Real deal. Super nice owner and the hoagies are fantastic. The place is down and dirty but don't let that stop you .

This place rocks. Their Classic Italian hoagie is unsurpassed. They use Dietz and Watson, and the meat is sliced paper-thin. Perfection!

I guarantee you're asking yourself is this heaven... a hoagie/sandwich heaven ? Yes .. yes it is. No one can match these beautiful mouthwatering creations . Roast Pork with broccoli-rabe, sharp provolone, long hots on a gutted roll. Simply Biblical. The Sicilian with oil and balsamic, add some long hots and this is a game changer. Fresh Mozzarella. Just be prepared to take a step back as you start to fall in love with this , thinking it just proposed to you after your first bite. Guaranteed euphoria as your taste buds begin to climax. Any sandwich will make you feel special, like you're that kid all over again opening that present for the first time. (Yo From the Sarcones rolls down to the freshly sliced meats to their cutlets , whatever you decide to go with you'll be winning. I said what I said, review over.

For years I raved about them to whoever would listen, but over the last couple of visits it seems there has been a change. I.e. they simply don't taste as good any more. Next, I've never been a fan of the rolls they use as they are huge and tough. Otherwise, parking is very easy and the staff are very pleasant and efficient.

The food is consistently fresh, portions are generous, and everything just tastes like it's made with care. Their breakfasts are top notch--perfect bread, with tons of options- not just white , wheat or rye...quality meats, and potatoes from heaven. You can tell they don't cut corners. Pancakes are also excellent. Although my request to get one in the shape of a unicorn was denied, only Mickey. LOL They have some homemade baked goods that are killer as well. Try the famous Bryan's Irish soda bread as your toast for a true taste reminiscent of the Emerald Isle. Better yet take one home, like I did. Lunch is fantastic as well...I just wish I could go for that more often. Try the "N" sammy if you like London broil. it's crazy good. What really stood out though was the service. Super friendly, quick, and they actually remember repeat customers. It's the kind of spot that feels local in the best way. Think Norm from Cheers. If you're anywhere near Media and want a solid, no-BS breakfast and lunch spot with a deli that delivers every time, this is it. Easily one of my go-to spots. I'm there every week. You should be too.

The menu includes lots of options not found elsewhere but we settled on the classic Benedict served on potato pancakes and the early bird special which was a deal. The poached eggs were perfect while the potato pancakes were a welcomed alternative to the usual English muffin pairing. The potato's that came with the scrambled eggs were fluffy inside, moist, and with a nice crisp exterior--hard to do and the best I've had hands down. The coffee is Ellis - William Penn which was very good. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient even though it got busy after we sat down. The restaurant is clean and modern yet feels homey at the same time--the cutlery is placed on the table in a small white paper bag which reminded me of a scene from the movie "As Good as it Gets" ---very cool. Good to know: seating is self serve with (plenty of) mostly booths and larger tables towards the back and breakfast is served all day!

On Sunday, July 25, 2026, the staff had a contest as to who could make the most authentic vomiting noise. This took place when a friend of mine was dining there. He said there was only himself and a few others. It was audible and disgusting. Even one of the older waitresses was participating in it. When he checked out, he complained to the desk clerk. The clerk told him to cool off or acted like it was nothing to complain about. The place is different since Marty died. I will not go there again. The staff should be fired for such a display of ignorance, disrespect and infantile behavior in front of customers. Sorry. It used to be a nice place to go.
