Finally getting hot in this city, come to check this boba tea in Fremont, I think they remodeled the Restaurant recently. Really Nice service, cozy place and Green plant around. The boba are fresh. Great to spend sometimes in here. read more

Would highly recommend! The staff there were so friendly and kind. I ordered the beef pho and boba milk tea. It was really delicious and satisfied my craving for Vietnamese food. read more

I have nothing negative to say. It was pretty much an ideal pho experience. Great service, delicious food, lots of charm. And great COVID-19 protocol!! read more

I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious, well seasoned, and affordable. I was feeling extra hungry so I ordered the spicy chicken bahn mi, shrimp spring rolls, and beef pho. Everything I ate was fantastic! read more

Well it's about time we got something besides Thai in Fremont. Excellent Pho, at a reasonable fremont price. Do not come expecting International District authentic meat parts and low price, but they do a great tasting Pho regardless. Offering meat and veggie Pho with siracha red sauce on the table. Bonus points for including a tub of the sauce in our togo orders. At lunch this place will be packed but it is well worth either waiting for a table or getting it to go and eating across the street on the ship canal waterfront. read more

I love this spot! Their pho broth is my favorite in town. Super friendly atmosphere and speedy service.

Some of my favorite veggie pho in Seattle. They use lots of veggies which I love and their tofu is delicious!

My favorite pho place in Seattle. I've been here tons of time and the pho is always amazing. The staff here are extremely friendly and nice. I came back for the first time in months and they immediately recognized me and asked where I've been for so long. They even remembered my exact order. Love this place! read more

So Lucky's has had a change in management and I'm happy to say that it's a total turn around. I'd say that it's probably my favorite Pho place in the area now. I've had the Vermicelli Chicken Bowl. It was really good, the meat was well seasoned. There was lots of veggies and the Nouc Nam sauce a perfect addition. read more

We stopped in to warm up with some pho before getting on the bus to head back to West Seattle. The price was reasonable and the broth which makes the pho was really good. I would definitely go back to this place again the next time I visit Seattle. The only thing is wish they had was udon noodle. There is a place I like to go to where I leave in Hawaii and they let you choose your noodle for your pho and I love udon. So I wish more places would have that option. read more

Lucky's Pho - Vietnamese Near Me - Seattle, Washington

OH, happy day! Pho in Fremont? My life is complete. For years, I've hoped, wished and prayed for a pho place within easy lunchtime walking distance of the Fremont Bridge. Imagine my happy surprise when a friend remarked that a pho joint was going into the former Sonic Boom on Fremont Ave. Within hours, I investigated. The first signage indicated it would open March 4. The 4th came and went but no openings. I walked by the following Monday to see they were open for business, finally! I went a little early the next day, and was surprised by the line. Both sizes are a couple bucks more than most pho places around town (I paid just under 7 for the medium, but the large is under $2 more), but there are Fremont rents to consider. The most recent incarnation of this space sold frozen yogurt which still seems to be available but the cold weather's a bit frightful for that still. They will also be selling bahn mi and other Vietnamese sandwiches soon. The pho took five minutes to bring to the table after ordering. I ordered the #1 beef. The broth was well-balanced and all the ingredients were fresh -- basil, jalapeno, sprouts, limes. All the tables have the standard sides -- hoisin, chili garlic sauce, Sriracha -- for customization. Everything inside is shiny and new. I couldn't be happier. I'll be back for more. read more

I don't like pho. *gasp, the horror!* I know. I know. I just can't stomach the stuff though. Sadly for me, two of my roommates are obsessed with it. And both roommates have birthdays in the same month. So that means that I went to two different Pho places in one month. Brutal. So I'm pretty good at finding un-Pho items at a Pho-item place. For instance, at Lucky's they make vietnamese sandwiches. I'm not 100% sure what made it "vietnamese", but I suppose it was the hoison-y, mayonnaissee-y, beef-y goodness that laid inside that little toasted baguette. It was superb. Even my pho-slurping roommies enjoyed nibbling on it. read more

Amazing food and the kindest staff! They always remember me and are so gracious. Delicious pho with high quality ingredients, and really great boba tea. read more

I usually order veggie pho here. It is always fresh. The prices and portions are average, but the taste is better then most pho joints. The Bamh Mi sandwiches are also good. A bit more pricey than average, though. The bread is very fresh (& yummy) and they seem to have better portions than the average $2 deli banh mi. Service was okay, but I go for the YUMMY food. Atmosphere is cleanish, bussed tables and such, but super quiet. (They need music!) I definately think their pho is worth a try, friends agree. read more

I was more than a little disappointed that the fro-yo portion of the fro-yo-pho-sto had disappeared. Even so, I'm glad I stopped by. I had a tofu vietnamese sandwich and it wasn't half bad. Not the most authentic sammich I've ever eaten, but tasty, especially drizzled with some sriracha. My friend said the pho was good, but I can't really speak for him, you dig? Also, the fruit blends are really sweet and tasty. *sigh* If only the yogurt had been there to make a real smoothie... The ambience could use a little work. I almost felt like I was back in SoCal, in the Westminster ghetto of ethnic cuisine. I'm not sure I'd trek out to Fremont just for this place, but I might stop by if I was in the hood and hungry for some soup. read more

Now this is what we Asians call "Americanized Vietnamese Food." My husband and I just got into Seattle and needed something to eat. We came in here because it was the first thing we saw besides Starbucks (should've went there instead.) Their pho was oh so bland! Their banh mi was not a legit banh mi. It had the wrong chicken and veggies were not pickled. There were a lot of flies around. I was scared to even drink out of their cups for water =/ read more

This place was quick and simple. But I have had better. Although you can have a pork sandwich, two bowls of pho, and spring rolls for 20 bucks. So I won't complain. I will give it another shot but will skip the spring rolls next time... And no, I did not eat that all by myself. :) read more

If I could only follow the clues... they were all around.... telling us "Run!"..."Run!" Clue #1. The place was empty. Really empty. My reasoning was "oh well, its only 4pm, not everyone has pho this early" Clue #2. The menu was pinned to the wall and had 5 items on it. Beef. Chicken. Veggie. Beef with Meatballs. I have never seen a menu like that. I mean... its PHO we are talking about... they come in all funky meat and veggie variety!!! Clue #3. You had to pay for it first and eat later. I can totally see why. Nobody in their right mind would pay for that food later. If you really have to eat at this place, stick to veggie pho... the meat is of quite questionable quality and odor... I had two spoons. My friend had one. We left right after that. read more

We were really excited to have a pho place in Fremont and happy to give Lucky's a try, especially since my husband and I have been on a bit of a pho addiction lately. We ordered to veggie pho and that is all we ever do, so we had a good baseline. First, it was pricey, about two dollars more than other places on average. When you are talking about an average $4.00 meal, this is significant. It was $6.25 for there smallest size, the call it medium, but it is the equivalent of other place's smalls. For this extra price, I would expect you might be paying for a level of service, but it is almost completely self-serve. You order at the counter, are given a number and then go a get your own chopsticks, spoon, water, napkins and whatever else you may want. All of the above is nit-picky, if the pho were good. Unfortunately, it wasn't so great. The plus side was that there were tons of veggies. The down side is that the broth was really bland with a bit of a strange flavor. What makes a pho a pho is the broth, otherwise it is just noodle soup. read more

The pho is decent, but overpriced. The fresh rolls were meh, the peanut dipping sauce was disturbingly flavorless. What else is there to say? Bottom line - This joint wouldn't survive two days if an authentic, Vietnamese family-run pho place moved into the neighborhood, and I wish they would. read more

Our go-to spot for "better than Than Brothers"... the portions are a bit smaller but the quality is much higher. The meats, the broth, everything is just a step above Than Brothers. That being said, it's definitely not the best Pho I've had in Seattle... but seriously, that is a hard title to earn (held currently by Pho Viet Ahn on Lower QA). I usually don't get it, but the few times I've gotten the Chicken Pho here I've been really impressed. Unlike other "quicky pho" stops, the chicken is moist and flavorful! They also have some pretty awesome spring rolls... and the staff are always super sweet and friendly. Overall, A-OK and a half by my standards, but since we don't give half stars I'll go with 5. read more

This being one of my fav neighborhoods in Seattle, I've been by here several times but finally decided to give em a chance. I always get a small bowl of Pho' wherever I go, and this one was pretty big for a small :) . As with most vegetarian Pho's the broth isn't very developed, but this one was far better than the last place we had in the city (I've blocked the name from my memory). The addition of the spinach was a happy change from the norm. But no mushrooms :(. The tofu spring rolls were kinda sad; no flavor. But that won't deter me from returning. Any place I can eat a decent bowl of veggie pho' with Creep playing in the background is good to me. P.S. The place is super clean, really really nice as far as Fremont standards go. read more

I will classify this place as: 'a pho joint in Fremont that is cleaner than your average pho place and happens to come with a side of smoothie bar.' That about sums it up. The veggie had a nice variety of vegetables and goodies so that pleased me. There are no free cream puffs at this place. You gotta go to the dirty places for cream puffs. It's a definite trade-off: clean place with no cream puffs or sorta-shit hole with the cream puff loveliness.... it's your call! YOU DECIDE! read more

After all that giraffe feeding in the Woodland zoo, and standing for half an hour in awe, looking at two gay giraffes necking, under the rain, I was miserable, cold and starving for pho. You know, that whole self service and pay before you eat, is a very cagey thing they do. Next time I will get the hint right away. Why would you want to pay for that... mm, whatever that was. When I sniffed my pho, I was already suspicious. When I courageously had a spoon of "broth", or, again, whatever that was, I just left immediately, taking my wailing, starving, and deeply offended senses of smell and taste away from that horrid place. Those who managed to swallow more than a spoon of that, (whatever that was), oh, you poor, unlucky peeps! It sorrows me deeply, to hear that you've never ever ever, in your life, had good pho. Message me, it will be my honour intruducing you to the miraculous world of good pho. read more

Ray: Last night we opted for lighter fare and headed out to 35th and Fremont to dine at Lucky's Pho. At this point I really need to share a Pho story. A while back, when my now 14 year old granddaughter was around 8 years old, we were driving around looking for a place for lunch after a morning of lake fishing. We both agreed on Pho, but had not decided on a location. That's when she, in all her innocence, informed me that she had seen two Pho Kings on the way to the lake. OY!!! I told her that we should eat at Pho Saigon because the sign said it was authentic Vietnamese cuisine...oh brother! I suppose if Lucky's Pho were serving mongrel dog, we could say we ate Luck Pho Cur...but I have digressed so far I may not be able to recover. Lucky Pho was brightly painted on the outside with orange, yellow, red and blue. Very attractive to the eye. A hard to miss establishment. Right away I noticed something amiss. There was no beer. I didn't complain or cry though, I had water. I ordered beef pho, my favorite. The place was clean and nicely decorated in artwork that depicted Vietnamese culture. The Pho arrived very quickly and smelled fantastic. I have had Pho dozens of times and found Lucky Pho to be among the best! The broth was delightful, as were all the ingredients. I usually load my Pho with Sriracha sauce to make it nice and spicy. The only complaint I have is that I finished my water before my Pho was gone. I set the glass on the end of the table as a hint, but no dice. I guess there is a one glass limit... All in all, I would definitely visit the place again. I award three stars to Luck's Pho in Fremont! Josh: I'm currently in the throws of my first ever dietary cleanse. Normally, I eat whatever is in front of me with few exceptions. I'll spare you the details, but those eating habits have been creating turmoil in my lower digestive tract. So bring on the cleanse. Since my dad and I (Ray, whose review precedes mine) go out to eat at a different restaraunt every thursday, I had to choose a place that was going to be friendly to my needs while the dietary restrictions are in place. I'm not sure if I'd find my self in a place like "Lucky's Pho" otherwise. That being said, Lucky's Pho in Fremont was a favorable change of pace. I had the vegetarian pho (large size), that was served to the tablet in about four-and-a-half minutes from ordering. The serving size was more then enough, though I did eat the whole thing, including drinking the broth directly from the bowl. The dining room was large and clean, great for people-watching along Fremont Ave. I'd describe the ambiance of the place to be slightly understated urban modern with nice asian inspired art adorning the walls. It was delicious and practical, not trying to be more then it was. Given that I wouldn't normally frequent a place like Lucky's, I was still quite pleased with my meal and the service there. I'm going to go with 4 stars. read more

Best Pho in Fremont. Sometimes there's a line practically out the door at lunch. As you look around the dining room you despair at the possibility of getting a seat... but then by the time you order and pay a table usually opens up. Lucky's is efficient and has great pho. You know how some places have puddles of grease floating on top of the broth? Not Lucky's. They don't have my favorite pho tai (rare beef) but these days I actually like to get their veggie w/tofu and beef broth. I know--weird--I'm not a vegetarian but I like their beef broth and the variety of ingredients. They've got some sandwich options besides pho too. It's a solid option for lunch. read more

Its pho. Its simple. Its just plain that. The decor and menu is pretty basic and bare bones for those just looking for some simple pho. No fresh rolls or little additives are made here. Just the pho, plain and simple. I had the vegetarian pho with veggie based broth, as a vegetarian, I understand the issue of making sure no beef based items are snuck in. Overall, the pho is nothing spectacular but like that of eating just good homemade soup with lots of veggies and noodles. The prices here are pretty reasonable as well, with a small pho going for about $6.00. A quick and easy fill for the tummy. read more

I suppose I'm spoiled after years of living on the Ave and getting cheap, authentic pho, but Lucky simply fell flat for me. I ordered the beef pho. The broth was unexciting, and meatballs tough. Based on my extremely unpleasant digestive reaction, too, it must have been *loaded* with MSG. I looked around the restaurant as I was leaving for "No MSG" signs, but didn't see any... Normally MSG isn't a dealbreaker for me, but I may have to rethink that. The service was mediocre -- I got the impression our waiter could care less how he came off. read more

This place has violated the sacred code of pho. There is no creampuff. Wtf. Those things cost like 10 cents each at costco. The broth is lovely and the meat moist and tender. But this makes no difference. If you charge me over $6 for pho, then give me no cream puff, I throw my shoe at you. read more

Eh this place is okay. Location is good ... food ... was okay. I think my biggest gripe about this place is the lack of selection ... they only had 6 or 7 options of pho while most pho resturants have dozens if not more. They don't have anything "out there" ... no tripe or anything. Although I could see it being tailored more towards the americanized crowd. Also they serve frozen yogurt ... which some might say is a good thing but i'm of the camp that believes if you mix/try to do two different types of foods both turn out sub par. If i wanted froyo i'd go find a red mango or something. The sandwhiches are a bit pricey as well ... 4 dollars. They should be no more than 2.50. This place is clean though. read more

Not the best pho place. But the fact that you can choose small/medium/large pho definitely helps if you can't finish pho usually. I'd avoid the tendon(?) pho. Go for simple beef or meatball pho. Spring rolls are pretty good with very crispy lettuce! Simple and clean place for a quick warm meal in winter. Would go with a friend, not a date. read more

My favorite Pho. For 3 reasons. 1) great food. 2) it's the only Pho place I've ever been to that will give me both meat and veggies. I have no idea why that's such a problem for everyone else, but nobody else has ever done it for me. 3) the owners are behind the counter and go the extra mile to make you love your meal. You get to meet the people running the place, and that's important to me. read more

I am a real pho lover and I get it with the kitchen sink in sometimes (tendon, tripe, other meats) and I also like pho ga. I once made pho broth to use with leftover Thanksgiving turkey (YUM). Lucky's is...okay. I recommend it only if you are struck by a craving and are stuck in Fremont. There is something missing in the broth--it's just not complex enough. I have also tried the bun-style dish (way too many pickles, odd noodles, kind of bland) and the banh mi, which as other posters have said, is a little...off somehow. The shredded meat is okay. There does not seem to be a lot of quality control as far as portions from person to person. One day my banh mi will be loaded with jalapenos, the next day it will have two. It's kind of like the Subway of Vietnamese food, except more expensive than it should be for quality. If you need to go here, I think the banh mi is the best bet price and quality-wise. read more

I ran past this joint when it first opened and knew I HAD to try it! I'm a huge fan of pho and I'm glad to see one open in Fremont. I ordered the veggie pho and loved the variety of veggies! The only other pho place I know that puts that many veggies in their soup is Tic Tac pho in Greenwood. Lucky Pho had cabbage, spinach, carrots, onions, broccoli, snap peas...omg...so good! There wasn't much tofu though and I thought the broth was kind of bland. I mean, I know its vegetarian and all, but seriously? I really want to come back and ask for meat broth w/the veggie--I'm not a real vegetarian, I just like vegetables! The decor is cute and cheery although its totally obvious they were about to be a Moo Berry because they even have some of the fruit photos up that you see on Moo Berry walls. Among the collection of photos around the room are also a picture of lava (I think its moving even), skyscrapers and other random stuff thrown up. Not the best skills with the photography collection, but hey, its interesting and keeps you guessing! The service was good. The guys bringing out the hot steamy bowls seemed very new but also very happy to have their new business open. Basically I just wanted to tell them, "its ok, just put the bowl down and we can figure out where it goes. I also don't want you to drop that bowl on my cell phone..." But they didn't drop it and smiles abounded! I'll definitely be back! read more

I lived in Fremont for a year and didn't try this place until the boyfriend got food poisoning and couldn't keep down much more than broth. The bowl of chicken Pho was like an investment in his health-- he really perked up after having some and for the price it was really hearty. My only criticism was it could have used more chicken, but hey, you can always add some more. Who doesn't have frozen chicken in their fridge? The service was really quick and for $25 we got big, delicious spring rolls (definitely try the sauce!) 2 huge (like, 3 day size) helpings of Pho, and a Diet Coke for me. In Seattle, that's what we call economy! Perfect for a chilly, windy day in Fremont. read more

I only go here because there are no other pho options in the vicinity. Latest experience the broth was tepid, flavor not as refined as other places in town, got a meager stub of basil, and some funky smells were wafting. Honestly this place has really stepped up it's game since the first time I've been here. I constantly find myself back here ordering bubble tea, usually during the evening. It seem's like others have the same idea because if I don't get there early enough they run out of tapioca (bubbles)! I've found that the drinks don't have the same powdery taste I experienced that first time and they're quite delicious especially in the summer. The bubble tea doesn't have quite as strong of a tea taste as I'd like but also isn't too sweet. The sandwiches and pho are tasting significatly better too. The pho is more savory and the sandwiches are more juicy. All for such a low price! I'm slowly starting to become a regular here. This restaurant is in a great convenient location and I definitely recommend it to my friends. read more

I'm a veggie Pho eater - and this was a great bowl. Tons of big, fresh veggies. I mean to tell ya, the bowl was absolutely loaded with veg. I normally go to Than Bros, and the veggies here at Lucky's took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in comparison. Broth also had great flavor. AND to top off the hangover cure-- er, I mean *experience*-- they have fairly healthy yogurt smoothies. Random? Yes. Delicious? Mos Def. It might be a little weird in there. Or empty. Window seats are awesome. But there's no cream puff. =( In that regard, Than Bros gets their revenge. read more
