Cafe have always be known for having great breakfast. Miller's Cafe is no exception. It's a small, cozy restaurant. The ladies were busy take orders and running food out of the kitchen, but they weren't too busy to take care of me. My breakfast came to the table fast and hot. The meat lover's omelette and fried potatoes were delicious. Coffee was bold and enjoyable. Very good experience overall. Simply breakfast done well. Stop in, try it out! read more

I stopped by Miller's for a cheesesteak on my way out of Philly yesterday. Miller's is an old-school but entirely charming diner-like cafe. Retro, casual, comfortable. They usually only serve breakfast on the weekends, but they made me a cheesesteak anyway, which was very sweet of them. And on top of that, the cheesesteak was great. On my way to the airport and stopped here for a quick breakfast before my flight and long day. I hear that this is the best in town. I also hear that everything is really good. We'll, we'll see. The menu is full of great choices. One caught my eye. Chip beef. I haven't had that in a long time. I thought I'd take a chance. I also ordered some eggs over med. Everything is made fresh. The dish came out pretty quick. The presentation was nice. The flavor of everything was really good, just as the guys next to me said. Seemed like everybody was a regular. Old fashioned type of diner that you would never find in Florida! As I entered, I could not help notice the sign (which I liked), "no mask, no service!" Early on a Sunday morning we had no problem getting seated. There was a regular breakfast menu and a menu with specials. Husband ordered the Stuffed Stuffed Apple French Toast and ordered an Egg white Veggie Omelet. One of my favorite omelets ever. The veggies inside were actually freshly sautéed and had flavor. Home fries were big chunks of new potatoes with onions (not frozen shredded stuff). The coffee was full bodied. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and our food arrived lighting fast. Liked here so much I can forgive the Eagles paraphernalia and Fox News on television! read more

From the outside you think this is a small counter only restaurant, wrong. They have enough seating for several families and two somes. It's dated but clean and full of Philadelphia Eagles paraphernalia so that's a very good start. The servers offer a full pleasant and friendly greeting. Immediate service of being seated, given the menu and offered a drink. I received my coffee before I could sit my handbag down. YES, SCORE!! It's was good strong coffee without the bitterness that makes to coffee too bold. I ordered the loaded home fries and banana walnut pancakes. These home fries are a touchdown, home run, goal, three pointer! In other words AWESOMELY DELICIOUS!! Home fries with big chunks of bacon, fried onions, and REAL cheddar cheese! The pancakes were filled with bananas and walnuts yummy.. only negative I had to pour cold syrup on my hot pancakes. That's not something that would keep me from returning. Staff is super friendly and if you sit at the small bar you can basically hear and see the crack of fresh eggs, sizzle of bacon and construction of your next tasty meal. The staple breakfast items are what's done so well here. Eggs, home fries, hot cakes, French toast. If you want to feel comfortable in a bit of a throwback type of place eat here. I just really appreciate how everything's cooked while you wait, made fresh and how quick and friendly the operation is run. I've taken to their lunch as well. This past trip I had a BBQ Chicken sandwich on a soft fresh roll, fresh grilled chicken, tangy and sweet BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese on top with a side of "beer fries". You can see into the kitchen while she cooks but that doesn't detract from the warmth of the cutely decorated little diner. I chose the special which was banana nut pancakes. They were homemade with the perfect amount of banana and nuts inside neither of which cancelled out the other, flavorwise. They were perfect with a capital P. Glad we visited! Place is small, probably seats 30-35 people max (not a complaint, just a heads up). Service is very friendly and super quick! As soon as my boyfriend and I sat, we asked for waters and coffee and received both immediately. After ordering, the food came in what felt like 10 maybe 15 minutes. Portions are great, prices are reasonable, flavors are what you would expect (in a good way!). The home fries are a bit on the oily side but anyway would love to come back! read more

Stopped by for a quick brunch on way home from Philly. Quaint small local neighborhood spot where everyone seems to know everyone by name. Wait staff super friendly and food came out quickly. In poking around Yelp recently, I noticed I hadn't been here before. But if it is good enough for Tom E and Jay G, it's good enough for me. Besides, I have a deep love for having breakfast at diner counters. Just my thing. This place not only made me a perfect bacon, egg and cheese on a hoagie roll (one of my favorite things in the world to eat), they let me share the morning paper with my fellow counter mates. That's the way it used to be done in the old days, and it's good to know that some places still do it. I think there are places serving slightly better quality breakfasts, but you tend to pay more. Here, you get a really good breakfast at a really good price. That will always be enough to make me a fan. read more

My husband had the kielbasa omelet and I had a omelette bacon, spinach and cheese. He upsize and got the loaded home fries. Every thing was fabulous. And the coffee was perfect. Although we were there at noon we had to order from the breakfast menu and not the lunch menu, which I was confused because it's called Millers Luncheonette. My son is not a fan of breakfast food and wanted a burger. The waitress had to check with the cook to see if that was ok, which is was thankfully.
