Great small deli, fresh cut meats and cheese. Good customer service, and I even grabbed a half gallon of milk, which I needed! Delicious!

What a great little gem I found outside of Marcus Hook in Boothwyn Pennsylvania near Chester. It's a small Italian deli with other specialty Italian foods inside if you're in the area it's a must try and reasonably priced.

I just found this place recently and I've only been here 3 times. This place has been busy all…read morethree times and I went at differents time of the day. My first two were excellent, the third not so much. I've had an old world Italian hoagie and a roast beef hoagie, had the mini size and both were jam packed with delicious ingredients. There was a time I could have eaten the largest size, which is 3 times the size of the mini, but as an old man the mini was perfect. My most recent visit I ordered a regular size kielbasa with sauerkraut, which for most of the sandwiches would be like the medium size, for the kielbasa is was the smallest they offered. Well, I should have asked for the kraut on the side because when I got home the nice Aversa's roll was soggy, my fault there. On the other hand the kielbasa tased like Hillshire Farm mass produced crap. When the guy got it from the refrigerated cooler where they keep the deli meats he carried it with both hands in a manner as to hide the package it was in, I thought it was odd at the time but didn't think any more about it, until I got home and realized why. While waiting for my sandwich, I saw what looked like 'real' kielbasa in with the deli meats so I was very disappointed when I went to enjoy the sandwich only to have the taste and texture to like be a glorified hot dog. Overall I like the place, the prices and hoagies are great. But, I now know not to order anything but the hoagies here.

The cookie dough dipped in chocolate and chocolate cherries looked amazing. They were making chicken cutlets. I was extremely close to getting a chicken cutlet sandwich. They use their oven roasted beef for the cheesesteak. I was surprised how different the texture was from a steak. $8 cheesesteak. When I have been a good boy and deserve a treat I will be going back.

They don't have a menu (except for party trays) so you make up what you want and voila. The staff was very friendly and professional, especially for their young age. The young man who made our food said, "I hope you like it," when he handed them off to us, which was very thoughtful. It shows pride in good work, which is really appreciated. Meats were decent and fresh, rolls fresh too. I was told I'd get a 12" roll for $5.50, which would have been an amazing deal, and I was all ready to rave about the deal on Yelp, but what I got was only an 8" roll, which, in light of my anticipation, was kind of disappointing, but for $5.50 it was still a good deal for the quality of deli meats. The store was clean and tidy. There was a dining area if you wants to eat in, and typical selection of tastykakes, chips, drinks, etc. that come with the deli atmosphere. Typical old school corner store.

Some options slightly alternate but always something for the mainstream too. The ice cream is a can concept is fairly new with no preservatives and locally made. Bookworm's brew is an excellent coffee ice cream with chips and I believe other things infused in it. The local library across the street encourages this flavor partly because of the name of it. Pizza steak is on point- just wish I had the pepperoni one instead as I had ordered according to the receipt and memory. This aspect since I was charged more for a product that the actual cost could be 4 stars. Fries are delicious- love the combo of the chicken and Alfredo sauce. Can't order that combo just anywhere. My go to place for hoagies and some treats. The salads look great too. Staff here is very friendly.

The food is consistently fresh, portions are generous, and everything just tastes like it's made with care. Their breakfasts are top notch--perfect bread, with tons of options- not just white , wheat or rye...quality meats, and potatoes from heaven. You can tell they don't cut corners. Pancakes are also excellent. Although my request to get one in the shape of a unicorn was denied, only Mickey. LOL They have some homemade baked goods that are killer as well. Try the famous Bryan's Irish soda bread as your toast for a true taste reminiscent of the Emerald Isle. Better yet take one home, like I did. Lunch is fantastic as well...I just wish I could go for that more often. Try the "N" sammy if you like London broil. it's crazy good. What really stood out though was the service. Super friendly, quick, and they actually remember repeat customers. It's the kind of spot that feels local in the best way. Think Norm from Cheers. If you're anywhere near Media and want a solid, no-BS breakfast and lunch spot with a deli that delivers every time, this is it. Easily one of my go-to spots. I'm there every week. You should be too.
