We have been here three times now because we loved it the first time! We wanted to try more! We brought the kids the last time. Delicious food. Quick service. We ate outside on one of their two picnic tables, all three times. Bob Marley, Rocky Balboa, tacos, pulled pork bbq (served on long roll with bbq sauce on top of pork), buffalo chicken steak (chunks of chicken)corn fritters, and their homemade drinks (Strawberry/Mango fave so far) are all good bets! We will be stopping by to try other menu items in the near future.

The place is a little small inside & a little warm, but lunch was very good.. I had 2 Street to cola and chips and salsa... Love Mexican and both were tasty....

I finally made it back to The Tattooed Pig (my first time since they re-branded from the Plum Bistro). I have to say the smoked chicken with jerk sauce remains my favorite - it is just THAT good. This time, I had it over their hand-cut fries ("Cluck Fries") which was very good. I also tried the Texican burrito which was huge and filled with BBQ Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage, Hand Cut Fries, Jalapenos, and Apple Slaw. It was also very good, but it wouldn't stay together at all so it was really quite messy to eat - it would have easier to eat if it were in a bowl. They do have some bowls on the menu, but it would be cool if they could offer all of their burritos in a bowl instead of the tortilla (I'm sure they would do it if I asked). I was also thinking that some cheese (instead of their yummy apple slaw) would help hold the burrito together better (which, again, I're sure they would do if you asked). As for my old man, he tried the traditional burrito with beef brisket and surprise surprise, he didn't like it. Well, basically he said it was okay but it was mostly rice. He is a big-time meat man. Anyway, he doesn't seem to like anything he orders these days so whatever. Getting picky in his 'old' age I guess LOL.

Soooooooooooo..... ordered dinner here tonight.... 30 minutes after the order was submitted we got a call stating they did not have 2 items we ordered and had multiple questions about the rest. After the food arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes later .... There was no chicken and dressing on the salad which had bad lettuce. No bacon on BOTH orders of Mac and cheese.. No cheese on the tots.. and all of these things we up-charged for. The chicken and shrimp in the burritos were not cooked. And there was a hair in my rice and beans. The best part of this experience was the hold music they had when we called to see where our order was..

    The PHILLY-RRITO (cheesesteak burrito)

The PHILLY-RRITO (cheesesteak burrito) was absolutely delicious. It had the perfect combination of ribeye steak to cheese to fried peppers and onions to french fries. As a fan of quality Philly cheesesteaks like Dalessandro's and Jim's this burrito more than met my expectations. The meat was flavorful and juicy and the addition of the hand cut french fries really took this thing to another level. Sometimes you see places that make "fat" sandwiches with french fries, mozzarella sticks, or what have you into their sandwiches as almost a gimmick, but the fries in this cheesesteak burrito added the perfect amount of crunch, oil, and salt. Normally I would say $14 is on the higher side for a burrito but this thing was massive and more than worth the cost. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to my friends and family. The girl working the counter was extremely nice and polite and allowed me to get extra sauces to try at no charge. I used a 10% Yelp check-in available at the time, which is an extra bonus and I encourage you to contribute it towards a tip as this place deserves it!

    Beef birria tacos Cluck Fries

Everything was amazing. Beef birria tacos were my choice and soooo good. I could barely finish one. Not a huge fan of corn tortillas but the flavor of these made me like them. Cluck fries were my favorite and the portion was huge. My bf got the PHILLY-RRITO which I only had a bite of but that was good as well. Will def be back if I'm in the areas. Staff was really present.

Food was great, service good. Ambiance was fine I guess, but they should make up their mind if they want to be dine in or all carry out.

Whenever I travel out of state I make a point to eat at local spots ONLY. My friends and I wanted…read moreMexican food and this place had decent reviews. You can place an order at the kiosk in front or at the register. It was easier using the kiosk because you didn't have to bother the lone server for options, add-ons etc. I had a birria bowl which was HEARTY. I mean the serving was huge and I was able to eat off it for two days. I thought it would be served with the consume, but I had to pay extra for that a sour cream. We did carry out, so the four stars is for cleanliness of the restaurant, quick service and serving size. I was very shocked that it was seasonless. There was no spice. There was nothing separating each ingredient in the bowl in terms of taste. It was all just one note and the note was Nothing. The consommé was also flavorless, but it did help with the dryness of the birria. I probably wouldn't try this place again if I came back at least not the burrito bowl my homegirl both had tacos and said that they enjoyed those.

Food was pretty good. I was in the area for business and…read morewas in the mood for some frijolitos. Without going to far from the hotel because of the DANG SNOW! I decided to try this place. I haven't had a chiminichanga in a long time plus it came with frijolitos y arroz so I ordered the carnitas chiminichanga. The taste was there; carnitas were tasty and the queso crema stuff they put on top was on point. Their salsas were a little weak; it would be good to have some spicy tomatillo salsa with anything carnitas. The frijolitos refritos were a little disappointing. There were mashed to a good consistency; too many whole beans. At least they weren't blended in the blender how some places do it. And gracias a dios that they weren't canned beans. NO CANNED BEANS!! the arroz was good. The atmosphere needs a pick-me-up. It was mostly because of the music. One would think a Mexican restaurant would play some sort of Mexican music. This place was playing instrumental versions of '70s classics. Please play some mariachi or cumbias or something Mexicano. I'm from southern California so maybe I shouldn't expect too much about Mexican food from Philly. And yes I hate the snow. If you didn't get my reference to chiminichangas, watch Napoleon Dynamite.
