To preface this with a little about my experience with the actual food here, there's nothing inherently good not bad about the tacos, burritos, etc from Yosemite. However, there is nothing that sets them apart and with all the wonderful choices of Mexican options in the area as well as in the city, this would be my absolute last choice to get classic Mexican street food in the area. I decided to finally write my review after this visit, being my third time giving Yosemite a try, and I am not sure if the business has changed hands, or if there are any extenuating circumstances that have influenced the business, but this was easily my worst experience of the three. We ordered most recently as part of a community school promotion. It turned out to be a complete debacle. I tried to order multiple times through their site but the code we were told to use simply wasn't working, so we called in and were given an attitude. So I then attempted to order again online and simply placed the order without the code working properly. Apparently we were not the only people experiencing this same problem and I am hoping that the fundraiser did not suffer from the obvious issues that were occurring. When we arrived to pick up our order we were perplexed by the fact that upon walking into the restaurant, there was simply no one there. I stood around for a full six minutes asking if anyone was there and no one even answered. I did see some phones and a lovely vape charging on the prep counter, so there had to be someone working the restaurant, especially because our order was received and was supposedly prepared. After the short wait in an empty restaurant, a woman appeared and did manage to match me up with my order, which was mediocre at best. I was happy to have my food, but was weary it was not even supporting the cause I had decided to order to support. We will not be returning to Yosemite. We have given them enough chances for food that simply is found much better elsewhere. I suggest you do the same. read more

If you don't have WiFi, you should add WiFi as the connection is bad here. There is seating upstairs. These 2 TooGoodToGos seem very healthy and just what I like! I think I like Pancheros the most in this area and between this place and Chipotle, I am not really sure so far. Staff is friendly and pickup was superb. Place inside is clean. read more

Ah, wish I could give this place more stars but has gone significantly downhill. Higher prices, poorer quality. But the precipice for my review is that I placed an order on DoorDash and over 30+ minutes later, it was cancelled for absolutely no reason, with no communication. I've always picked previously (and have had issues / mistakes with these orders in the past) but they apparently cannot handle delivery whatsoever. Maybe take your business off of third party services. Improve your customer service. Watch your prices. Increase quality. Otherwise, I bet this place will shut down within a year. read more

At first, I wasn't really feeling the set up of how you order. It's similar to Wawa with the kiosk. There was a couple items I wanted to add to my order. But the lady really helped me out and anything that you wanna add you can ask them and they'll add to it. The nachos were fire. I showed them my requests as well as the lie of a response which was accepting ZERO accountability for this issue and they gave me a refund without disputing with the fraud department. This place used to be so good. Their prices went up, the steak is terrible. We went here and ordered tacos and a bowl. There was no ice in the machine and we had to ask someone to put ice in it. Most would come for the takeout, I think -- which is kind of a shame, because upstairs there's a seating/eating area that is really quite nice, clean, it's apparent more effort went into the design of the upstairs than a lot of takeout places. Come and go, you'll miss these touches. But I went with the intent to eat in, brought along a big bottle of Corona, which went exceedingly well with the burrito bowls and elote dip we ordered. Nothing fancy, we knew what to expect. Still, the dine-in experience was ... odd. I think overall, what struck me were the two exceedingly young gentlemen behind the counter, who were managing well enough, I suppose. Maybe it's because I'm in my 60s, but the absence of, well, an adult made the place feel unsupervised and a little improvisational, maybe more so as we waited upstairs wondering how our order was coming along downstairs. And when the food arrived, we had no complaints whatsoever. I even called once asking what was going on and if there was anything that could be done for the order I just received that was wrong - nope. Management doesn't do discounts or anything. This place may make me forget about the Chipotles and Qdobas of the world. I love that they're more locally owned. That's worth it alone. But it's the food that will make me come back. I'm a huge fan of their nachos. I love that they let you pick your own toppings. I also love that they let you top them with street corn. Combine that with their queso, Chipotle crema, and guacamole, and whatever proteins you want. The individual size is more than enough for two. And I love their rollettes. I could make them a meal on their own. I'm a huge fan of the Southwest chicken and tinga ones myself. Also, their chips alone are worth it. They do something special with those. My wife gets burrito bowls and loves them. Lots of customizable ingredients means there's something for everyone. This place deserves a chance to win you over too. read more

Took the family for a late lunch, ordered Nachos and tacos! Chicken corn nachos were amazing. Cheesy, and loaded. Taco sampler was good, not a big fan of the Chorizo taco, but the chicken taco made up for it! It was amazing. The fish tacos were perfectly made. No complaints. Will definitely be back. Only downside was having to share this amazing food with the family. Tried the following there recently: Fish tacos - OK Chorizo burrito - flavorful Al pastor tacos - OK but overwhelmed by the pico de gallo I added. I can only imagine what happens when people add more toppings. Some of the tomato chunks were bigger than the meat. Salsas on the side were good. Especially the red guajillo salsa. Overall - This competes with Americanized Mexican food / wraps. It has a lot of pick your protein / pick your add-on choices. Pick something with those salsas. Parking: Meters on Saxer Ave right out front. SEPTA: Close to the 101 Trolley. Return: There's a few mom & pop authentic Mexican places I would go to if closer. If I were picking up pizza at Thunderbird down the street, I might try it again. read more

I like having local alternatives to Chipotle. Their bowls are great and they have a wide variety of sauces to choose from, something I appreciate. The extra star is for how clean and cute the shop is. First red flag should have been a lack of soft corn tortillas for tacos. We sort of knew we were going into an Americanized burrito place and not a Mexican restaurant but it was still surprising to read things like "chipotle" and "lime" and "cilantro" on the menu and then not even taste those things in the food. The quantity of food was impressive. We got 3 burritos and a bowl and that bag was heavy. But it was just...flavorless. We appreciated the inclusion of impossible meat. All dishes were very rice heavy, and my bowl was completely covered with a layer of cold sauce on top of a thick layer of wet, cold cheese. The carnitas were simply shredded meat, no flavor. The pineapple added flavor but I'm pretty sure it was canned, not fresh, and it was certainly not grilled. There's an up charge for guac sauce and several of the cheeses and the quantity on the ingredients we paid extra for was minimal. Bottom line: the words on the menu simply didn't translate into what they could have been on the plate. We went in hungry with low expectations and still managed to be disappointed. read more

This store has been here almost a year now and time for me to check out Yosemite Burrito in my own "backyard." A complimentary brochure was left in the mail and noticed there wasn't a phone number listed. I guess they want us to either head in person or online order. So, I did the latter where I found the online menu a tad bit confusing; pick 1 from column A, three from B etc. plus there was no place at the end to put my CC number. No biggie, I paid when I picked up my meal. A Burrito Bowl Builder is $9.75. Meat was AL Pastor (pork,) brown rice, black beans, cheese, grilled peppers/onions, tortilla strips, onion, guac sauce and tomato salsa. Terrible. I ordered from there for the first time tonight through door dash. The nachos were good. Shame I didn't get to enjoy them since I had to drive to Yosemite burrito after paying door dash because they sent me tacos that were burnt to a crisp inside and out! Then they covered it in sauce to cover it up! The manager stated that he would fix the tacos but not being able to eat the nachos had nothing to do with him. After door dash fees and tips he refused to remake the nachos or take any responsibility. The manager's condescending and nonchalant attitude was repulsive. Fantastic nachos. Delightful quesadillas. Yummy bowls. OK churros. My husband and I order from Yosemite Burrito at least once month and it's our fave takeout spot. The dine-in vibe is good too! I typically order the Half Dome nachos or Buffalo chicken quesadilla. Husband usually gets the Buffalo chicken nachos or the Papa Cerdo quesadilla. We order from here enough that we have found our favorites! Nachos are reliably crunchy with good quality toppings. Small is a good single portion, medium or large to share or have as leftovers. The only thing I don't love is the churros -- for me, they taste like reused fryer oil and I just can't get past it. My husband loves them though, so maybe it's just me. read more

Tacos and nachos are always mushy. Also, sometimes the meats don't taste that fresh. They REALLY skimp and price gouge on the cheese. I ordered the chalupas and customized them to include Pico. I also ordered the chips and salsa. I picked my order up and live right down the street from this place. Once home I discovered that my order was a mess! It was ice cold and also burnt to a crisp and covered in sauce and looked like they were thrown around in the box. There was no Pico and I saw a long black hair in there as well. Disgusting! After looking at the review photos that others have left, I can see that I'm not the only one who received this slop. My order looks identical to the others who have left bad reviews. This place will be closed in no time. I won't be back. I'd rather eat nasty Taco Bell than food from here! read more

It's great to support a locals business, so we tried Yosemite Burrito. And, the churros!!! The chips were nice and the salsa pretty decent. The veggie burritos we got were kind of soggy if I am being honest. It was hard to tell if the sogginess was related to the amount of salsa and vegetables, so we will have to try again to see how we fare. My first impression of the burrito is that I would choose Chipotle if it were close. Sorry! But, the churros! OMG, the CHURROS!! Loved them. Ate them. Wanted more. First time in Yosemite Burrito and loved it! Happy to see the beautiful architecture and cool storefront on Saxer ave. The staff were friendly, helpful in assisting with our order, and prepared our food quickly/accurately. Sanity measures and precautions were very good during these COVID-times. The Chorizo tacos were excellent. They had an authentic taste and the toppings were all very fresh. There were a ton of options to put on our tacos and the ordering kiosks made it easy to customize to exactly what we wanted. We also ordered a burrito bowl with impossible "ground meat" (vegan friendly). We were surprised to see this on the menu since most places don't have many alternative meat options. Next time we will be eating in to take advantage of the spacious upstairs dining area, BYOB, and the margarita mix on tap at the soda fountain. We will definitely be back! read more

So nice to have something different in the area aside from another pizza shop (but I mean who doesn't love pizza). We have ordered from here 4-5 times since they opened and the food has been great every time. They have an app which you can use on your phone or laptop to order, and you ca most in person or ahead of time which is super convenient!! Make sure you try to Jarritos Mandarin and the chorizo soft tacos...They are fire!! Tonight was the first time we had an issue with an order...sent an email thru the app so management could be aware and they called me within 20 minutes offering multiple ways to make it right. I spoke to Bob who couldn't have been nicer and was very accommodating. All in all for a business that opened during COVID I don't think it couldn't gone any better so far. My family is not eating out until who knows when, but rest assured when we do we will be dining in at Yosemite. Glad you chose Springfield!!! read more

I was very hopeful to find a locally owned restaurant to replace our occasional Chipotle nights and fill the hole in my heart after Sweet Taco closed. Let's start with the positives because when it comes down to it I really WANT to like Yosemite. The restaurant is clean and beautiful. The desserts are amazing Ordering online is much easier that having to call an order in. The downside The "braised beef" is ground beef. I was imagining something more like Barbacoa, tender and flavorful. I work in a hospital setting and this ground beef was very reminiscent of what I get in the cafeteria. Edible but I'm not going out of my way to get it. Honestly I'm not feeling any love in the food which is a huge shame. read more

This is the second time we have ordered from here. The first time was also Cinco de Mayo last year. That time it was pure mayhem...line out the door, over an hour wait. But the Manager and staff held up and we got our food. There were mistakes, but understandable, so we vowed to give them another shot. FF to today. I made sure to order it for 4:00, and called ahead to beat the rush. Worked great, got my food exactly on time. Due to circumstances, I ended up eating alone ahead of the family. We got 2 burritos and 2 quesadillas. If the family all enjoys their food, I'll up the rating. But as it is, the burrito I ate was not acceptable. I got an El Pastor burrito, with white rice, black beans, guac (additional $2.50) sour cream, onions and habanero salsa (additional .50). What I ate: A 10" long, 5" wide log of rice with some black beans wrapped in a nice soft tortilla. There were maybe 4 pieces of pork in there and one of them was inedible gristle. There MAY have been some small pieces as well, but no that I noticed. Also, there was less than 1 teaspoon of guac in there at most. There was clearly salsa, but not a lot. And more than a couple wads of plain rice (a big no no). It was tasty, but for $11.50, it was (again) not acceptable. I'm not sure if this was just a matter of the person who made it not caring or being under-trained, or a misguided attempt to cut costs. Great customer service when I called to verify my address because I made an error online. Very accommodating and professional. Everything was fresh and the food was delivered hot! Their dulce de leche churro is everything! The burrito was big too and as hungry as I was, couldn't finish it. We ordered multiple items. 2 salads, a burrito and a quesadilla. 1 of the salads was clearly a burrito bowl as there was hardly any lettuce and it came in a completely different container than the other salad. I called and was told they switched containers this week and someone used an old container My "salad" had barely any carnitas on it at all, which I guess was ok because although it was tender, it was flavorless. The quesadilla also had zero taste. The real salad was good and my son enjoyed his burrito, so there's that. I RAVE about Thunderbird and have used them for catering as well. Went here yesterday for dinner and ate in. Great decor, clean place, and friendly staff. My wife and I ordered a custom medium nacho platter with braised beef and a custom burrito with al pastor pork. The nachos were substantial and delicious. They were piled high with beef, street corn, lettuce, queso, pineapple, cream, and beans. You definitely get your money's worth with the nachos. The braised beef was flavorful as was everything else on the nachos. Our only regret after finishing the nachos was that there were no more nachos! As for the burrito, it was nothing special. We got it with al pastor pork. I think the issue that made it so-so is that the cilantro lime brown rice really lacked flavor and the al pastor pork, while having some flavor, was still pretty bland. Food was just ok. Burritos were definitely on the small side, and the amount of meat in them was very skimpy...mostly rice in there. I was very irritated with the french fries. The menu said they were boardwalk or shore fries, which is supposed to mean fresh cut right there in the store. These were shaped like shore fries, but were clearly frozen and had a light coating on them. That is not what boardwalk or shore fries are, so the menu is misleading. And an order of them was seven dollars. so the value of this place is definitely not there. Also extremely annoying was the inability to actually order from a person. You have to order from an iPad, and one of the two or three was not working properly. This is very impersonal, And actually takes longer to order because you have to navigate through several menus. Interior decor is very nice, but all the seating is up on the second floor, which it makes it very tedious to get additional toppings, napkins, refills, etc. All considered, not a pleasant visit, and I will not be returning at least as long as they have the iPads for ordering. read more
