I love this place. I have been going since I was a child. Now that I live in a different state, when I get back I love a visit. I just went again on Sunday. They have lots to park. We were welcomed when we arrived. The restaurant has many different sections which is great. They do a lot of events here. People come after first communions, birthdays, after funerals and just for a great meal. The atmosphere is so nice here. Jordan was our waitress and she was fantastic. She had many groups but she still gave us top notch service. All the food is great here but I absolutely love their deviled crab cake. I can't get good crab cakes where I live so I devour them when in PA. I also love their house salad. I did not get pictures of main course since dived into eating them. They have great desserts as well. I love their rice pudding and this time I tried the peanut butter dessert which was great. I have never had a bad meal here. It's a place that I love to visit and catch up with family and friends. read more

Cute local pub that I like to visit when I'm in town. The food is always good and they are accommodating. It never hurts to ask. I ordered the chicken parm but wanted it baked and not breaded. Cool Pub that I found driving down i95 in Pennsylvania. I went with the Ny Strip since I was craving steak and it was ok. For the price it was cooked well, the med rare I asked for. It had no seasoning and a little dry but the table salt and pepper did wonders. It deff needed a sauce on it. The potato was nice and fluffy and it came with a house salad. Nothing bad to say about the place, it looked clean, service was good and food was average for a pub. read more

I've been looking at pictures of the food here for like 2 years and we finally made it! I honestly don't have a bad thing to say or even a slight critique. Places like this need to be protected at all cost. From the Clam Tavern to the Bear Creek Inn upstate to the Crab Trap at the beach, the Erin Pub is one of those old school, no fuss, great food at super reasonable prices and there's a reason the line is out the door every night. The prime rib was one of the best I've ever had! The wings were super tender, right off the bone, I could have eaten a whole bag of the croutons. The lobster tail was super fresh and my daughter's filet was right up there with any high end steakhouse that would have charged $40 more. The service was a 10, everyone was so nice from the hostess to the servers. I love it here, we will be back, often! read more

Prices and portions are super decent. Service is always great. Krissy and Natalia are the best waitresses. Takeout lately there have been errors the last 5 take out orders. If they run out of something they will substitute without asking you - it's very odd to me especially when the items they will run out of is a main part of the dish. We were a group of 8. Retired co-workers, all women, meeting for a Christmas Time luncheon. Everyone enjoyed the meal, the drinks (I had Harp draft), the desserts, & even the coffee. Chelsea was our waiter and we all appreciated her patience and her excellent service. I forget the name of the hostess, but she also was very nice & friendly. We all had so much fun and will be back to Erin Pub in the Spring. And two of us drove over from South Jersey. After not eating at the Erin pub for quite a few years decided to give it a try. Was thinking of my standing order Dozen clams on the half shell Tossed salad NY Strip w/ steak fries... Wasn't so hungry so did everything but the clams.. The salad was ok although really hate the deep fried croutons they are greasy and disgusting NY Strip was probably the worst steak I have ever had... I saw the owner asking people who sent in subpar reviews to check their inbox... Do me a favor instead of writing me a note send one to your meat purveyor... The restaurant efficiently handled our reservation and request for a table where Grandma wouldn't have to use steps. From the start our server was bubbly and genuine. Unfortunately we came for the founder which they were out of that evening but understandable with supply issues, my dining partner had no problem switching it up for the lobster tail. They are striking out right and left!!! Third time in a row...horrible! Tonight I ordered the queen cut prime rib with mashed potatoes and a salad and a glass of wine. Potatoes and salad were good. The prime rib was like shoe leather! No, I didn't complain as they would want to give me something else. So I would have been waiting for the entree and my wife would be finished her dinner. The wine tasted like the cheapest bottle they could find. Last time my wife ordered the breaded shrimp and scallops, The dinner arrived almost burnt black...so dark. She ate it, but not happy. Mentioned it to server when she arrived with the check. She offered one dessert. The previous time, I ordered the breaded scallops. They arrived with the breading falling off and the scallops were not cooked. This time I sent them back to be zapped in microwave. Still not edible. I took them home and threw them in the trash! Occasionally I order the chicken parm. Sometimes its good. Sometimes the bottom is burnt or the chicken is tough and stringy. It's a 50/50 chance on this. Their draft beer is good! Service is slow even when they are not busy. Servers usually forget your sides. Their bread is so so. Their butter is lard! Truly worst butter ever!! This used to be a good place to go to. The Erin Pub harks back to an earlier time of Irish pubs. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is not bad. I had an okay sautéed fish, which came with a salad of mostly iceberg lettuce and a very good baked potato. My date had a steak which he said was pretty good. Went with my father the other day. The beer was ice cold, the prime rib cooked to perfection. It really feels like you're in a pub in Ireland inside but with Delco accents. The next time you are anywhere near Norwood, you absolutely must go to Erin's pub! This is the best restaurant I have found in the area. The variety of food offered at this place ranges from really high-end seafood and steaks to your regular old burger and fries. I absolutely love it and I have been back a ton of times. One of my favorite things to start every meal with the steamed clams. The price is really good and the quality is fantastic. I personally like the butter, but I know they offer a couple of other sauces. One of my other favorite things here is the wings - they come in variety of flavors, including a garlic Parmesan. They have full bar and a variety of custom cocktails that they will make for you. In the holiday season I really like the pumpkin cocktail. The service here is fantastic, and every server you can tell his committed themselves to making a good representation for Erin - whoever that is! Depending on the time of day or day of the week, that you happen to go here the ambience changes. Service was very rude and treated us very poorly. Having worked in the Food Service industry for more than 30 years, nothing could have prepared me for the way we were treated. We arrived at 3:30pm ( party of 2) asked if we could sit along the wall. (Half booth) because my friend is elderly and has difficulties. The hostess wasn't sure if she could seat us there due to the rotation. She checked to see if it would be okay, made us wait an additional 5 minutes, and I overheard the woman say, " If we can't do it, just let them leave." We were finally seated and the server took our order for a Bacon Cheeseburger and a Rubin. As we waited, (approx 10 minutes) the other server, (manager?) came to our table and told us that they are no longer serving lunch items after 4pm. I looked at my phone and saw it was 4:02pm. Our order has been in for more than 10 minutes, they should have just let us eat and leave. So rude and classless. read more

When your in a neighborhood and everyone seems to be at the same eatery, you are most likely in the right place! I stopped in around 1pm for lunch and found parking hard to come by in their lot. I wound up parking on the street (metered parking) and failed to see a second parking lot down the street. Lesson learned. The inside of the building seemed like it had endless seating. There was upstairs seating, booth seating, restaurant style seating, another area of seating I didn't even go through and finally bar seating where I chose to sit. The bartender was busy preparing drinks for the waitresses, but she was prompt in serving and helping me. As a first timer, she took the time to recommend plenty of lunch options, but when she said Prime Rib with two sides, I was all in. I don't frequent many places that serve Prime Rib with lunch so I jumped on it and I was not disappointed. The serving size was smaller than the usual massive Prime Rib, but it was delicious, tender, swimming in Au Jus, topped with yummy mushrooms and a perfect portion for lunch. The mashed potato's and green beans were great company and the meat was not loaded with fat. I think my bill was under $15 and for that money the value was 100% there. The entire time I was there people were still filing in for lunch. I can see why this place is so popular and why friends recommended a visit. From the outside, I wasn't expecting much but I walked in to a warm, inviting pub with a full bar and lots of seating with nostalgic feel to it. We didn't have to wait long on a Saturday night but it was already busy at 5pm and filled up quickly. There were so many things to choose from on the menu. We started with crab cakes and mussels in a white wine sauce. The crab cake was full of meat and the mussels were perfect, especially with the warm bread served for dipping. We could;dn't stop eating bread and dipping it in the broth, it was out of control. I got the stuffed shrimp for dinner and it was very hearty. The service was good and we were served promptly for a weekend. My only complaint was the wine selection. I know it's a pub but the only wine they carried was Sutter Home (yikes!). read more

But the hot roast beef sandwich was inedible, every bite I had to remove with my fingers, gristle in every bit - disgusting. I was grossed out to order a cold roast beef sandwich, so I didn't eat. Only giving one star for SERVICE! If i could give none i would!! So went to the Erin pub tonight & got there at 630pm & they had an hour wait for walk ins. I said "that's fine" & Put my name down. An hour goes by & i go back to the hostess stand & said "hey just checking how far i am" & the hostess LISA got a nasty attitude & said "i told u that it was an hour wait a half hour ago" & i said "i said no the other girl who took my name down said an hour" & LISA with her nasty attitude kept saying "no its only been a half hour" so i said "i put my name down at 6:30pm & it's now 7:30pm" & LISA said "well ur just a walk in not a reservation". Well i then called another restaurant to see how long their wait time was(which it was a shorter wait) & went to tell the people i was with that i just put a reservation down somewhere else that was a faster wait time & as i was leaving LISA turned around to me & said with her nasty attitude again "I SAID WAIT TIME WAS AN HOUR & A HALF" & My father, my boyfriend & myself turned around & said "we need the manager b/c ur attitude is not ok" & LISA telling us "u can leave now I'm not getting the manager i told the wait time". Finally the manager came out & tried to resolve the issue but LISA kept giving nasty cocky looks, cracking, & still running her mouth behind the manager & the manager did nothing about it! read more

I've always thought that the Crab Imperial at the Erin Pub was the best that I'd ever had. But I had it for lunch today and it was dry and at best mediocre. I had even told my lunch companion that they didn't need to look at the menu because they should just get the Crab Imperial. Big mistake. This experience won't keep me from returning to the restaurant but I'll not order the Crab Imperial again. The coleslaw is still awesome! read more

I must note my deep displeasure at my recent experience at The Erin Pub, my guest and I arrived at 3:45pm, and in speaking to the hostess at the door, I specifically asked if we had made it in time for the Lunch menu. We were assured that we did, and were given Lunch menues and shown to our seats. After a while, we ordered, and we ordered directly off of the Lunch menus, in fact I even asked about some of the items directly from that Lunch menu. When the bill came, were were charged for the much higher Dinner Menu prices, as I noticed that out tab had not been "entered" until a few minutes after 4:00pm. It seems the wait was geared to keep us off of the Lunch Menu and its prices, and slip in the nearly double prices for Dinner. A truly unprofessional move. As my family has - or had - been coming to The Erin Pub for decades, I found this duplicity an utter slap in the face to a patron, especially as I actually did much to assure we arrived by and were still within the Lunch time. Call my displeasure what you will, but the duplicity of the pricing that was sprung on us was not in keeping with what had been a family-favorite restaurant, and it is now a game-changer. read more
