. I held up my receipt and said I paid, this is why I asked you to work this out before others left. He said I don't think people paid for the waters that they poured when we sat. (I did) So he gets the manager who comes over rudely threatening to call 911 because he's not paying the bill. I tell him the same thing. But at this point I had long since decided I was never coming back and was tired of being talked to less than a patron, also that I didn't want them to think it was about money or lack of so I put my card down and covered the balance and left. I made the 7p reservation and arrived and the place was completely empty and only filled about two or three tables the two hours i was there. The servers and managers tried pretty hard which was the one upside of my experience. It was too dark and the music was too loud. The babaganoush was watery, the hummus was just ok, but there was option for one or the other you had to get a three item platter. The sliders were slightly undercooked, the bread and the beef. The brussel sprout salad left a lot to be desired. The branzino was undercooked and covered in a dill based sauce that just wasn't very good. I literally had my fork in my mouth at this point taking a bit of my food....We asked why we should move. She got extremely snippy because we said we were eating & didn't want to move. She left & then came back to make more comments. To make manners worse she started to come at me saying I don't need to be rude etc then brought a security guard to stand next to the table until we left. It was very pathetic, rude & disrespectful. I will never return to this place or recommend it unless you have no respect for yourself & physically want to be disrespected, talked down to & waste $350 on dinner. It is 100% obvious that they try to flip these tables 3 times each night & they don't care because if you're a tourist you will probably only go once so they think behaving like this is acceptable. Service was slow and inattentive, and there was a clear lack of professionalism throughout the visit. Prices are significantly inflated compared to the quality delivered, and to make matters worse, extra charges appeared on the bill without proper explanation. Habibi was a fun experience but the vibes were definitely off. Our waitress was very pushy and a little bit rude. She gave us no time to look at the menu or breathe. She would stand over our heads constantly asking if we were ready to order. I understand that they have a 2 hour limit, but there was no reason to be pushy in a way were we wouldn't have enjoyed our time. My family and I also went at opening time which would make us think we wouldn't be rushed. The food was okay, nothing crazy. They are very small portions and pretty expensive. This place had a weird smell to it and the music was such a weird beat and left us feeling if skeptical of what was to come. The belly dancers were nice and we enjoyed the ambiance. Habibi is fun and all but honestly not worth it. A bit unprofessional and just so odd. The waiters would take the cloths, fold them, and put them on our legs which made us feel uncomfortable. Came here tonight for my friends Birthday, and let's just say. The service was by far the worst and most disappointing and disrespectful service ever. Never were we asked did want water or anything to start, they sat us and a waiter came by snatched up the glasses and asked very rudely are we ordering. We sat for almost 10 min with no one even coming by to see what we may have been interested in ordering. In conclusion we left, it felt like we were being excluded from service because of our demographic background. We politely took our money and services to another restaurant. I would never recommend to any one of any culture. Very selective with who they're willing to service properly. read more

Terrible restaurant experience for my birthday. We had reservations this evening for my birthday. We arrived 15 minutes early and checked in. We had dinner reservations, unknowing that they reserve all their tables as 'bottle service' and leave a few 2 tops and a few outside tables for food reservations. Outside they only had 1 table for 6 and 1 table for 4. Both those tables were seated by people who arrived after us. All the booths inside were set up to bottle service, but the tables they seemed for food. After an hour and half, we asked about our table and they said that all the inside tables were for bottle service at that point and that they were waiting for physical tables to show up so they can seat us outside. They also said they didn't know when that would be. They said to come back tomorrow and they will have a table for us. At the end, we waited almost 2 hours for a table, did not get to eat and the sad part is if the restaurant I just told us there was a minimum we would've paid it. We are used bottle service and are used to paying high minimum yet sadly left for pizza. read more

Where to start? This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had. We had a reservation, but my friend wasn't allowed in because he was wearing a t-shirt. They insisted on a button-down or long sleeves, which felt absurd, especially since I noticed other guests in leggings and flip-flops who were let in because they "knew the owner." That double standard left a bad taste in my mouth. To make matters worse, even with our reservation, they gave our table away and we ended up waiting over an hour. Eventually, we were sat at the bar, which really wasn't the experience I booked. The manager was upset about the situation and did comp our meal and add a bottle of champagne, which I appreciated but it didn't erase the frustration. The food itself was actually good, and the live dancers added energy to the room. Still, with the way everything was handled, I won't be returning. I recently went to Habibi Miami and I felt like a kid at Disney world for the first time. If you are looking for THE Miami night time experience, this place is IT. They have done an excellent job at creating a luxurious environment with tasteful food, and a party like no other. A reservation is required ahead of time (as is expected with all new restaurants in Miami). There is a dress code (as is expected with all restaurants of this level). The service was excellent, they have a big team and everyone serves a different role. Is it expensive? Yes, but you get what you paid for. We were a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed the food. There was not one complaint about the food. On the contrary, we were pleasantly surprised with each dish. This is a great place to go with a group as the night life is like no other. Habibi - A vibe but Disappointing Ambience? Stunning. The décor transports you straight to the Middle East--rich colors, waterfront views, total photo-op vibes. Everything else fell flat. Service was almost nonexistent: my friend and I arrived at the bar and it took 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and there was no one at the bar. I would say it might be a race thing but what do I know. Anyways, our party of six waited long for our food and our server didn't even check to see how our food was. The prices and the portion size didn't match. Very overrated and over price for some mediocre food The real kicker was the bill. A $12 mocktail showed up as $18, we were charged for drinks we never got, and a Cleopatra margarita cocktail rang in at $65--more than all of our entrées. The math not mathing.
