We visited Autograph Brasserie for their happy hour. Really great old school ambiance on the inside with records on the wall, bar in the middle, and a giant fireplace, giving it a very cozy vibe. We ordered the Halle Berry Hallelujah, whipped ricotta, truffle French fries, oysters, mussels, and sundae profiteroles for dessert. Everything was soo good! I loved how my drink had a slight kick to it. The whipped ricotta was super creamy and the sauce for the mussels was super flavorful. I highly recommend the sundae. I made reservations. We are absolutely receive the warmest welcome. As soon as you walk in, you're really entering an experience . The ambience . It's the biggest feeling! It's like you walked into your childhood dream. So many photos of Pop culture most iconic stars. In one nook in the stairway and loos there are hundreds of autographed photos. In the bar area there are framed records and oodles of violins and double bass wall display and whimsical trumpet lighting fixtures . Then there are ultra charmingly, cozy booths that feature a large frame photo of one of Hollywood's biggest icons. Then a bright and open room , oodles of tables and exceedingly large photos of some of Hollywood's proper silver screen elite! And finally a large room, dimly lit , plushed velvety tapestry backed furniture with political caricature art decor. The service was fantastic. Lots and lots of staff. I ordered the salmon with pea purée and wild mushrooms. My bff ordered beef bourguignon. Everything was so exceedingly flavorful, fresh and divine. We split a crème brûlée for dessert . I've always loved this restaurant, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Unfortunately, it feels like it has gone significantly downhill. Overall Experience We arrived to an almost empty restaurant, so it was immediately off-putting when the host acted as though finding us a table would be difficult and said she needed to check with her manager. We were eventually seated in a booth in the bar area where we have sat many times before. There were only about three occupied tables in the bar area and four people sitting at the bar, yet our drinks still took almost 15 minutes to arrive. We were there to celebrate my son's eighth birthday, but by the end of the meal we were so uncomfortable and frustrated that we didn't even stay for cake. Ambience & Service It was cold and rainy outside, around 58 degrees, yet the restaurant was aggressively running the air conditioning. All of us were freezing throughout the meal. It made what should have been a cozy birthday dinner genuinely uncomfortable. Service also lacked attention to basic details. When our entrées arrived, none of the bread plates, used silverware, or empty dishes were cleared. There wasn't even bread left on the table, yet we were essentially playing Jenga with dirty plates while trying to eat our entrées. Food The specials were another early warning sign. The seasonal soup was a watermelon gazpacho, which struck me as an odd choice for late September when watermelon and summer peppers are no longer at their peak. It didn't exactly inspire confidence that the seasonal menu was focused on what was freshest. The warm bread was perfectly fine, but unfortunately things went downhill from there. My husband ordered the steak, and the quality simply did not come close to matching the price of almost $70. It was extremely fatty, thin and chewy. I ordered the approximately $40 stuffed spinach chicken, and as soon as I cut into it and took a bite, it appeared that the chicken had been previously frozen and had not been fully defrosted before cooking. I had to send the entire entrée back. By the time my replacement arrived, my husband and son were nearly finished eating. While I waited, I was given a very small ramekin-sized portion of lobster bisque. Given how significant and embarrassing the issue was with my entrée, I was surprised they didn't simply offer a normal cup of soup. I later ordered a beer and was told that the beer would be complimentary. That was also a strange response to the situation. I had already ordered a nice glass of wine, and considering the problem was a $40 entrée that had to be sent back, comping a beer felt disconnected from what had actually gone wrong. This used to be a restaurant we really enjoyed, so I don't write this lightly. But between the nearly empty dining room, slow drinks, uncomfortable temperature, lack of table maintenance, disappointing steak, and an entrée that had to be returned, the quality and attention to detail simply did not resemble the restaurant we remembered. There are so many great restaurants in the area so I won't be coming back here because frankly it's overpriced and the food is proven to not be fresh. read more

Fabulous meal all around! Started at the bar and had an espresso martini. It was delicious and had a nice foam on top, not to mention the quintessential 3 beans. My friend and I decided we wanted to sit at a table for dinner. The staff was very nice and we had a delicious meal from start to finish. Our server, Jessica was amazing. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. We ordered duck croquettes, lobster cavatelli, beef bourguignon, as well as some non alcoholic drinks. I would happily return! Worst experience in a few decades!!! First clue, parking lot almost empty on a Sunday. Next clue, hair on the recently thawed croissant. The shrimp cocktail sauce was basically ketchup and we were lucky enough to have ordered a side of horseradish so we could 'fix' it Eggs Benedict had a layer of limp spinach that wasn't mentioned on the description, the 'Canadian Bacon' was paper-thin lunch meat that I could see the spinach through, the English muffin was leathery and the hollandaise wasn't there. The 'Autograph' burger ( was cold, the bun was slathered in grease, the cheese hadn't even melted. If I had a budget that allowed only one meal out every month, I'd be livid that my one time out was destroyed by a chef who has clearly given up and should be fired so he/she can find something more suitable to do, something that doesn't matter to anybody else. read more

Aesthetically, this place was very nice. I liked the room where I was sat, but I started off pretty badly and it just didn't get better. For whatever reason I was sat with an exterior door 6 feet behind me. Before I even met the server, three sets of people walked in and out, slamming the door as they went. My first interaction with the server was "I'm moving tables, it's ridiculous that they sat someone here." She apologized, but said they didn't normally use that door but were tonight. Fine, then don't use the table I was given that evening. The service was ok but not amazing, presumably because I was eating solo and the bill wasn't going to be more than $100 with tip and there were other tables with 2, 3, or 4 people around me. The food was similarly "ok", but not memorable. The only real issue I had was the Tuna Tartare which more olives than tuna, but I wouldn't order it or the burger again. Overall, the entire experience was "meh" and it reminded me a LOT of White Dog, which I later found out was owned by the same people. Problem is, I've had the same experience with them. My experience here was in a private room, for an intimate bday gathering. The room was lovely, it was dimly lit, and decorated with pics of old Hollywood actresses and the decor also had a touch of rustic charm - a very lovely space. The menu was prix fixe however before dinner was served, there were hors d'oeuvres. There was so much offered I can't name it all but all of the food was served fresh and flavorful. I took my partner here to celebrate Valentine's Day. We started our meal with a Kir Royal. I also had a good Old Fashioned made with Angels Envy. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time. I've driven past it many times but never visited. Today I decided it was time for me to make a reservation and check out the eats. The decor was a surprise but in a nice way. There were photos of old time movie stars everywhere. The framed photos were elegant and classy. I was seated in a room decorated like an outdoor courtyard. There was a faux tree under a huge skylight which made you feel as if you were outdoors having a meal in a courtyard. The food was delicious. The whipped ricotta paired nicely with my glass of wine as an appetizer. Dinner was a beautiful piece of swordfish resting on top of a chilled couscous salad. I did order a side of asparagus which paired nicely with the meal. That was not planned. I just like asparagus. The asparagus was grilled and seasoned with parmesan and spices. Lastly I did have dessert, Hummingbird cake. The cake felt appropriate since I was sitting in a room with a faux tree. The service was good. I did not wait much time between courses. The servers were attentive to my needs and provided recommendations for dishes. My server recommended the swordfish and cake. Both were excellent choices. The decor on its own is five stars. We took my father in law here for Father's Day. The outside looks lavish AF. The inside is full of serine memorabilia. I can't get over the look of the place. This is the same owners as the white dog and we love that place too. So we started with the cornbread and strawberry jelly. That was really good. For our main courses I got the autograph omelet and my wife got the lump crab Benedict. I got part of that when she got full. Both were very good. Our server was very friendly and funny. I would forego the bisque next time around. The octopus app tasted good. This place was... okay! First off the decor was super fun and cute. As a seafood enthusiast, I came for the tuna tartare (it's my love language). While it looked amazing on a plate, it was missing that punch of flavor... maybe a drizzle of ponzu or some ginger powder would've taken it up a notch. Got the salmon dish and some sushi as an appetizer. Our eyes are the first to taste the dish and the food did it justice. They looked well served and appetizing. Once I took a bite though, realized I overhyped it in my head. They were good but not great. Bland is the word I would choose as the salmon lacked seasoning. Sushi is actually REALLY good. The lobster bisque is supposed to be creamy , tasty and rich , it was none of these, seems they dipped a lobster in dish water added a few sad shrimp in the bowl, poured watery sauce over it and forgot to heat it. Eggs Benedict were still raw and slimy egg whites were not appealing. Hash browns could use some love, maybe a little seasoning and not so BROWNED close to tasting burnt . I had a chance to visit this restaurant during the week with coworkers. The ambience of the restaurant is really nice. They encourage you to walk around and see the different pictures that they have hanging on the walls and the different sections of the restaurant. The restaurant has an bistro style with, a dated purposely decor. Our server was really friendly. They took good care of us. My party was of five, and we had the opportunity to try quite a few different appetizers from their menu which the server said had just been updated. We loved the thick, sliced bacon and the sushi. For my main course for dinner I had the mussels. This was the low point of the meal. Not that the mussels were not good but they were covered with onions. The onions did not have a ton of flavor. Also, the broth that the mussels were cooked in did not have a ton of flavor either. The truffle fries that came with the mussels were delicious. I came here for the first time taking out of town work colleagues to dinner. I saw the menu and the Yelp reviews so I chose this place for our dinner. First off the restaurant is beautifully decorated. There are autographed photos of celebrities everywhere. It was classy and elegant. We sat in the back dining room and was greeted by the staff. The staff was very pleasant and took the time to address our questions and make suggestions. We all ordered rounds of drinks and different appetizers. The best were: shrimp cocktails (huge shrimp and very fresh), the BACON (more like pork belly loved the salt/sweet sauce that came with it) and the duck confit (tender fall off the bone meat) For entrees I got the steak and fries cooked medium rare. The steak came out a little bland. I think it def. Needed more seasoning. The fat was not rendered and the steak was cooked more medium well. The truffle fries were delicious. For dessert I got the creme brulee. That was to die for!! Best creme brulee I've had in a very long time. I was happy with all the food I got except for my steak (everyone else seemed to have enjoyed their food). The lobster Mac and cheese we ordered as a side will be in my dreams! We made a reservation for 6 for Easter Brunch. The night before we were called asking us to call back and confirm our reservation and the number of people because they can not accommodate more people than the amount of people in our party. I called and assured them we'd be there at 9:30am with 6 people no more, no less. Then at 9:11 am on Easter as we were driving to the restaurant we received another message stating there had been a car accident and Autograph only had half their power and were inoperable. We drove past the restaurant on our way to our new Easter Brunch Venue and Autograph was up and running with people entering a lit up restaurant. It is very nice looking and artsy in here. I love the blue chairs. However, it was freezing cold (air was on in January). I mentioned it to the manager and got my table moved to a warmer spot. Their restaurant manager LEE is greatest manager I ran into. She was sweet, attentive, and you can tell that she loves her job. Someone give Lee a raise!!! I had the lobster bisque soup which was good but not enough lobster. The swordfish was great with the asparagus it came with. The lobster Mac and cheese was okay. Joseph was BEYOND incredible!!! We came here on 6/7 for my nieces graduation party. We had a private room upstairs which was gorgeous. Joseph went ABOVE AND BEYOND for everyone in our group. Life is short, F....it up! Family, Flavor, Friend it was family weekend at Villanova. Do you want to go to a nice place with Xay to come here. As you can see we ordered up a bunch of different selections to eat and try. The one of them that blew me away on that flavor was the truffle fries. This is a must get when you come here as they put so much truffle flavor into the fries. This is one of those moments where after the first bite you just pause and sigh. Service was great and all the other food was really good. For those who follow me you know it's all about the burger. this burger also came with truffle fries but it was stacked evenly and seasoned well.
