Found this little gem on Yelp, and I am SO GLAD! The food was La bomba. My husband had a grilled chicken quesadilla, I had the chicken street tacos, and my son had the birria tacos. The quesadillas were super stuffed and healthy! Black beans, pico de gallo, chicken, and chipotle aioli on the side. The salsas were fresh and great flavor! I loved my chicken tacos and the guacamole was freshly smashed. The chips were fresh, everything was so fresh and tasty. I will be back to try their burrito. The service was attentive, quick, and detailed. This is a to go spot, so my husband and I waited outside in our truck while our food was made. The owner brought our order to us! Great customer service. The inside was clean, well lit, and I am hoping the summer time will mean stocked paletas in the freezer section of their spot. read more

The food is excellent. It's filling, flavorful and everything fresh. I've had the birria tacos and steak nachos. They don't skip on the portions. The tacos are thick and the steak is a plenty. The only Mexican I will go to...and it's a good half hour ride from me. I ordered via yelp/doordash option before they opened at 12. I ordered at 11 something even though they were closed, but it was ready when I picked it up at 1. I scheduled the time for pick up. There is no where to sit inside the facility. It's a take out spot, but some of it was eaten in the car on the way home. Worth the trip. Worth the price because it is consistently 5 star. read more

The price scared me a lil' (21$ for Birria tacos, 24$ for carne asada) but when you see the amount of meat and cheese you get, I'd say it's worth it. The Birria tacos were 10/10- greasy, lovely, meaty, salty (just the way I like them) but the carne asada were tough (slightly overcooked) and I asked for cilantro and onions and didn't get any :/ When you walk in the place, the fridge and shelves are bare and tbh I thought it was a stand up and was abt to get murdered because how abandoned it looked, but I guess it's because they get most their business through pick up and delivery. They didn't even have a menu for us to look at when we dropped in, which was kind of unfortunate because what if I didn't have my phone on me? I never come to PA without stopping by Toro's BBQ. I have had their birria tacos but by far the BEST thing I've had is the BIRRIA PIZZA!!! It was so fresh and flavorful. The service was quick and timely. There isn't much of an ambiance because it's more of a store front but it is clean! If you like birria tacos you'll love the pizza. I've always loved Torro's food and have recommended it often, but tonight's experience was unacceptable. Our order was already 30 minutes late, and when I went inside to pick it up, no one was available for about ten minutes. I was then told it would be another 20 minutes. An item was missing from the order, and when I called to say I was on my way back, the person who answered told me, aggressively, that it wouldn't be ready or even made because they were "slammed." I was yelled at for trying to get an item we had already paid for. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was shocking. It was one of the wildest restaurant experiences I've had, and it's left me unsure whether we'll return. read more

I've been on a serious hunt for authentic tacos and my fellow Yelpers led me here and I am so happy!! I will take that 20 minute drive for this. I drove by the spot as couple of times because it really does not give taco vibes it looks like a house was converted. After calling and being guided how to find it there was easy parking. I'll order before going next time but I wanted the full experience. This is purely takeout, no tables chairs etc. But who cares the tacos are freaking amazing! You know they are legit when you get the sides of cucumber, lime and radish slices. I ordered the combo taco plate of 4 tacos (2 of asada/2 al pastor. I couldn't wait to get home and picked at the al pastor meat and it was so juicy, and well seasoned. The meat ratio was lovely and they use the good tortillas. I also ordered the cilantro rice with beans which was divine. When I got home I demolished 2 tacos and some rice and had left over for dinner. The asada meat was also well seasoned and cooked not chewy at all. I have found my new spot for taco Tuesday!!!! read more

Toro's is a hidden gem. I literally drove by it. It's a small takeout spot with no seating and no menus. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos and a side of mac n cheese. The wait was about 35 minutes (I'll call it in next time), but worth it. EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious! Probably the best shrimp tacos I've had in a while. I'll be back soon. read more

Overall great food. Service was fine. Got taco and burrito, both good size portions. I didn't know that the burrito came with fries, the fries I got were like the left over scraps... just tons of tiny pieces of fries and only 2 pieces that were the size of a quarter and the rest just tiny. Holy moly, the birria pizza is just SO good! A bit expensive but worth every bite for sure. The meat was juicy and flavorful, the amount of cheese was just right, the au jus was just delicious and filled with onions and cilantro, and the green and red sauces that came with it, well let me just say I may have licked the containers to get every bit out. They were so tasty and not overwhelmingly hot like some can be. That said, it was a little hard to find the place. I don't think they've been open for very long. They do have a sign out front strapped to the front porch railing, but that was it. We found it though and I'm sure glad we did. This place slaps. Not much else to say besides that. I brought this home for dinner the other night, and my wife said she could eat it every day. Absolutely love the beef barria tacos here... the guacamole is delish, the pico is actually spicy, but please note you'll want to place your order in advance... they don't have any seating, and many of the orders are quite large. This is my 3rd order of the Birria tacos. They are delicious especially as they come out fresh and hot off the grill! Emmm... There's no other local spot I could think of that has Birria tacos and upon first visiting, my expectations were higher bcus it's one of my favorite Mexican dishes. I was pleasantly surprised that they were so good. Even rivaling a few other establishments I had been to out of the area. Of course there is broth {consommé) that comes with the Birria. While I originally found the broth to be a tad bit watery, I acknowledge that the flavor and texture have improved with each new visit. So it looks to be a work in progress. Though they opened last year, when I spoke to the owner Miguel, he did explain that they are still working out some of the kinks with regards to the everyday mechanics. That means that as of right now this spot is just take-out only. However, they are available all over your usual popular apps. So you can place an order online or you could even use their website. In addition, last time I checked, I saw no seats were made available to customers. So keep that in mind if you haven't place your order ahead of time and plan to wait around. I could tell when I spoke with the owner that he was excited about the potential of his food and the restaurant overall. He and I had a brief chat upon my first visiting and he is was very forthcoming with his intentions and where they would like to take things as far as building his establishment. After speaking with him I am confident that they have real potential. In closing if you are in the local area definitely give this place a try. I love this place and whenever I order I think "I should order here more often." Their Birria tacos are so good. I usually get the seafood and my husband gets the chicken. The beef are good too though. They are spicy so if you are sensitive to spice, beware. It's a small operation and a few times I have ordered through grubhub and they don't have some of the items, but I get a call immediately to let me know. I appreciate the communication. read more

We had a party of four orders lunch at Toro's first of all there was one person dining in and it took over 20 minutes to get our order. When the order finally arrived only three entrees were delivered...About 10 mins ago by and they said they forgot my order. They ran back to make it, but they had obviously lost the ticket and had no idea what I had ordered....I waited a few more minutes for the three workers to stop arguing over it and suggested that I will just get my entree refunded while our party tried to eat their meals. . They said no and that mine was ready and handed me a lunch I didn't even order‍ I just took it and tried to eat it, but it was so disgusting.
