When you first walk in the restaurant/bar area is dark; I selected patio seating and was glad that I did because it was much brighter on the patio - also, it is heated but I was still a little chilly but not uncomfortable. For a starter, we had the crab dip - this was good; it was cheesy and had good hints of crab meat; our entrees were Sautéed Salmon and Lamb Birria Ramen - the presentation of both dishes was good but the flavor was underwhelming for me (and my nephew) and even though I asked for my salmon to be cooked well, it was slightly undercooked... We did enjoy our drinks - he had a Millionaire Capri Sun and I had You Only Live Twice. If I return, it will only be for appetizers and drinks. The service was really good and the overall atmosphere was good also.

Some kinda garlic, parm dipping sauce. Very delicious. We got N/A drinks that were super and came with semi translucent plastic mermaids. A real plus. We got the $50 for two double date which works out pretty well. 1 starter, two entrees and a dessert. There was another option where you could get wine instead if desert. A good deal I think. So we got the whipped feta dip to start. Very good. Then I got a super crunch salad with chicken that was super delicious. Only thing is I can still taste that the food was pretty salty. So now we get to the bad part. The reason I can only give it 3 stars. There was no one there. The place was practically empty and still it took forever to get our food. Even after brushing my teeth and a few hours later. 6:40ish we sit down. We had no where to be. So we didn't mind waiting to have our order taken. That took idk let's say 10 minutes to be charitable. Then another 10 and we got bread. Still no drinks. Probably another 10 before we got our drinks. Then we got another bread. Fast forward 10-15 we get our starter. Finished that. A while later we got the food. Rewind somewhere back during the ordering process we were supposed to get a desert menu. The new menu doesn't have deserts and we got that deal that includes it. So finally we are like can we get that desert menu? We get it and just ask for it to go right away. I can't sit here anymore. It's a a 20 minute drive and we got home at 8:31. Again we didn't have anywhere to be but it is a school night ya know. But yeah I'd go here again. I'd just make it a Saturday.

The first time I walked into the restaurant to order takeout - I ordered fish tacos and loaded nachos with chicken... The cashier was pleasant and helpful... I paid for my food then sat and waited for what seemed like 5 mins, I think, but definitely not more than 10 minutes... When I opened my food and hubby opened his, we were pleased with the presentation AND the taste matched! I didn't try his fish tacos but he did comment on how good they were (and he ordered them on our second visit); my loaded nachos were amazing and what I loved most is that while there are a lot of fixings on the nachos, they did not get soggy - it was the perfect amount of fixings and the flavor was perfection! And my appetite was satiated after...The chicken was thinly sliced but not too thin, all of the ingredients married together for an excellent fiesta of goodness! I was highly satisfied. The second time that I ordered from here hubby ordered fish tacos (again) and I had chicken tacos and a side order of tortilla chips and salsa. Everything tasted fresh and delicious again! This may be my new fave "go to" when I'm undecided on what to eat. I can't speak to dining in as both times I had take out however, from what I experienced when I did walk in, the atmosphere was upbeat and relaxed and the restaurant appeared clean from what I saw.

We were greeted by a friendly server before we even stepped inside. The host station is right inside and we were welcomed warmly once again. They offered us our choice of inside/outside seating. Being our first time there we wanted to see the interior. I mentioned this and they gave us a great table upstairs overlooking the restaurant. The store is decorated with a lot of Italian transportation...small cars and Vespas. I loved the high ceilings, and the upper level seating. They also have a huge TV on the wall, and decorated for the 2026 World Cup, despite Italy not qualifying! Our server, Alex, was very personable despite being busy with a large bday gathering and several other tables. He made us feel welcome as he went over the specials and took our orders. I got the chicken Parmesan which is my goto litmus test, while my date got the beet salad with grilled chicken. The food arrived promptly and looked and tasted delicious. My chicken parm was yummy, crispy chicken with melted cheese over delicious spaghetti! The beet salad was also well received. We saw several tables getting some delicious bread and asked for a basket. I thought it may be complimentary however it was 8$ a basket. They make it in house and drizzle it with olive oil. Served with some fresh rosemary and soft butter, it was delicious and well worth the price, just don't fill up on it! We were pressed for time so turned down their house made gelato, however we passed the gelato station on the way out and regretted this decision, it looked amazing! I mentioned to Alex that my entree was delicious but what set the restaurant apart was the service and atmosphere. It was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Some Italian places can be a bit on the cool/formal side so this was a nice change. Stop in and check it out, save some room for that bread and the gelato!

The service was very good: attentive and friendly. The ambiance is similar to Not Your Average Joe's in Ardmore with the upstairs/balcony seating and downstairs and big screen TV showing sports, but much noisier, especially as the upstairs also was filled with guests. By the time we left at 7:45pm after a 6:45pm reservation, it was loud enough that we had to fairly shout at each other to continue our conversation. The food was okay, except the salad which was excellent, but not worth returning for just the salad. - beet salad - 4.5/5, plentiful small diced red and yellow beets, avocado, arugula, a light dressing and burrato with crushed pistachios. a very solid starter salad and the server kindly split a large order into two small plates for us to share - fried calamari - 3/5, having just eaten at Estia last night which has a very good fried calamari, this one was not breaded as consistently and some of the pieces were a tad on the large side for a reasonable bite and too chewy to be cut with the fork or knife. - penne puttanesca - 3/5, my husband ordered this and while he not a self-proclaimed foodie, for him to say it was just okay means it was really just okay - linguine vongole - 3/5, points for the very plentiful offering of clams, i counted probably 20 generously sized clams (sometimes you get miniscule clams with this dish), but overall the sauce was too salty and there's not much you can do to fix that, and the linguine was a bit overcooked, definitely not even close to al dente We skipped dessert as by that point our ears were starting to ring with the high decibels coming from around us on the balcony and the floor below. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time so maybe it's just not for us.

Very busy house on a Saturday night and oddly but graciously quieter than many steakhouse environs. Service is good, as should be expected with this type of "pricier" option. Plates for "finished" diners cleared before all diners were through, which is understandable but not practiced in some higher end places. Steaks are truly cooked to requested temperatures, medium, medium rare, perfect and not as common as portrayed. The octopus appetizer is really well done. The halibut special was presented nicely and was delicate and flavorful all at once. Our server apparently makes the cappuccino herself and was quite proud of her skill and was really a nice touch.

It was a Friday around 5:30 and we had no trouble getting a table, although by the time we left, it was getting crowded. We started with the Potstickers (fried dumplings) - they offer chicken and vegetable - we got the chicken. They were delicious- there was a nice crispy sear on one side from the pan fry, yet the dumpling was tender and the chicken filling was flavorful. Our first entree was the Jing Jiang Dish - sliced beef sautéed in a sweet bean sauce and topped with shredded scallions. The beef was tender and the bean sauce, which tasted like teriyaki, was very good. Our second entree was the star of the dinner - Honey Pine Nut Shrimp, which was fried shrimp tossed in a homemade cream sauce with red and green bell peppers. It was excellent! Large, tender shrimp - with a light fried coating were amazing. The cream sauce was luscious - I would never have thought a mayonnaise based sauce with honey and cream would work with shrimp - it was outstanding. DanDan has primarily spicy dishes, but there are several items on the menu with light or no spice for those who prefer not to have it. We will definitely be returning to DanDan for the Shrimp and try a few more dishes

Fast forward to this latest visit home. I finally secured a reservation...but then late yesterday afternoon my mom's knee started acting up to the point where she could barely stand on it. Fortunately, ice, Advil and rest overnight--and my mom really, really wanting to come here--kept us on track, and tonight I finally made it. It's a cozy spot, and I can see it making an excellent date night, especially since the BYOB setup allows you to bring the wine of your choice (and save some $$). We were seated promptly--this Sunday was relatively mellow--and the servers were super accommodating about removing a chair so that my mom's walker could occupy the unused space on our four-top. The menu is what I call right-sized. It may seem smallish, but there is a strategic assortment of salads and apps, pastas and mains (and, of course, desserts) that is sure to accommodate everyone. Dean, the young man who would go on to do an outstanding job taking care of us for the night (with the other two servers chipping in seamlessly as needed), went through the specials. My mom was particularly intrigued by a squid-ink fettucine with lobster and shrimp (and cherry tomatoes) in a saffron cream sauce. Could we split it as an app, we asked? Would it be too much food? On Dean's advice, we went ahead, while my dad got the mussels. All three of us ordered the pork chop, which my parents have been raving about for a couple years now. How could I not try it? Ordering finished, bread and olive oil (with a bit of balsamic) arrived at the table. Knowing I had a pasta coming and that the pork chop was a good-sized portion, I didn't want to overdo it, which I think was ultimately a good choice. The bread took the edge off, and then the pasta arrived. It was just the right amount for two people to share as an app, and we both enjoyed it, while my dad loved his mussels (and then dunked lots of his bread in it). Then came the main event. The pork chop lived up to (and frankly, exceeded) the hype. It was tender and perfectly cooked and oh-so-flavorful. Definitely one of the best I've ever eaten, and this isn't my first pork-chop rodeo. It was accompanied by asparagus and yummy baby Yukon Gold potatoes; I left a view of the latter, not because they weren't yummy but rather because the pork chop was huge and I was not skipping dessert. For dessert, I went with the house-made cannoli, which was a lovely, sweet (but not oversweet) ending to an excellent meal. I'd be happy to come back to Burrata anytime.

The staff was great. They were attentive and sweet. The sushi chefs were absolutely amazing. I was taking a little video of the set up when the one chef said "hi, Instagram!" and they all perked up and smiled and waved. We ordered the papaya salad and tom yum for appetiser. It could have been much more spicy as we were expecting with authentic Thai food. For mains, we got the sashimi deluxe for two and the spider (soft shell crab) roll. The sashimi was chosen by the chefs and we definitely had our faves (basically everything from the middle). Next time we will order individual hand rolls/nigiri of the ones we liked. Taste-wise, I would say it's 3/5. The staff was sweet and for me the star of the show--the people made it 5/5. And for this overall I give it a 4/5.
