Pork vermicelli bowl
Maxine L.

Small unassuming Vietnamese place in interbay, ran by 2 cute old uncles. Dropped by for a weekend lunch. I ordered a pork vermicelli bowl at the counter and sat ourselves. Tea and water was self service which was nice. The food came out super quick, with aaaaample fish sauce, which I loved. The amount of meat is also crazy. For $10. Amazing. And the pork was super yummy. Standard other toppings like pickled carrots and radish, lettuce, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. I would've like a bit more vegetables, but still good. My main problem was the noodles :c the texture was super off, kinda like they had been sitting out to dry for many many hours. Some noodles were hard and inedible while the rest were just kinda crunchy. Not the texture you'd usually get from rice noodles. Overall, okay. The portions for price is really good, and the proteins are done pretty well. But messing up the noodles? hopefully it's a one time mess up.

Brisket and steak pho and gyoza

I love this place, I come often for my lunch break, and the owner is so kind and interested in his customers. He's offered me free gyoza with my pho when I'm the first customer of the day (:

It was decent $7.50

I was so excited to try this place the other afternoon. After reading the great reviews, but I found the place just to be just average. Their pho broth was a little off I thought, it didn't have the usual flavor of the soup. I ordered the chicken egg rolls and was expecting them Vietnamese style, with lettuce and pickled dakon and carrots and fish sauce. What I got was deep fried Americanized Chinese egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce. A bowl was $7.50, so pricier than the average bowl of pho I am used too, but I see that as a trend here in Seattle, pho is a little more expensive here. Thumbs up for a self serve veggie side dish bar though. You get your own bean sprouts, limes, chili, and what not. Could've been better, but the service was friendly and parking is easy.

Great neighborhood pho place. Some of the best broth I have had. Tons of parking right out front. Makes it a great spot for a quick dinner pick-up

Rare beef and brisket pho with bean sprouts, lime, sriracha sauce and hoisin.

Just because the name of a self proclaimed vietnamese noodle soup joint contains 'pho' in the title, does not necessarily mean they have good pho. And in most cases, the silly play on words for the restaurant name makes it hard for me to take them seriously, and me question their legitimacy. All I ask for, especially when I have a cold, is some comfort food.... a pipping hot bowl of pho. I want tasty broth, good cuts of meat (rare steak and/or brisket), and fresh crisp toppings. I hate cheating on my favorite pho spots, but Time 4 Pho delivered all these things and I will definitely be back. No weird pho additions, just pho, just right. My regular sized bowl of pho was enormous. Filled to the top with slices of red rare meat and brisket on top of a bed of noodles. I love their self serve topping bar, load up on all the toppings you want! (which i did without wasting any). I don't see any downside to this place. Good pho, good location, generous portions.

My cocktail was a pho broth washed shot of Jameson and it came with a pho broth chaser. Hope I got that right but I almost don't wanna drink Jameson any other way now. The parking lot was packed but there's a paid parking lot around corner so no problem. It looked packed but I think a lot of people were at the larger pho Bac sup shop (which is associated w The Boat, but The Boat had plenty of seating at 6:30 on a Sunday night. I think what I appreciated most was the service- we had a person who seated us and answered questions about the menu- my partner has some preferences and shared them with the first server but then the second server came by and already knew what my partner had shared with the first server. That's real dedication. Definitely coming back.

Genuinely surprised that I would enjoy this place so much because I came here thinking, "well this…read moreis just rice and chicken, so what could make this place so special?" I was left with a pleasant surprise and understanding of the hype of this place, because the chicken was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I got "com ga" which translates to "chicken and rice." This place only really serves like three dish on their menu, with a rotating choice of base from noodles to rice. The place is right next to their sister location, Pho bar, and share a parking space. It is nice and clean on the inside, and like the name the restaurant is shape like a boat! So far I have been here twice and would definitely come back for a warm meal. The staff were helpful and pleasant! It was roughly a 30 minute wait for the food, but that is to be expected considering this is not a fast-food Restaurant (:

A great variety of viet dishes you may not be able to find elsewhere!…read more My partner and I chose this place because we were craving soup to help with the cold. We ended up choosing a place close and were not disappointed at all. This restaurant is located off a busy street but it luckily offers a parking lot which can be hard to come by in Seattle. Because we came on the earlier side, we were seated quite quickly :) The space is pretty large so I don't think I would worry about a wait on a weekday. We were very impressed by the options provided. I usually don't find Bun Bo Hue on the menu often which is what my partner ended up ordering. I ordered the Bun rieu which is even harder to come by. We also ordered the crispy butter garlic wings to share which was a perfect choice. The service was very fast and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our stuff came out after placing our order. The portions were also HUGE and we both had enough to take home for a second meal. The Bun rieu was super tomatoey and had a rich flavor which the crab. My mom makes Bun rieu at home and I was very much happy with this bowl too, reminded me a lot of how my mom makes it! The Bun Bo Hue was not super spicy but we appreciated being able to customize. The garlic wings were SOOOO good. So crispy and seasoned so well, we would 100% get these again they were so good. We left very full, warm, and satisfied with this pick. We likely will be back in the near future!

Incredible restaurant (and a fantastic happy hour). Unlike a lot of hybrid renditions of Asian…read morerestaurants, everything here feels thoughtful, intentional and is truly delicious. The custard duck egg is an excellent starter, with a rich, savory broth that delivers a deep, yolky umami punch. The rau ram oil and herb is such a creative twist that adds the perfect herbal dimension. The radicchio pudding was light and offered a clean, almost grassy brightness without being overwhelming in flavors. Great option for any vegans at the table. The wagyu beef tallow fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. Ultra-crispy, perfectly thick-cut, and deeply flavorful with beef notes shining through, without being too heavy. Like many of the dishes here, perfectly balanced in flavor. The grilled eggplant with whipped tofu and crispy sun chokes was another standout. The tofu whip was so smooth and should be considered a worthy sub for mayo. The eggplant was soft, creamy, and perfectly charred. The garlic rice was incredibly savory and maybe my favorite version of it yet. Packed with the perfect depth of garlicky flavor and seasoning. Finally for dessert - I thought the durian fruit cup was decent, it's great for durian lovers but next time I will be back to try their other desserts. The hollow bread is a must-try. It's fried to perfection, the inside is steamy and the butter it comes with is perfect but the bread alone is so good that it doesn't need it. The perfect touch of roasted sesame. Slightly sweet, it's a delight in textures and perfect in cold weather. The oyster on half shell in happy hour is also a great standard oyster, very fresh, with a nuanced Viet twist in the sauces. Vegetable dip is pretty standard and also delicious, great if you're looking for a healthy starter. Coffee rubbed ribs were fantastic as well and an incredible deal for the size. Very savory, a little sticky sweet, but not too much. Service was also friendly and the food came out in a reasonable time. One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle, and had fun chatting with regulars next to our table too.

Went during brunch time…read more Favorite dish was the Salmon Croque Madam. It was a banh mi sandwich with salmon flakes(?) topped off with an egg with a side of arugula. Easy to eat and flavorful on its own but dipping it with Chinsu added spice and more flavor. Bot Chien had a crisp to it and egg was cooked well. You have to dip it in the fish sauce or else there is no flavor. Just something minor but I wish the pickled veggies were more separated. It had the cut lines but not fully cut so you had to separate it yourself. The com tam was alright. All of the components you would usually get for a broken rice dish. The meatloaf was really good. The pork on the other hand was a bit too salty for my liking. And you only get one thin piece... soup on the side was good and was a good way to cleanse the palette. Overall good modern/fancy spin on Vietnamese food but overpriced. Would probably be nice to go during dinner time for some drinks as the ambience seemed better for night time. Good amount of seating. Street parking around the area was easy to find.
