Legit the best pho broth in Seattle besides like homemade of course and I've been eating pho all my life as a Vietnamese person. For these prices you have to go get a bowl! Only about $11 for the standard sized bowl filled with lots of meat, pho noodles, broth, and more. You can get up to an X-large bowl for only $2-3 more. You cannot beat this price for this quality in Seattle! Pho Vietnam is located in Ballard and is super underrated so I always tell my friends about it. They have been open for more than 25 years! It's owned by a lovely older Vietnamese couple. They are super nice people! I have been coming here for almost 2 years now. It is actually the first pho place my boyfriend tried and he loves it too. I usually order a small bowl #14 or #15 on the menu because it comes with all the different kinds of meats they offer. Definitely a cute hole in the wall that will satisfy your noodle soup craving!

Hair in my food. They don't include red chillis or sriracha. This blows. I would not go back their Thai iced tea also doesn't include any cream.

Owner doesn't do yelp, doesn't do delivery, doesnt sell out to trends, doesn't give a shit. The old world. The good world. Solid pho, fair price, keeping it simple. While everybody else is chasing a dopamine fix, distracting themselves from their mental illness, or flaring up from the pumped news topic, one should come here for peace, quiet and a good meal. Cell reception sucks here, it's perfect.

Wonderful family-run restaurant and delicious pho! I got the pho with meat balls which hit the spot. Friendly and speedy service, spacious indoor space, and really good prices/portions. Definitely a local favorite, be sure to check them out!

Stopped by this place for a quick lunch at around 11:30 and the place started filling up around noon. It is located on a busy street but there are limited parking spots available in the back so super convenient! As soon as we sat down, we were able to put our order in and I swear the food came out within 5 mins of ordering. Spring rolls were pre made and put in the fridge before serving. Noodles inside were a bit hard and the lettuce didn't taste very fresh and wish I knew it didn't come with peanut sauce. For pho, we ordered two pho w brisket (L). Portion was very generous and price was reasonable compared to other seattle pho restaurants. Pho itself was good, but the sprouts, jalapeños, and basil she brought out on a separate plate were not fresh and looked like they were going bad (sprouts were brown, basil and jalapeños had some dark spots on them). I was not impressed with the quality of vegetables but pho itself was pretty good

I really loved this place. Simple pho that has delicious broth and they don't skimp on the meat. The prices are comparable if not better than other pho spots in Seattle which will definitely keep me coming back. The egg rolls came out very hot out of the fryer and tasted so good. Next time I'll get a drink too they're very affordable! Not much English spoken but that doesn't change the experience :) also no Amex accepted FYI

Absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the phos, they give a decent pile of beef slices and the broth is delicious. I always come out of a pho meal feeling light and refreshed. There are complimentary bean sprouts, thai basil, and lime slices. If you're debating whether to get the thai tea, GET IT. They do not skimp on the tea, it is very strong and comes with a dollop of sweet cream. Love this place and the owners are so kind!

The small is large ... the large is huge ... the extra large will feed a crowd. This is top notch tasty Pho.

I was so happy that this restaurant offers a good deal compared to other pho restaurants and they have a lot of various meats for pho. I was also surprised when I saw raw eye round steak to go at first lol Don't worry, they put the raw meat for you to enjoy the chewy:) Just be careful with the heating time otherwise it would be hard textures! The taste was amazing and although it was a small bowl, I felt very full from it! Enjoy their food.

My cocktail was a pho broth washed shot of Jameson and it came with a pho broth chaser. Hope I got that right but I almost don't wanna drink Jameson any other way now. It looked packed but I think a lot of people were at the larger pho Bac sup shop (which is associated w The Boat, but The Boat had plenty of seating at 6:30 on a Sunday night. I think what I appreciated most was the service- we had a person who seated us and answered questions about the menu- my partner has some preferences and shared them with the first server but then the second server came by and already knew what my partner had shared with the first server. It's a bit pricey for the portions, but overall we enjoyed our meal and I really liked trying dishes beyond the typical spring roll/pho/rice place. The custard duck egg is an excellent starter, with a rich, savory broth that delivers a deep, yolky umami punch. The rau ram oil and herb is such a creative twist that adds the perfect herbal dimension. The radicchio pudding was light and offered a clean, almost grassy brightness without being overwhelming in flavors. Great option for any vegans at the table. The wagyu beef tallow fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. Ultra-crispy, perfectly thick-cut, and deeply flavorful with beef notes shining through, without being too heavy. Like many of the dishes here, perfectly balanced in flavor. The grilled eggplant with whipped tofu and crispy sun chokes was another standout. The tofu whip was so smooth and should be considered a worthy sub for mayo. The eggplant was soft, creamy, and perfectly charred. The garlic rice was incredibly savory and maybe my favorite version of it yet. Packed with the perfect depth of garlicky flavor and seasoning. Finally for dessert - I thought the durian fruit cup was decent, it's great for durian lovers but next time I will be back to try their other desserts. The hollow bread is a must-try. It's fried to perfection, the inside is steamy and the butter it comes with is perfect but the bread alone is so good that it doesn't need it. The perfect touch of roasted sesame. Slightly sweet, it's a delight in textures and perfect in cold weather. The oyster on half shell in happy hour is also a great standard oyster, very fresh, with a nuanced Viet twist in the sauces. Vegetable dip is pretty standard and also delicious, great if you're looking for a healthy starter. Coffee rubbed ribs were fantastic as well and an incredible deal for the size. Easy to eat and flavorful on its own but dipping it with Chinsu added spice and more flavor. Bot Chien had a crisp to it and egg was cooked well. You have to dip it in the fish sauce or else there is no flavor. Just something minor but I wish the pickled veggies were more separated. It had the cut lines but not fully cut so you had to separate it yourself. The com tam was alright. All of the components you would usually get for a broken rice dish. The meatloaf was really good. The pork on the other hand was a bit too salty for my liking. And you only get one thin piece... soup on the side was good and was a good way to cleanse the palette. Overall good modern/fancy spin on Vietnamese food but overpriced. Would probably be nice to go during dinner time for some drinks as the ambience seemed better for night time. Good amount of seating. Street parking around the area was easy to find.
