steak, lobster, and potatoes in a pan

Cute local pub that I like to visit when I'm in town. The food is always good and they are accommodating. It never hurts to ask. I ordered the chicken parm but wanted it baked and not breaded. Surprisingly it was not a busy night. Stop in and enjoy the Christmas decorations and the Delco local vibe.

Cool Pub that I found driving down i95 in Pennsylvania. I went with the Ny Strip since I was craving steak and it was ok. For the price it was cooked well, the med rare I asked for. It had no seasoning and a little dry but the table salt and pepper did wonders. It deff needed a sauce on it. The potato was nice and fluffy and it came with a house salad. Nothing bad to say about the place, it looked clean, service was good and food was average for a pub.

Different Cheesesteak #1185. Special Wednesday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. I was shocked at how many people were eating lunch at Erin Pub. A lot to love about Erin Pub. Based on everything else I thought the cheesesteak would be a lot better. Amigo Dan's half was meatier and cheesier. It was good but could have been better. Friendly, chatty bar crowd. Very welcoming. The special looked very good.

After not eating at the Erin pub for quite a few years decided to give it a try. Was thinking of my standing order Dozen clams on the half shell Tossed salad NY Strip w/ steak fries... Wasn't so hungry so did everything but the clams.. The salad was ok although really hate the deep fried croutons they are greasy and disgusting NY Strip was probably the worst steak I have ever had... I saw the owner asking people who sent in subpar reviews to check their inbox... Do me a favor instead of writing me a note send one to your meat purveyor... Looks like it will be even a longer time before I head back!

The restaurant efficiently handled our reservation and request for a table where Grandma wouldn't have to use steps. From the start our server was bubbly and genuine. Unfortunately we came for the founder which they were out of that evening but understandable with supply issues, my dining partner had no problem switching it up for the lobster tail. Meal was great and I'm only sad I don't live closer to this neighborhood gem.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. We went with the 20-piece Southern Country Garlic Wings and the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Overall, the flavor did not disappoint! The wings were incredibly delicious, packed with garlicky Southern flavor and served jumbo style, which was a nice touch. However, I do wish we had asked for them fried hard. The texture would've been much better that way. One small downside was the fatty bits left on the wings before frying, which made them a tad bit annoying to eat. At $26.99 for 20 wings, they were definitely on the pricey side. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls had a great crunch, but they were extremely small. Flavor-wise, they were decent, though I've had better. At $13.99, I expected a little more in size and portion. Despite a few minor critiques, we enjoyed our meal and appreciated the no fuss dinner option. Would I come back? Possibly, but next time I'm asking for those wings fried extra hard! Rating: 3.5
