I like the set up of this brewery and think they did a good job with the location, but the beer itself is kind of middling. Not a single thing on the menu stood out to me, and of the brews I tried I wasn't super impressed. Also, the fries I got were fine but nothing special. The best part about this place is their large yard and ample outdoor seating. Not sure if I'll be back, there's many similar places to get a beer out there.

Have been here many times. Attentive service. Great food. Love the soup/ chili and sweet potato fries. In response to Michael P from 3 months ago, Michael P sat next to us. We did not grow old waiting for service ( our bartender and his ) was attentive for a busy time nor did we find the well-behaved service Bermese dog in the way. Kelley and Craig

Hidden treasures are found in spontaneity! When a restaurant I love didn't open until 3pm and it was noon, a flex and decision needed to made. My friend suggested The Artillery Brewing Co. in Drexel Hill and it was the best laid new plan! Our server Susie, was incredibly welcoming when we entered. She told us to pick where we wanted to sit and she would be right with us. It was a beautiful day, so outdoor seating called us. This establishment is large inside and out. I love the aroma of a smoker and guess who has one?! Their menu is creatively crafted and perfectly named. First Regiment are your starters, Second Regiment are mains... Super festive and inviting. Okay, okay... What about the food you ask?! If you adore smoked wings or fried wings... You'll drop the mic when you taste their smoked, fried wings!! Absolutely DELICIOUS!! Susie told us about the Alabama White sauce, which is slightly sweet and spicy. We ordered that, Buffalo, ranch and blue cheese on the side of naked wings. SMDH... that Alabama White sauce was so dern good, it would make you slap yo mama! But since violence is not the answer and I wouldn't want you to get slapped back by yo momma... I wouldn't suggest you do this Then there was the "CRABBY" crab dip... Another hit! I ordered the Salmon Salad Sandwich and my friend had the Musket Burger (see what I'm saying about the creative naming)... Since we were full from the First Regiment and cocktails (Lemon Drop Martini, Cosmopolitan and Mango beers ) we just tasted a little and boxed the rest of the Second Regiments to go. All of the staff we encountered were really nice and friendly. Exactly what people need these days. I highly recommend you check them out... Immediately!

    Great urinal! Very clean bathrooms

Great little brewery. My wife and me went with my daughter and son in law for a beer and lunch. The brewery is very clean and well kept. The staff were great! Professional and very helpful with any questions. We had a couple of the lunch specials, the smash burgers and sausage sandwiches. I had the sausage sandwich which was outstanding! In house made sausage smothered with peppers and onions on a bun that was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I washed it down with a couple of their Fog of War, a New England Style IPA. Flavorful and smooth. I bought a four pack to take home with me.

Made the mistake of going here for my birthday tonight. 6 people. Took 30min to get beers. When we tried to order an appetizer, we were told the cook was overwhelmed and we needed to wait 20 additional minutes to place an order. Ok. When we finally ordered, it took over 30min to get food for 4 of us. It took over an hour for the food for the other 2 to come out, and it was burnt to inedible when it did. They messed up grilled. cheese. sandwiches. The beer here is great but the service makes it difficult to be a patron, and we will not be back. Such a disappointment. Don't waste your money.

The food and bartender were good, despite her forgetting to put my food order in, but it happends and was a mistake when they were pretty busy. However, they need their staff not to congregate near the bar. The bar patron does not want to overhear the gossip or issues of the place while eating. The vibe was good other than that.

So Delicious Mac and Cheese with pulled pork!

Great pub and brewery in Drexel Hill. Wonderful wait staff, low key environment and they have an outdoor seating which would be fun on a nice day! We tried a few different menu items as well as two of the beers. Really liked *most* of it and the beers tasted great. We got the Tomato Soup which wasn't that great, very thick and had a "tin" taste. Apparently people really like it So maybe we got a bad batch. The hot wings were good, nice buffalo sauce and a smoky flavor. Mac and Cheese with pulled pork was DELICIOUS. Creamy cheese sauce and perfectly cooked and flavored pork. Sweet potato fries were nice and crispy, a definite for next time. Husband got the Fog of War beer which he enjoyed as he likes IPAs, nice flavor. I got The Militia which was light but not without flavor. Very refreshing. Would come back to try more things!

So I absolutely love this place. Not a five since the food sometimes is a bit hit or miss. Like the Cuban sandwich is served with a bun upside down which is weird. The beer is great. We went on opening weekend and had all of their beers. Always a good place to sit shoot the shit and drink good beer. The service never disappoints, the feel of the place is great. I especially love the cool keg used as a urinal in the bathroom lol.

Very nice addition for quick bites within walking distance. Needed a quick lunch before meeting up with friends. Their smash burger was delicious. Sweet potato fries were crispy. Also tried their tomato soup that's not pictured. If you live in Drexel by the apartment buildings and maybe working from home, I suggest you swing by this place.

The bartenders were well versed in soccer, and many of the patrons were tuned into the game too, but some just came for drinks and food. They have a nice selection of beers handy and the menu had a surprising number of good options. I finally went with the burger and am so glad I did! It was absolutely gorgeous and cooked a perfect medium. My first bite and I knew it was a fresh patty. I asked if they made them in house but they actually get them from Wells, a Philly staple for good meats. Came with an ample portion of shoestring fries which were hot and crisp. Can't wait to head back and try some more of the menu options. If I can tear myself away from the burger anyway...

I've never been disappointed with my food here, and you like pub fare you're sure to find something on the menu that will hit the spot. The brisket grilled cheese was phenomenal (though more meat than cheese) and their roast pork rivals anything you'll find in the city. They have a wide variety of options on tap too. Worth checking out.

I ordered the roast beef sandwich with fries...my friend ordered muscles and the ham sandwich special. The muscles arrived cold. Not warm, not tepid...just cold. They were sent back for a trip in the microwave which is a place that shellfish should never journey too...if you want them to remain tender. When I ordered, I asked about a few items and was assured that "people love the roast beef". Now I've had "French Dip" style roast beef before at other restaurants, and when done right...it's a memorable experience. Crusty toasted torpedo style roll brimming with thinly sliced hot beef...provolone cheese melted over the top and down the sides...served with a side of au jus dipping sauce, that you would want to slurp down a soup bowl full. But this...was not that! The sandwich arrived on a hamburger style bun...the meat was piled "adequately" in the center but sloped off considerably as it headed for the edge of the bun. There was no need to worry about meat falling out as I took a bite...as none of it protruded past the buns edge. The cheese was there...a single uninspired round slice covered the cold and somewhat soggy bottom of the bun... and wasn't melted...at all! I suspect that the kitchen assumed that the meat would melt the cheese...but the meat would have to be hot for that to happen. In this sandwich...the closer you got to the middle of the "meat mound"...the colder it got. And little did I know when asked if I wanted provolone on the sandwich...that it would be an additional charge. Now for my fries. They weren't hot...they weren't even warm...they were "ice cold"! I sent them back light heartedly joking that there must be a door open in the kitchen (it was a cold evening) and the server returned shortly with hot fresh ones...minus the pickles that were on my plate. This goes to show that fries can reach the table...hot. The hot ham and cheese sandwich "special", served on a pretzel bun, wasn't hot...and wasn't special. I saw no melted cheese...only thin dry slices of ham, stiff as roofing shingles, protruded from the roll. There was no mustard...no sauce...no "something special" to make the "special", special... just stiff little sad ham planks...wondering where they went wrong On both recent visits...the service has been "spotty". (I know that cell service in the pub isn't spotty, because on my first visit...both servers had their heads buried in their phones). It doesn't seem like there's a real system in place for insuring that the customers receive "attentive" service. To their credit...they did remove the muscles from the check without us asking...but I never got a feeling that the next party to walk through the door...would have a better experience. When you find a good local pub with great food...it's like going to eat at grandmas house. You know that you'll always leave feeling warm, wanted, and fed really well. And you'll be excited by the thought of a return visit. I'm still looking.

While a change in ownership occurred recently, the new team has wisely kept the "time capsule" vibe intact--think dark wood, dim lighting, and a total lack of pretension. The kitchen doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, and that's exactly why people love it. The Burgers: Often cited as some of the best in the area, these are classic, juicy bar burgers. They recently introduced a "smash burger" style that has been winning over even the most stubborn regulars. The Cheesesteaks: You won't find any touristy gimmicks here.
