We ordered the Halle Berry Hallelujah, whipped ricotta, truffle French fries, oysters, mussels, and sundae profiteroles for dessert. Everything was soo good! I loved how my drink had a slight kick to it. The whipped ricotta was super creamy and the sauce for the mussels was super flavorful. I highly recommend the sundae. I made reservations. We are absolutely receive the warmest welcome. As soon as you walk in, you're really entering an experience . The ambience . It's the biggest feeling! It's like you walked into your childhood dream. So many photos of Pop culture most iconic stars. In one nook in the stairway and loos there are hundreds of autographed photos. In the bar area there are framed records and oodles of violins and double bass wall display and whimsical trumpet lighting fixtures . Then there are ultra charmingly, cozy booths that feature a large frame photo of one of Hollywood's biggest icons. Then a bright and open room , oodles of tables and exceedingly large photos of some of Hollywood's proper silver screen elite! And finally a large room, dimly lit , plushed velvety tapestry backed furniture with political caricature art decor. The service was fantastic. Lots and lots of staff. I ordered the salmon with pea purée and wild mushrooms. My bff ordered beef bourguignon. Everything was so exceedingly flavorful, fresh and divine. We split a crème brûlée for dessert . Fabulous meal all around! Started at the bar and had an espresso martini. It was delicious and had a nice foam on top, not to mention the quintessential 3 beans. My friend and I decided we wanted to sit at a table for dinner. The staff was very nice and we had a delicious meal from start to finish. Our server, Jessica was amazing. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. We ordered duck croquettes, lobster cavatelli, beef bourguignon, as well as some non alcoholic drinks. I would happily return! Aesthetically, this place was very nice. I liked the room where I was sat, but I started off pretty badly and it just didn't get better. For whatever reason I was sat with an exterior door 6 feet behind me. Before I even met the server, three sets of people walked in and out, slamming the door as they went. My first interaction with the server was "I'm moving tables, it's ridiculous that they sat someone here." She apologized, but said they didn't normally use that door but were tonight. Fine, then don't use the table I was given that evening. The service was ok but not amazing, presumably because I was eating solo and the bill wasn't going to be more than $100 with tip and there were other tables with 2, 3, or 4 people around me. The food was similarly "ok", but not memorable. The only real issue I had was the Tuna Tartare which more olives than tuna, but I wouldn't order it or the burger again. Overall, the entire experience was "meh" and it reminded me a LOT of White Dog, which I later found out was owned by the same people. Problem is, I've had the same experience with them. The service is average, so is the food, and it's at a premium price. I'll pass. read more

My experience here was in a private room, for an intimate bday gathering. The room was lovely, it was dimly lit, and decorated with pics of old Hollywood actresses and the decor also had a touch of rustic charm - a very lovely space. The menu was prix fixe however before dinner was served, there were hors d'oeuvres. There was so much offered I can't name it all but all of the food was served fresh and flavorful. The lobster bisque is supposed to be creamy , tasty and rich , it was none of these, seems they dipped a lobster in dish water added a few sad shrimp in the bowl, poured watery sauce over it and forgot to heat it. Eggs Benedict were still raw and slimy egg whites were not appealing. Hash browns could use some love, maybe a little seasoning and not so BROWNED close to tasting burnt . Our server was delightful and very professional. The noise level was a little high but the place was very crowded. Seems like the main liners will pay anything for a mediocre meal. We were there for lunch today and I wanted to praise them for the outstanding food in an elegant comfortable setting. The tuna nicoise made with seared ahi tuna was perfect in every respect. The portions were generous and there were lots of interesting components to the salad. We made a reservation for 6 for Easter Brunch. The night before we were called asking us to call back and confirm our reservation and the number of people because they can not accommodate more people than the amount of people in our party. I called and assured them we'd be there at 9:30am with 6 people no more, no less. Then at 9:11 am on Easter as we were driving to the restaurant we received another message stating there had been a car accident and Autograph only had half their power and were inoperable. We drove past the restaurant on our way to our new Easter Brunch Venue and Autograph was up and running with people entering a lit up restaurant. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time. I've driven past it many times but never visited. Today I decided it was time for me to make a reservation and check out the eats. The decor was a surprise but in a nice way. There were photos of old time movie stars everywhere. The framed photos were elegant and classy. I was seated in a room decorated like an outdoor courtyard. There was a faux tree under a huge skylight which made you feel as if you were outdoors having a meal in a courtyard. The food was delicious. The whipped ricotta paired nicely with my glass of wine as an appetizer. Dinner was a beautiful piece of swordfish resting on top of a chilled couscous salad. I did order a side of asparagus which paired nicely with the meal. That was not planned. I just like asparagus. The asparagus was grilled and seasoned with parmesan and spices. Lastly I did have dessert, Hummingbird cake. The cake felt appropriate since I was sitting in a room with a faux tree. The service was good. I did not wait much time between courses. The servers were attentive to my needs and provided recommendations for dishes. My server recommended the swordfish and cake. Both were excellent choices. This place was... okay! First off the decor was super fun and cute. As a seafood enthusiast, I came for the tuna tartare (it's my love language). While it looked amazing on a plate, it was missing that punch of flavor... maybe a drizzle of ponzu or some ginger powder would've taken it up a notch. I was with a party of 8 in total. Our server was amazing but I cannot remember her name. She was a short woman with a curly & high ponytail. She handled our table very well. I ordered the lobster bisque, Spanish octopus, muscle frites, and 2-white cosmos. The lobster bisque had good flavor but was slightly on the salty side with scant lobster meat. I would forego the bisque next time around. The octopus app tasted good. The mussels were executed well in a simple lemon, butter, and Belgian style wheat beer broth which was accompanied by truffle fries. The decor on its own is five stars. We took my father in law here for Father's Day. The outside looks lavish AF. The inside is full of serine memorabilia. I can't get over the look of the place. This is the same owners as the white dog and we love that place too. So we started with the cornbread and strawberry jelly. That was really good. For our main courses I got the autograph omelet and my wife got the lump crab Benedict. I got part of that when she got full. Both were very good. Our server was very friendly and funny. I went to dinner in with a friend and we both ordered a pasta dish marked as MP. Given they were pasta dishes, there was a lack of lobster in there and they charged $70 each. Maybe at that price point and my friend and I both ordering the same dish, the waitress should have mentioned the price. I wouldn't have minded the price should there have been significant amount of protein in there, but there wasn't. Plus they charged me a credit card fee?? I had a chance to visit this restaurant during the week with coworkers. The ambience of the restaurant is really nice. They encourage you to walk around and see the different pictures that they have hanging on the walls and the different sections of the restaurant. The restaurant has an bistro style with, a dated purposely decor. Our server was really friendly. They took good care of us. My party was of five, and we had the opportunity to try quite a few different appetizers from their menu which the server said had just been updated. We loved the thick, sliced bacon and the sushi. For my main course for dinner I had the mussels. This was the low point of the meal. Not that the mussels were not good but they were covered with onions. The onions did not have a ton of flavor. Also, the broth that the mussels were cooked in did not have a ton of flavor either. The truffle fries that came with the mussels were delicious. I would definitely return maybe try something different from the menu and order more of their delicious appetizers. read more

I came here for the first time taking out of town work colleagues to dinner. I saw the menu and the Yelp reviews so I chose this place for our dinner. First off the restaurant is beautifully decorated. There are autographed photos of celebrities everywhere. It was classy and elegant. We sat in the back dining room and was greeted by the staff. The staff was very pleasant and took the time to address our questions and make suggestions. We all ordered rounds of drinks and different appetizers. The best were: shrimp cocktails (huge shrimp and very fresh), the BACON (more like pork belly loved the salt/sweet sauce that came with it) and the duck confit (tender fall off the bone meat) For entrees I got the steak and fries cooked medium rare. The steak came out a little bland. I think it def. Needed more seasoning. The fat was not rendered and the steak was cooked more medium well. The truffle fries were delicious. For dessert I got the creme brulee. That was to die for!! Best creme brulee I've had in a very long time. I was happy with all the food I got except for my steak (everyone else seemed to have enjoyed their food). The lobster Mac and cheese we ordered as a side will be in my dreams! I had the lobster bisque and the Branzino. The lobster bisque was really good and so was the Branzino. I wasn't too fond of the potatoes or the presentation of the Branzino. It is very nice looking and artsy in here. I love the blue chairs. However, it was freezing cold (air was on in January). I mentioned it to the manager and got my table moved to a warmer spot. Their restaurant manager LEE is greatest manager I ran into. She was sweet, attentive, and you can tell that she loves her job. Someone give Lee a raise!!! I had the lobster bisque soup which was good but not enough lobster. The swordfish was great with the asparagus it came with. The lobster Mac and cheese was okay. As you can see we ordered up a bunch of different selections to eat and try. The one of them that blew me away on that flavor was the truffle fries. This is a must get when you come here as they put so much truffle flavor into the fries. This is one of those moments where after the first bite you just pause and sigh. Service was great and all the other food was really good. For those who follow me you know it's all about the burger. this burger also came with truffle fries but it was stacked evenly and seasoned well. Overall it was very disappointing. We went on Valentine's Day, we ordered the baked Brie, the ribeye, the filet, the honey and apple cake, and the banana split profiteroles. The service was nice, our waitress was nice but very soft spoken, but that's ok! The atmosphere was cool, bar is cool but very loud. The food was mediocre at best. The baked Brie was great! Best part of the meal hands down. The ribeye didn't seemed seasoned, it just tasted like smoke, which usually is good but it just tasted like that burnt smoke not like apple wood or hickory, just burnt. I had to salt it a ton on the table. The filet was so tough I thought it was a sirloin, and also the only seasoning on it was from the sauce (the sauce was pretty good though). For dessert the apple honey cake was undercooked, flavor was ok. The banana split profiteroles featured all of 3 thin slices of banana, and the profiteroles were burnt. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone and am doubtful that I would ever come back for more than drinks. Especially for the price being as high as it is. read more

Won't return. This is a place where you pay (dearly) for nice ambiance and lousy food. The food here just isn't that good but it is extremely expensive. Started with octopus that was soft and mushy. My wife's Caesar salad was bland (dressing is just salty without any depth) and with hard pieces of Parmesan rind in the salad. The peas in my entree were waxy and bordering on raw and the Mac and cheese came with a bristle from a metal dish brush. There's more but why bother. Plus, this all happened before getting the check where they nickel and dime you with a 3% convenience fee. Why not just add the charge to the prices on the menu? With those prices you'll never even notice but the additional charge after such a terrible experience only adds insult to injury. Never again. read more
