We had fun playing pool and darts and the service was fast. Drinks reasonable prices. I'd recommend if you like a nice bar to play pool in.

We went in winter but I'm sure it's packed in summer. The Crab Cake Sandwich is a must. It's actually full of lump crab meat instead of just being a bunch of breading and filler. Since there were no available tables outside, we were placed inside in a corner table with no air circulation. The humidity felt unbearable and really played a major impact on my experience. I'm sure if I came during a mid spring day I would've had a better experience. Food: the food is the only reason I would come here again. I got a crab cake that was very robust with a fair amount of filler but had a good amount of real crabmeat. My son got the quesadilla, and it wasn't anything special. The salmon was small and flavorful. Service: also was not anything special or bad. Our waitress came by twice during our stay. It was a busy afternoon and she was working. It would've been good if they had more staff so that someone could refill our water more frequently. Like I said, the humidity had taken away from our experience. Overall, I wouldn't come here throughout the hot, humid summer months, but I may give it a second try in the winter or spring... maybe.

This was a really great spot. My coworker and I were over in North Jersey for work but flew in and out of PHL rather than facing Newark. In order to beat the crazy construction traffic outside of Philly and to have a buffer for whatever TSA nightmare we were going to face, we got back near the airport early... like 4 1/2 hours before our flight kind of early. I wanted breakfast outside of the airport so I found this spot while he was refilling the rental car. I got the French toast with homefries. The french toast was perfect, with just a tiny bit of crisp in spot from the griddle. Same with the homefries. I would have liked a bit more seasoning while they were cooking, but a bit of salt and pepper and I was good to go. My coworker got the big breakfast but subbed out the homefries for corned beef hash. While I'm not a fan of corned beef hash, it looked exactly like how my mom and grandfather like it, with a little bit of crisp to it. The pancake was huge and he said his over medium eggs were cooked exactly like he hoped they would be. Now I just need to plan out my flights so I can come get breakfast here again and try one of the sandwiches, or omelettes, or maybe get French toast again...

Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.

After being directed to the kiosk, I was unsure of what to do while waiting for my order. When an employee (who identified herself as the owner's wife) approached me, the way she addressed me regarding sitting down felt dismissive and unprofessional rather than welcoming. As a new customer who was already confused by the system, this left a poor first impression. I came in hoping for a great experience at a local business, but I felt disrespected during the interaction. I was hoping to try their ramen, but ended up ordering the shrimp tacos based on the suggestion of the day. I hope the management considers how they interact with new customers, as it really impacted my desire to return. Although the food was great and the owner was very kind and respectful, the way his wife acted wasn't very kind and professional. Maybe next time I'll DoorDash.

Our drinks were empty for most of the meal, and we had to ask another server just to find her. One of our drinks was made wrong, and when we finally got her attention, she seemed annoyed she needed to come to our table and actually walked away while we were still talking, which felt really dismissive. What makes it more frustrating is that there's an automatic 18% gratuity even for small tables. I ended up having to tipping $22 total, and for only seeing her a handful of times, it definitely didn't feel deserved. To top it off, when I mentioned to the head bartender (who was acting as the manager) that I wouldn't be coming back, he pulled $40 cash out of his own wallet and offered it to me to "give them another chance." It honestly made me feel so uncomfortable and was not an appropriate way to handle the situation. The food was fine, but the service and overall experience were not. I've tried airport Genos with little culinary impact (although I'd argue the brick and mortar doesn't churn out the best sandwiches either). I saw I'd be walking by Passyunk's on my way to the next gate, so I gave it a try. Order at one of two kiosks and anything you select will be given by the vendor (i.e., do not grab your beverage from the adjacent, self-service store front; they're different companies). The service was quick and easy, which is great for anyone rushing to their next flight. The resulting sandwich, however, was underwhelming. I absolutely agree and confirm what Yelper Alicia B. notes; Passyunk skimps on cheese whether you pay for extra or not. After ten years of regular travel, I know it's not impossible to find flavorful meals in an airport...but they're still rare. Often times it feels as if eateries don't try because they don't have to--you're in an enclosed environment with minimal choices and you often need sustenance. Sadly, I'd lump Passyunk's in that category. If you are interested in filling your belly, it'll do. If you're looking for a great cheesesteak, move on.
