Boba fest special - charcoal roasted oolong milk tea with brown sugar crystal boba
    Diana C.

I think this is a really small business owned and staffed just by a couple who does all parts of the business. My hat is off to them for that. It's in the same space as Oh Bear Cafe, which I think is also their business. They were unfortunately out of vegetarian pho broth when we visited during boba fest but they did have banh mis and honestly that was even better with the weather. We also had their boba fest special drink and that was great too! Would definitely come back and try the pho some time.

One of the best pho restaurants I've had in Seattle, I typically don't like pho but this place blew my mind, the meat was very juicy and melted in my mouth. The noodles and broth were super flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend and I would come back.

We were attracted by the drink offerings posted as we walked by after viewing an apartment nearby. We had just eaten lunch but curious by the reviews to come back for dinner. I was surprised that there was not a line outside. We were greeted by a friendly welcome. We have eaten pho regularly in the bay area and this was one of the best. My fussy husband immediately said "the broth is good". He focused on his bowl of noodles and did not say another word throughout the meal. My son loved his gluten free pho. My other son slurped away, frequently blowing his nose after chomping on some of the jalapeño slices he added to his bowl. There was no after taste of dry mouth after the meal and we actually drank most of the broth in our bowls. It was our best meal so far this visit in Seattle. It was also the most affordable. Thank you Mr and Mrs Pudgy. We'll be back.

Pho Broth, noodles, and garnish all hit the spot. Will be coming back! Friendly staff, good service, and spotless.

Had the most amazing flavorful pho at the cafe. It's a cute cafe run by a sweet couple run cafe. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a pho. It's cute and my kids loved the place. We ordered the sandwich and tofu spring roll as well which were also good but the pho (soup) was the star!

    Great food

Great place 100 percent please come here and enjoy great people and good and great place to chill and hang

I came here on a whim and tried their pho... it was so good! i've tried so many different pho places all over washington and i feel like this one has the best pho here. it reminds me of my other favorite pho spot down in SD + similar to other phos i've had in vietnam‍ my new go to spot. other than that, the service was so kind and friendly. and the interior design is very cute

The ambiance is fun and inviting. We loved the shrimp spring rolls and the Pho is amazing! Fast and friendly service and lots of tea and coffee options.

Broth was great, noodles were tasty and not stuck together, the meat was thinly sliced so it didn't take away from the bite. No leftovers.

Today I came to Pudgy Pho, and honestly, it was so, so delicious. The couple who run the place are incredibly sweet, and you can really feel the warmth of this restaurant. The pho was amazing. I highly recommend the steak pho. I also absolutely loved the decoration and overall vibe. It's so cute and welcoming. Since they just opened, I truly hope their business keeps growing and doing well. I will definitely come back again. If you live near UW, I really recommend giving this place a try!

Very quick and friendly service! $15 for a big bowl of solid pho made my night. Love warm soup on a chilly night. Super cute interior too with the shared space with Oh Bear Cafe

We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

On my most recent visit, I also tried the black sesame bagel with butter. It was good, but there was a bit more butter than I would have preferred, and the standard toast wasn't quite crispy enough for my liking. That's an easy fix though, and I'll just ask for it toasted a bit longer and less butter next time. I really love the location of this spot and am hoping to check out their other location soon. They share a great outdoor seating area with Sea Wolf Bakers and also have a small amount of indoor seating. There's usually a line on weekday mornings and a longer one on weekends, but it moves surprisingly quickly, so the wait has never felt unreasonable. One thing I especially appreciate is how light these bagels are compared to some other Seattle bagel shops. They have a great chew without feeling overly dense. Service has always been friendly and efficient. I still haven't tried any of their fish sandwiches, but that's next on my list. Until then, I'm perfectly happy sticking with a classic sesame bagel and cream cheese.

The staff were super kind and friendly! I thought it would be a long line and sure enough, we beat the long lines! They did their pop-up at 1pm and surprised there was no line around 12:40pm so we were 4th/5th people in line. Whew! The line did grow behind us so it is popular! They had 4 flavors: - lavender lemon curd - taro mochi - pistachio sesame - passionfruit mango Out of all the flavors, the passionfruit mango was my fave! They weren't super sweet either and the texture from the taro mochi and pistachio sesame was unique! It wasn't just cream based like most donut/brioche places. They seem to rotate their flavors a lot on the season and such so it's not always the same flavors. Their Thai milk tea with sea salt cream was also a highlight! Not too sweet at all and the sea salt cream was perfect! I know they reside in Yakima now but it's always fun to see when they're back in Seattle! I can finally cross this off my list but when they're in town and I can make it, I'll definitely come back!

Oh, and a vodka lemonade - you can get cocktails delivered via DoorDash! Everything was super good, especially the chili cheese dog. They were really generous with the chili (a full cup of it) and it was delicious. The lemonade is made from scratch and I really enjoyed that, as well - not too sweet. When we did takeout, we each got a sandwich, and we also got a Chicago dog, "chum bucket" w/ tots, and a handful of cocktails. I'd had kind of a bad week and was basically like, I don't even care, let's just get whatever we want even if it's an insane amount of stuff, haha. They do single serving craft cocktails for takeout in little cans, which is pretty cool. And they were SO GOOD (all with very clever nautical-themed names). I think our favorite was the "No Ship Sherlock" seasonal Moscow mule. The Chicago dog was amazing - based on this and my previous chili cheese dog, I can say without hesitation that their hotdogs are 100% 10/10. The "chum bucket" tots were also really good, and again came with a very generous full cup of chili. I hate to say it because everything else was so good, but the sandwiches were pretty disappointing for the price, we both thought. I had a tuna sandwich and my bf had a veggie sandwich. They used fresh, quality ingredients, but both sandwiches were kind of bland, and a lot smaller than we were expecting for $14 apiece. That's the only reason I dropped a star, but aside from that, they are 5 star all the way. So, we would not revisit the sandwiches, but hotdogs and cocktails HELL YES YES YES!! Anything involving the chili is also highly recommended. And although I didn't really go into detail about it, chicken tenders were good, too (there were more in there than what the photo shows) - crispy and well-seasoned, and more than what I was expecting.
