Grilled chicken burger
Lindy K.

I got the grilled chicken burger plate, of which the highlight were the fries. They were just what I needed that evening. Service is phenomenal. We appreciated Carla's attentiveness. She's amazing. Good lighting. A bit overpriced for what you get, but that's par for the course since it's a hotel restaurant.

I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch here today. Our server Zoe was amazing and the food was delicious. I ordered the Farmers Breakfast and I loved the potatoes eggs sausage and toast. We ate outside on the patio because it was a beautiful day. I highly recommend you come here to eat.

great option in Swathmore. It's one of the few nicer dining establishments and it's open on the weekends. For that reason it gets pretty crowded, but it's pretty good. Expect downtown prices. Lots of options for whatever you like to eat. I like their creative cocktails and good desserts!

This was our first visit. The food was great and the atmosphere was very cozy by the fire. Service was non-existent. Server came to table once to take our drink and food order. For all other interactions, we had to flag him down. We didn't get our drinks until after reminding them that we never received them about 5 minutes into eating our first course. Would love to go back to try other menu items, but the basic lack of service makes for an annoying meal. The have food runners that bring anything from the kitchen quickly and efficiently. They served our drinks in rocks glasses which was very odd, since we ordered iced tea and Diet Coke. When I flagged them down for a refill, I was delivered an Arnold Palmer, and sent it back. When my Diet Coke came it had no ice. Very bizarre.

Upscale dining. Took my friend who came in from Florida for lunch. I love the atmosphere here. Great cocktails. Great lunch menu. Fantastic cream brulee for dessert.

Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure

Look at Swarthmore all grown up with a nice bar cheesesteak. If you know the area you are going to get exactly what you expect. Nice quiet bar/restaurant. Free parking is in the back. Great hostess and server. Very well made cheesesteak. They got the provolone cheese to melt. The caramelized onions added great flavor. $12 and it came with a choice of house made chips, fries or side salad. I got the house made chips (I thought they would be healthier than the fries (Rico, suggested the side salad and I told him to shut the *&^# up)) and they were still warm.

Went here with a friend and split the grilled chicken sandwich and roasted vegetable quinoa bowl. Sandwich came with a side of fries which was a big portion. Service was pretty slow but food was tasty. Cute restaurant.

The real star of the show was Michael at the counter. He went out of his way to bring us our food outside on this lovely day. His vibe and energy is on another level. My nine year old has the same aura so I recognize this type of real. Five stars. Will eat here again. No cap.

I met two of my friends here for dinner last night. And when my friends and I meet for dinner, we…read moredon't just eat, we talk. We talk A LOT. So we look for restaurants where we don't feel bad staying a while - mainly that have ample seating so we're not taking up a table someone else needs, no table service so we're not keeping a server from turning the table over and getting their full tips, and doesn't close too early. This honeygrow ended up being an excellent choice. First off, the food was delicious. The touchscreens allow for easy ordering, and our orders were ready very quickly. We all got stir-frys. They were prepared as ordered and tasted great. Fresh ingredients, tasty sauces, and a great value for the quality and portion size. One friend got a honeybar, and it looked so delicious that I went back up to the screens to order my own after I'd finished my stir-fry. Try the new lemon mousse base for the honeybar - it's delicious! And as I mentioned, we talk. And talk and talk. And the next thing we knew we'd been there almost 3 hours! But the staff never made us feel unwelcome. In fact, we were on a first name basis with them by the time we left! Michael chatted and joked with us, and Angelina offered to clear our trays from our table and told us not to rush out because we had another hour before they closed. We appreciated their friendliness and hospitality, and we'll be coming back again to eat and talk! The only negative about this location is the sun glare that comes in windows of the dining room as the sun is setting at dinner time. Not sure there's much that can be done, but maybe a shade on the windows? We wore our sunglasses at the table for a bit so we weren't blinded until the sun went behind a tree. Otherwise the dining area is clean and comfortable, and they also have outdoor seating which seemed popular last night with the warmer weather.

Fond BYOB - Rock Shrimp Ceviche

The space appears brighter and more inviting than before, and their menu although small had additional specials. The young man who greeted us at the door was also our server. When I asked him about the French onion soup, he said it was their most popular appetizer, so we both decided to try it. Toasted French bread and a delicious butter flavored with a bit of tomato was lovely as we enjoyed our own wine. (The restaurant is still BYOB.) A complimentary "shot" of mushroom soup was hot and creamy. When the French onion soup came out, we couldn't say enough about it. It wasn't overly cheesy or "bready" as it just had a few toasted croutons on top. The soup itself wasn't too salty as onion soup sometimes tends to be. As an entree, I had the special which was rock shrimp with a Fra Diavolo sauce over pasta. It wasn't as spicy as I had hoped, and I would have loved bigger pieces of shrimp/more shrimp, but it was still good. My husband enjoyed his harissa lamb ragout over cavatappi even though his was spicier than expected and, similar to mine, could have had more lamb. Our attentive server made sure everything came out at the right time. The restaurant was quiet and comfortable, and we enjoyed a rare weeknight out. I'm sure we'll be back.

The gnocci was ok, wish there were more than 10 pieces. Salmon was good, it did have a piece of hair in it but since the place just opened I decided not to cause a hassle and send it back. Beef was also good but it was so tiny. For dessert we got the Apple pie and chocolate cake. They were honestly, just ok. All the dishes were very small and left us still hungry. For the price Fond charges, you can get great French food in NYC. I'm a bit disappointed since I had high hopes. I think if they increase the portions and work on their presentation this place could be better.
