This is a small deli about 50 feet off Middletown Road. The service was good, and we had the chicken salad. It was pretty yum, but not a 5-star yum.

The name "Deli" it's not totally descriptive of this place. It's a breakfast and lunch restaurant where you can buy some items at the front counter and it does include some deli items like hoagies and salads. But I venture to say that most come here 90% of the times for breakfast and lunch because it's so worthwhile. it's a little cramped inside but the seating is comfortable and the outside although small is heated. If you coming on a weekend or be prepared to see a full parking lot but spots open up frequently. Just be kind and caring towards your fellow human beings while parking. you will get a spot but patience is key. Why? Because this place is great and it's worth the effort. I've been coming here over 10 years and every meal has always been great.

I got the scrapple, egg and cheese on a long roll. I loved it. Scrapple was cubed. Best decision I made in several years was to get a side of hash browns for $4.50. Red potatoes, hand sliced and grilled. I love this place and it's not a cheesesteak so I am going to use this as a learning moment. Guys, if you want to elevate your dating game from the corner bar and pick up lines like 'Did it hurt when you fell to earth, Angel?' Take your dates here.

I see why my first rating was a 4 on the turkey, it's good but not blowing faces. To be fair, you gotta have awfully good fixins to take a turkey to a 5 count. You want to see it but it ain't easy not being cheesy. Kovacs got good fixins but it's deli style fixins, they're not going to the county fair tryna win medals. Kovacs does come correct on the bread which is such an obvious miss for many in the area. Nice soft airy hoagie roll like ya like it. The Italian though is the winner. The meat to sandwich ratio is elite, and the meats themselves were top top. I honestly didn't take time to pinpoint what about the meats were so good cause I straight inhaled this hoagie. Needless to say I'm coming back. Thus far best hoagie in the locale for sure.

Hidden gem in Media!…read more While it looks like your average corner store from the outside, once you walk in, you are met with incredible energy from the owner and a special deli selection that is sure to meet anyone's standards. In any day, you can expect an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, all on a long roll (personally my favorite way to eat a breakfast sandwich,) and beyond that, he has a great meet and cheese deli selection. He doesn't skimp on portions, and it's really affordable. I've been enjoying a Buffalo chicken hoagie, with the works! You may be surprised to find out that he is slinging meatball subs too, which he claims to be the crowd pleasure. After trying it for the first time, I can certainly see why. Healthy layers of cheese and you can tell he puts in time and thoughtfulness to his sauce and meatball recipes. If you are looking for any drinks or snacks to compliment the sandwich, he has aisles packed out with a number of options. Beyond the food itself, you'll remember the owner. Kind and funny!

The menu includes lots of options not found elsewhere but we settled on the classic Benedict served on potato pancakes and the early bird special which was a deal. The poached eggs were perfect while the potato pancakes were a welcomed alternative to the usual English muffin pairing. The potato's that came with the scrambled eggs were fluffy inside, moist, and with a nice crisp exterior--hard to do and the best I've had hands down. The coffee is Ellis - William Penn which was very good. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient even though it got busy after we sat down. The restaurant is clean and modern yet feels homey at the same time--the cutlery is placed on the table in a small white paper bag which reminded me of a scene from the movie "As Good as it Gets" ---very cool.
