I visited Philly Krave for the first time yesterday, and unfortunately had a frustrating experience. As a first-time customer, I was unfamiliar with the ordering process. After being directed to the kiosk, I was unsure of what to do while waiting for my order. When an employee (who identified herself as the owner's wife) approached me, the way she addressed me regarding sitting down felt dismissive and unprofessional rather than welcoming. As a new customer who was already confused by the system, this left a poor first impression. I came in hoping for a great experience at a local business, but I felt disrespected during the interaction. I was hoping to try their ramen, but ended up ordering the shrimp tacos based on the suggestion of the day. I hope the management considers how they interact with new customers, as it really impacted my desire to return. Although the food was great and the owner was very kind and respectful, the way his wife acted wasn't very kind and professional. Maybe next time I'll DoorDash. read more

Funnel Cake? More like funnel fries disappointment. From the moment we walked in, the experience was a mess--starting with an invasive security pat-down at the door. What was supposed to be a "restaurant" turned out to be a loud bar with live strippers and dollar bills scattered across the floor. Definitely not the vibe we expected or were told to expect. As for the food--just look at this picture. I ordered funnel cake and got these limp, oily funnel fries with some mystery white crumbles on top. Zero presentation, wrong order, and no apology. This is my 3rd unsatisfied order from this restaurant. I tried them again for the 3rd time to try their crab soup. It was good but too many shells to really enjoy it. The steak bun on my jerk chicken cheesesteak was soo soft and soggy. felt like it was steamed. The steak was dry and burnt. Unfortunately, this is the third time that I've attempted to patronize this "business ". Usually they're never open during posted hours so it's taken me multiple times to even try to order food. Starting with customer service- it's non existent. You will spend 25+ min at the bar window attempting to order while the bbl brigade gets catered to immediately. You then have to wait another 15-25 minutes just to receive your change. I waited over 75 minutes for an order only to be asked what my order was again twice and still made to wait until I finally just requested a refund. The entire time he never went to prepare my order, he was smoking, drinking and talking to women openly in the bar. I successfully ordered food from this "restaurant " once and the food was very well seasoned. If you have time to waste in the name of "support " by all means please do. But if wanting a real opportunity at a meal after a 12 hour shift or even semi decent experience skip this bs. They say they're moving to a new location in Darby. Please be aware of who you're ordering from and their business practices before handing over your money. ETA Frivolously threatening legal action over a honest review speaks as to why your ratings nor service has not improved. I usually don't write reviews, only if the experience is horrible. I ordered jerk chicken Alfredo, lemon pepper Parmesan wings and fries with extra sauce on side (extra charge) and cheese (extra charge), and crème brûlée cheesecake. When my food comes EVERYTHING IS COLD!!! The wings are teeth breaking and bland.. there was nothing lemon pepper or Parmesan even sprinkled on these old dry wings. My pasta was extremely bland and dry with no extra sauce on side which I paid for. They sent me funnel cake instead of crème brûlée cheesecake because it was out of stock. That would have been disappointing but fine except for the funnel cake could crack cement and it was a dot of powdered sugar on this deep fried brick. This was an expensive meal to wind up in the trash. This was my first and last time ordering from here. read more

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I placed an order today for the jerk cheesesteak and Thai chilly shrimp. Instead I received the wrong order through door-dash which was missing the Thai chilly shrimp and replaced with quesadillas that I did not ask for. This seems to be consistent seeing as other reviews can attest to my dispute. Instead of the manager and staff just handling my order professionally, taking accountability redelivering it, he decided it was necessary to write a displeasing, threatening note and attach to my order. So now I how can I trust eating from here when I see the attitude and lack of hospitality that comes with making mistakes. read more

I was looking for a new quick restaurant to try & came across this place & was actually thoroughly impressed. I ordered the blackened salmon which was a pretty nice piece of fish & the sides were potatoes, large piece of broccoli & two baby pieces of corn. I know it's a review of the food But I want to talk about the level of care they had for me outside of serving me a great meal. I walked in in tears of having a bad night and when I came in Kareem and another Chef was polite and caring ;just wanted to make sure I was cool before I walked out and checked on me about 15 mins later to make sure I was safe. Doordash messed up our delivery order and only delivered half of our food. Sure doordash will give the money back but what we really wanted was our missing cheesesteak and the location was closing. The owner spoke with us personally and offered us free food from his other location which was still open. The food did not disappoint! We had both the jerk chicken and salmon Alfredo pastas, an excellent chicken cheesesteak and fish fried rice and I would recommend them all! Thanks Chef bullreem!! read more
