Elia on the River is absolutely beautiful. The view of the Miami River is gorgeous, and the decor is stylish, picturesque, and very Instagram-worthy. The service was also really good throughout our lunch. The food, however, was just okay. Nothing was bad, and I don't have a specific complaint, but none of the dishes felt particularly memorable either. Since it's a more upscale and pricey restaurant, I expected the food to stand out more. With so many excellent dining options in Miami, I would probably choose somewhere else for a full dinner. However, Elia is a great choice if you're looking for a beautiful atmosphere, a nice cocktail, and perhaps a light bite by the river.
Super disappointed with this place super beautiful nice staff but the 20% they put on each tab is not okay it was 40% for me and my friend since we spilt it but good never have I paid this in any restaurant I been to...I feel like this is not fair drinks $25 steak and Fries $68 wow like I won't recommend this place you guys neee to do better ....
Mark was a great waiter. We loved the ambiance and decor. The restaurant was so pretty and elevated. A perfect place for brunch or date night. Drinks were perfect.
Service was great and the food was delicious ! Lobster Benedict's was amazing and the truffle and pear pizza was fire. The pistachio tiramisu was to die for !! We sat outside and were able to see the boats come by. Very pretty!?
Such a fun experience! The service was amazing, and the manager even gave us complimentary drinks and a section to enjoy after dinner, which was so nice. The food was really good, and being right on the river made the setting so cute. The violinist was incredible, and later the DJ and music made the whole ambiance even better. Definitely a great spot for dinner that turns into a fun night out!
This restaurant is definitely on the pricier side, but wow--those vibes and that river view make it totally worth the splurge. The brunch was delicious! I went with six ladies on a Sunday afternoon, and we had such a good time. Even though it's pricey, the place was buzzing with people enjoying the DJ and live band. The energy was great, and the service was fantastic--everyone greeted us with a smile. Such a perfect spot for a fun brunch outing!
I went for brunch one weekend at prime time where they had a live jazz band playing. The volume was very loud and the music played throughout the entire restaurant through connected speakers . They were good, but thenoise level makes it difficult to hear the person next to me. I noticed other tables with more than one person were screaming at each other to carry a conversation, which gave the whole restaurant more of a cafeteria vibe. As for the food, the salmon shakshuka was really just salmon on top of marinara sauce, the smoked salmon flatbread ended up just being a pizza with no sauce, the burrata was decently flavored but the tomatoes weren't the ripest. overall, i think i would only go to sit at a table by the water to enjoy the view with some classic cocktails (their specialty cocktails were all very sweet).
Stopped in on a Friday with some work colleagues and we ordered some appetizers to share, the burrata & Greek salad. Those were very good. Several colleagues ordered pasta dishes to share and I ordered the branzino. I asked for a side of the carrots, which they didn't have so I got the French fries. The branzino was very good. Cooked perfectly & moist. Just wish for the price it came with a nice veggies. Fries were great with truffle & Parmesan. Overall, great service and nice ambiance on the water.
Elias on the River is one of Miami's newest trendy spots, and I can definitely see why people go. The restaurant is beautiful, the décor is stylish, and there are plenty of picture-worthy spots. It's a fun place to check out if you're looking for a cute brunch or lunch with friends. However, take a hand fan because it's extremely hot even if sitting inside. The portions are huge, so most dishes are easy to share, but I do think they're overpriced for what you get. We had the chicken Caesar salad, which was fresh with crisp romaine, plenty of Parmesan, sliced avocado and grilled chicken that was well seasoned. The Montecristo French toast was enormous, thick slices of buttery brioche with a crispy golden outside, a soft, fluffy center, dusted with powdered sugar and served with melted cheese. ImIt was rich and definitely meant for sharing. The biggest disappointment were the drinks. We sat at the bar while we waited for our table and found out they don't offer the bottomless drink special there, which was a letdown. Instead, I ordered a $26 Limoncello Spritz and the flavor didn't match the price. It tasted like seltzer water, lightly citrusy but lacked the refreshing limoncello punch I was expecting, and it felt watered down. Overall, Elias on the River is worth visiting once for the atmosphere and a few great photos. The food is good, the portions are generous, but the prices are high, and the drinks didn't impress me. I'm glad I went for the experience, but it's probably not a place I'd rush back to.
Elia's Jazz Brunch is honestly the perfect way to spend a beautiful sunny Sunday. The moment you walk into this restaurant, you're surrounded by shimmering imported marbles and stunning hand painted murals. The entire restaurant is open concept, giving you panoramic views of the river and passing yachts. Stepping outside to their patio seating is like stepping into a beautifully decorated garden. Here, you'll have better views of the river and later in the evening, the golden Miami sunset acts as the perfect backdrop. From here, you'll be able to dock your boat and walk right into the restaurant. I cannot emphasize the outstanding service we received from the staff here. From the wait staff to the managers, everyone was delightful and made certain my unlimited mimosa glass was never empty. Someone even noticed I didn't have their complimentary brunch fan and brought one to my table. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the shrimp Greek salad, grilled octopus, branzino and for desert, the pistachio white chocolate layered cake. Every bite was flavorful and fresh. Presentation was also 10/10. Adding to this was the perfectly crafted drinks and live jazz. Elia takes brunch to a whole new level, making it a full celebration.

I came here with to celebrate my mom's birthday, and it couldn't have been a more beautiful place for the occasion. The views of the river are absolutely stunning and create such a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the branzino, which was perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh, but the real star of the evening was the tiramisu. It was easily one of the best desserts I've had in a long time and the perfect ending to a special celebration. The service was warm, attentive, and made my mom feel celebrated. Between the gorgeous waterfront setting, delicious food, and wonderful hospitality, this is definitely a restaurant I'll continue recommending.
I reserved this place for 13 people for my friends Bachelorette Dinner! We went on a Thursday night. It happened to be ladies night, where they offer complimentary champagne! My group was able to enjoy this and mingle while we waited for our reservation. Because we had a large group, we had to do a prix fixe menu. We chose meatballs, pizza, & greek salad as apps. For the main course, i had the gnocchi and was also able to taste the chicken cutlet. For dessert, they gave us sample platters of all their desserts. Every item was soo good. Most memorable is the meatballs forsure. This restaurant is very beautiful, has nice live music and offers a great place to celebrate special occasions.

If you love savory and sweet things paired with a refreshing Aperol spritz, Tipsy Tea Thursdays at Elia is exactly what you need. From the minute we walked we were greeted with a smile by the friendly host as she escorted us to a lovely table outside the patio with the view of the Miami River. It was actually very pleasant despite the hot weather. There were fans everywhere so we stayed cool. The server was also very knowledgeable and explained how their tea time works. Really enjoyed the savory and sweet bites and they were beautifully presented. Also you can opt for bottomless spritz and select 3 flavors. They were all boozy, refreshing and satisfying. Afternoon indulgence hits differently @eliaontheriver where waterfront views, elegant tea service, and perfectly crafted cocktails come together for the ultimate Miami experience by the water. read more

I went to Elia on the River a couple of months ago and tried a few different things on the menu. We ordered the lamb chops, truffle pasta, asparagus, and a few other dishes. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I really love the Mediterranean look and feel, and the location on the river makes it a really nice spot for dinner. As far as the food, it was okay. Nothing was necessarily bad, but nothing really stood out or wowed me either. The lamb chops and truffle pasta were good, but overall, the food was just nothing to rave about for me. I would probably give Elia another shot and come back to see if I have a different experience with the food next time because I really do love the atmosphere and the restaurant itself. read more

VERY GOOD! My friends and I went for lunch. I had Chicken Milanese. It was delicious but was served with a salad instead of pasta which was disappointing. My friends had spicy rigatoni, rustic salad and paglia e fiend. They all loved their entrees as well. The hummus appetizer, bread and pistachio bliss dessert and Hugo spritz were all very good. We wish the menu had more entree options and that the establishment didn't charge $5 for a coke refill and didn't charge for extra servings of bread. Our server was very friendly and nice. It was his first day and he was AWESOME! The staff needs to smile more and give off a more welcoming vibe. read more
I live so close to Elia on the River and somehow never stopped in, and I am genuinely upset with myself about that because this place is beautiful. Like, stop and look around beautiful. I got there around 5:30 for a mojito making class that started at 6 and got to catch happy hour first, which was a great move. The cocktails were delicious and the pizza was $10, a great portion, and absolutely yummy. Already a win before the class even started. The class was led by Gio Gutierrez and it was such a good time. About ten or eleven of us gathered at the bar and we got to make two mojitos, the classic and a modern version, and then obviously drink them, which is the best part. We even got a little recipe card to take home so we can recreate them later. Halfway through I was texting my boyfriend like, I found our new spot. That's how you know it's good. It's right by the water, the vibe is relaxed and beautiful, the staff made everyone feel welcome, and the whole experience just felt really special without being pretentious. I genuinely hope they keep doing these classes because it takes a great restaurant to create such a great atmosphere and overall experience. 10 out of 10, go for the food, stay for the mojito class, and maybe also text someone you love because you're going to want to bring them back! read more

A group of four of us had lunch here recently and from the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The space is stunning with lush floral installations draping from the pergola ceiling, gorgeous scalloped amber umbrellas, rattan chairs, and a breathtaking waterfront view of the Miami River with yachts docked right outside. The food delivered on every front. We started with the Crispy Calamari served with a lemon-caper aioli that had us scraping the bowl clean. Our Virgin Margaritas were just as thoughtfully crafted as any cocktail menu, refreshing and gorgeous to look at. The Seafood Capellini was the star of the table, a silky pasta with shrimp in a lemon-butter cream sauce that was absolutely dreamy. We finished with the Chocolate Temptation cake and the Gelato Pistachio, both wonderful ways to end the meal. Service was warm and attentive throughout. Elia on the River delivers on ambiance, food, and hospitality. We will absolutely be back! read more

Came for lunch , the hostess was amazingly professional and the wait staff outstanding, the place is gorgeous , the food was really good and so was the drinks. is on the expense side, but it is a refreshing experience considering the area where is located, I would've never thought such a nice place was in that building. While the place is gorgeous, you are only as good as the company you keep. This place could use some lessons in customer service . We waited over an hour past our reservation time and even arrived early . We specifically asked for a table outdoors and was told those only accommodate bigger parties even though we were 4 and we reserved it. We were pretty much told thats not available for you so sit here at this other table or idk what to tell you. Food was ok but it's pricy for what you get. Unlimited was like $45 I did enjoy the drinks. Place is gorgeous. read more
Absolutely love this spot, it's beautiful and the service is great. The food is almost always delicious. I've gone here about 8 times and only once did I get a bad dish (undercooked calamari) but normally their food is amazing. I love their pasta dishes. They also have live music and great views while eating. read more

We came here for the first time yesterday to celebrate my granddaughter's 20th birthday. What a gorgeous restaurant it was totally stunning. Not only was the restaurant beautiful but the service was four stars from John our server. He was so helpful and knowledgeable of the menu, we will definitely be coming back here. read more

Went for lunch with a friend and got the prefix menu it was all so delicious! (Portions were a little small but you can't beat the price) The service was amazing, the staff was super attentive and the decor is to die for super aesthetic vibes and ambiance. We sat outside but there were so many fans on us we barely felt the heat 100% recommend read more
This restaurant 10/10. The ambiance is so nice. Such a pretty vibe right on the water. We had the feature pasta- a black truffle pappardelle with steak or shrimp. Omggggg! If they have it when you go, you should definitely get it. The only ding I have is that the market price for the features wasn't mentioned, nor were the prices for cocktails on the menu. Came here on a Friday night with no reservation so we (party of 2) were told it'd be about an hour wait. Luckily, it wasn't that long but in the mean time we sat by the bar. That specific day they have a DJ that plays from 5 pm so it was a bit difficult to have a conversation as it was pretty loud. Nonetheless, upon arrival you see how beautiful the aesthetic is of the restaurant and the back story (shown on the menu) makes it even cuter! For my appetizer i got the Bruschetta which was good but very flimsy so I couldn't eat it with my hands bc it felt apart. My entree of choice was the Chicken Paillard which I got with a side of mashed potatoes instead of the side salad. It was ok, nothing to rave about. They do have the Miami Spice menu from Sunday-Thursday and also a lunch special in the week at certain hours. I'd definitely want to return in the day time to be able to appreciate the art on the walls better and have a nice scenic view (boats pass by frequently). Overall the location is conveniently located by a parking garage and other shops. I'd never been to river landings but it was easy to find and our server was very attentive. Celebrated a friend's birthday at Elia and it was fantastic! The restaurant is beautiful and is right next to the river where you get a beautiful view of the boats/yachts cruising by. There was also live music playing! Our server was wonderful and very helpful with explaining the specials. Our food and drinks came out fairly quickly and it was very delicious! Drinks: I tried the lychee martini which was fresh and delicious!! Food: Our table got an assortment of choices from their menu and they were all amazing! I got the seafood capellini and I loved it! It was creamy and buttery and the shrimp were cooked perfectly! The lamb chops looked so delicious and my friend was very happy with them! She thought they were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor! You can't go wrong with a Spicy Rigatoni and it was definitely enjoyed. Sometimes they can be a little spicy but my boyfriend mentioned it definitely had a kick and he really liked it more than other places! The Rustic Pizza looked so good with the burrata and I am definitely trying it next time but my friend said it was his favorite pizza that he has tried! Overall I will be coming back to try more food but my friend had a very nice time! We all enjoyed our food very much! read more

Such a great spot if you're looking for good vibes, good drinks, and solid service. We came for dinner and the riverfront view alone already sets the mood perfect for date night or a fun night out with friends. The drinks were really good (dangerously!!! ), and our server was attentive, which I always appreciate. Food was flavorful and well-presented. Overall, it felt relaxed but elevated at the same time. Definitely a place I'd come back to, especially for cocktails by the water. read more
Came back here again recently and they did not disappoint! The manager Ray took great care of us and the staff were all pleasant and delivered great service. The food was extremely fresh and we enjoyed all of the dishes (specifically the tuna tartare and seafood capellini were my fave). They had live music and dancers setting the vibe until late (it was a Saturday). read more

$56 for 2 Gin and tonics at 1pm is highway robbery ridiculous! Without better incentives this restaurant will flip to a new owner sooner than later. It's a shame as the decor is flowery and pretty. Additionally the restaurant being indoor/outdoors is very hot and muggy . They could do better with the air flow.. First time here and last time. Bring your own drinks and food in a Yeti and pick a shady bench outside on the River, wear a nice hat, and your experience will be 5 stars Elia on the River does not slap save your bag for a better place. read more

Ambiance is absolutely stunning. Truly one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. The tuna and salmon tartar was delicious and fresh, though we could have used more bread. Service was attentive, but our server was really pushy. When one of our vegetarian friends said she wanted the burrata without prosciutto, he tried to push her to get a greek salad instead (what?). People eat bread with burrata and tomato without prosciutto all the time, and it was weird to push her to get something completely different when that was what she wanted to eat. He did that with multiple people in our party when hearing their orders. All in all, we had a good time. read more
This was my first time trying this place. We went during brunch/lunch. It was about five of us. We had no reservations, but they were able to sit us down outside by the water where we could look at the boats. The waiter was very helpful. Gave us tips on what to order. The rigatoni was very well done and very flavorful. I enjoy the live performance of the violinist. this is a cute date day spot. I would love to try it out for dinner. read more

Tremendous atmosphere from the moment you walk in until you leave. Amazing view of the river to go along with live entertainment. The food was delicious, it is as if Italian and Greeks put a menu together. You can park for 2 hours for free in the garage. Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff. Nice menu variety with something for everyone! Our new go to spot! Take your Girlfriend, Wife and or Mother they won't be disappointed this time ! lol read more

I had a mixed experience at Elia Miami. I booked standard indoor seating, but upon arrival they initially tried to seat me at a high-top that was basically outside. When I mentioned this wasn't what I reserved, the host's response felt dismissive. I escalated the issue to the manager, and to her credit, she moved us as soon as a table opened -- I appreciated that. The ambiance was great, and while the food wasn't terrible, it was very underwhelming for the price. There are plenty of places in Miami where you can have a significantly better meal for about half the cost. The ribeye was easily the worst cut of meat I've ever had, and the rigatoni was mid at best -- and served cold. Dessert was also frustrating. We asked if they had affogatos, and our server said he could "make it happen." What we received was a single espresso shot with a small spoon of gelato -- not even a full scoop -- for $12. That felt excessive and honestly a bit insulting. Overall, great vibe, but the food quality and value don't match the hype or the prices. read more

What a great place! I went there for Mother's Day brunch. The place was super busy but the staff had everything running smooth. Our waitress was knowledgeable courteous and efficient. The ambiance was upbeat live band plays and DJ is in the scene too. The river view is great and the food was took. I recommend Elia on the River! read more
