A watercolor artwork shows a woman with shoulder-length hair sitting at a table, with her hands resting on a cloth. Behind her are decorations including a blue T-shirt with 'Union Docks Glenside, PA' and a banner with 'London Pride' and a Union Jack flag. The background is yellow, and the scene appears to celebrate British culture or a themed event. The artwork is signed and dated April 2024.

This is the place to get your soccer fix. I come for the amazing cheeseburgers and relaxing summers on the deck. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the vibe is a relaxed, neighborhood spot.

Menu showing sauce prices - The menu from Union Jack's Pub in Glenside, PA, features a list of wing sauces such as Tex-Mex BBQ, Honey-Carib, BBQ, Charbroiled Jamaican Jerk, Cajun 'Almost' Dry Rub, Lemon Pepper Parm, Thai-Sesame, Mexi Jalapeño, Habanero, Southern Country, Hot Southern Country, Honey BBQ, Honey Apple BBQ, Bourbon Molasses, Pineapple Honey Habanero, and Rump Roaster (Hot). Each sauce includes a brief description, and additional charges apply for extra sauces. The menu emphasizes spicy, sweet, and savory flavors for wing sauces.

Union Jack's - Came in for happy hour but there was nothing happy about it! I stopped at Union Jack's Old Glory Pub in Glenside with a friend before dropping him at the Jenkintown train station. We had some time to kill and I'd heard good things about their wings, so we decided to try it. Unfortunately, our visit was one frustration after another. We were seated outside at 3:59 PM and told our server we were short on time. We immediately ordered: a beer (happy hour), a cocktail (not on happy hour, fine by me), and two happy hour appetizers -- wings ($10) and poppers ($5). The beer came quickly, but my cocktail took about 10 minutes despite the place not being busy (two other outdoor tables already had their food). When the drink finally arrived, it was dripping down the stem. No napkins were provided, and the server had already walked away. I had to call after her to request some, only to be told she'd be back -- (a neighboring table offered us some of theirs, saying they had to ask too.) At 4:17 PM, the server returned to inform us they were out of poppers -- one of only three happy hour food items. This should have been mentioned when we ordered, not 20 minutes later. At that point it was too late for me to order anything else for dine-in, so I decided to get 20 wings to-go (to share with my neighbor, who loves their wings) along with onion rings. The wing menu lists "Mild, Medium, Hot & Suicidal" sauces as included, and says "Specialty Wing Sauce add .25 for each 10 ordered." I confirmed with the server that the specialty sauce fee was 25¢ per 10 wings, so I ordered three sauces and asked for the included mild on the side as well. At 4:30 PM, my friend's wings finally arrived -- giving us barely 10 minutes to eat before heading to the train. We asked for both checks (one dine-in, one to-go). Both bills were wrong. The happy hour wings were charged at $12.99 instead of $10. The to-go wings ($26.99 on the menu) were charged at $30.15. When I questioned this, I was told the extra was for sauce -- but now it was "79¢ each for to-go" instead of the 25¢ I was told earlier and that was printed on the menu. At that point we had to leave for the train, so we just paid and decided to call later. At 5:00 PM after dropping my friend at the train, I called to speak with a manager -- none on duty. I left my name and number. At 9:30 PM, still no call back, so I called again and spoke to the bar manager, who listened and said she'd speak to the owner. She called back the next morning to say the owner would refund me $2.52 (the difference between the price on the menu and what they actually charged) but couldn't put it back on my card -- I'd have to come in and pick it up. That was it. No apology, no offer to make it right, no incentive to return! This wasn't just about $2.52 -- it was the entire poor experience: slow service, lack of communication, incorrect bills, misleading menu pricing, and an owner who clearly doesn't value customer satisfaction. With so many options in the area, I choose to support businesses that appreciate my business. This one does not! And for the record -- I did not return for the $2.52 and the wings weren't even worth the trouble!

Love Union Jack's Pub - it is my husband & my 1st time here! Will 100% come back! Bartenders are so friendly, eclectic decorations, decent prices, VERY bar, large TVs, and more! Food Menu items include chicken sandwiches, half-pound house hamburgers, wings, etc. Our waitress says the most-ordered, food item is nonbreaded wings. Mild, medium, & pineapple honey habañero are the flavors most beloved by locals. Please your palate and visit this joint!

Spicy Cajun Chicken Sandwich - A man with dark hair and a beard, wearing a black hoodie with a sports logo, is seated at a wooden table in a bar or pub. The table has a plate with fries, some leftover food, and crumpled napkins. In the background, other patrons are visible, including a woman looking at her phone, with a bar area and neon signs behind her. The ceiling has decorative tin tiles, and the atmosphere appears lively and casual.

The service was decent, but the food was to DIE for. Very happy with our food and beers. Will be back.

Drinks - A can of DownEast Original Blend craft cider and a pint glass filled with beer bearing the New Belgium Brewing logo are positioned on a table. The background shows a person in a blue shirt and other glasses, indicating a social or dining environment, possibly outdoors or in a casual bar or restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch last Sunday. My boyfriend lives close by so it's very convenient. They have a nice selection of craft beers so my boyfriend tried something new and I tried a cider. We ordered hot wings and loaded fries. The fries were loaded which was nice considering it seems like most places don't put enough of the toppings on. The wings were good but the hot sauce wasn't a classic hot wing sauce that I'm used to and prefer. Had a lot of pepper in it. Next time I might try a different wing sauce-they offer lots of choices!

It's a good place to watch Liverpool game. Super friendly owner and staff. There are outdoor seatings at the side. We were sitting at the back next to the AC and I was freezing. I had to buy a sweatshirt to keep me warm. I'm small and they only had medium size. I didn't care about the size, I took anything to make me comfortable. Salad with crab cake. I love the crab cake because there's not much filler. Good portion size. Wings: a lot of topping options. I had apple bbq, delicious.

Came here last night on a whim and didn't regret it. The food and drinks here were outstanding. The loaded waffle fries were perfectly layered with all the fixings. The honey apple bbq wings were thoroughly cooked and drenched in sauce. I wasn't going to drink, but I just had to try the hot buttered rum. It was very strong. The atmosphere was pretty chill. Everyone was just hanging around watching the Cowboys vs Colts game. Would definitely come back here. Service was good too. A+ to all staff.

great find! the service was nice, especially for the busy night we came in on! they have indoor and outdoor seating- and dogs are allowed for the outdoor seating! inside is just a typical bar! The food is great with many vegetarian options too!

A white oval plate contains fried fish fillets topped with chopped herbs and onions, accompanied by thick-cut potato chips. A small container of tartar sauce is placed on the side of the plate. The dish is set on a wooden table, with a basket of grilled meat and a paper liner visible in the background.

The best wings in Montco. I dream of the Thai Spicy wings. Make sure you put in your order early for the Super Bowl.

It took a minute to get a table and then waited a little for a server, but once she came by and got the drink and food order, everything went very quickly. I had the falafel wrap, which was excellent, and it came with a side Caesar salad, also excellent. Good prices, too; the 16-ounce Miller Lites were only four dollars each. I'd definitely stop by here again when I'm in Glenside for a show at the Keswick. It's probably a good idea to reserve a table on concert nights. There were only two people in my party and they got us in, but it was very busy, so something to keep in mind for next time.

Pros: Conveniently located right across from the Keswick…read moreTheatre--perfect for a quick bite before a show. It's clearly a neighborhood favorite because it was packed. The bar area was quite large and it appears in the warmer weather that one of the exterior walls retracts. Our server, Rachael, was wonderful: friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. The drink menu included one of my favorite ciders, and the tap lines must be well-maintained because it tasted exactly as it should. The fries were simple but surprisingly good. Cons: Unfortunately, the food itself really missed the mark. The fried pickles were unlike any we've had--and we order them often. They were overloaded with greasy batter that tasted more like a donut than a savory appetizer. The wings were another disappointment. We love wings and usually finish an order easily, but these had an overwhelming vinegar flavor that made them tough to eat. We ended up leaving almost half the order. Overall: The standout of the entire visit was the service. If we could sit in Rachael's section again, we might consider giving the place a second chance--but strictly for the service, not the food.

I kept suggesting we go there one night for dinner and finally on a bustling Saturday evening we did! We were asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside and we chose outside so we could listen to the music and enjoy the ambience. We perused the menu and decided to start with a cocktail. I ordered "the Unicorn" which is described as having "assorted fruit liquor" and the server told me they were out of the fruit liquor. So I went with Robert's dew, while my bf got the Dragonberry mojito. Our drinks arrived fairly quickly and they were decent. We decided to start with the cheesesteak egg rolls as an app and for our entrees I did the crab cakes and he did the fried chicken. The egg rolls were also served very quickly, but it was at this moment we realized we had no silverware or napkins while everyone around us had cloth napkins on their laps. We managed to flag down our server and asked for napkins. She came back with cocktail napkins. It was our fault for not explaining we did not have silverware either, but our table was bare so we didn't realize we needed to be more specific. The egg rolls were served with a spicy ketchup, and were hot and delicious, with fried onions and a crispy coated outer shell. When our entrees arrived we still didn't manage to get silverware but the person delivering our food brought it over quickly. Now it's at this point I should mention I'm quite the foodie, who not only dines out frequently but also loves to cook. My crab cakes were a little on the "fishy" side and lacked flavor. All of the flavor was on the lemon aioli they were served with. That being said, they were definitely filled with crab and didn't seem to contain much filler. They just need some additional seasoning. The risotto it was served with could also use seasoning as well. My bfs fried chicken was served with French fries, Cole slaw, and corn bread. I tasted it and would give it all a 3/5 rating. Not bad at all, but nothing to rave about. It was on the dry side and again lacked flavor. We were considering dessert since we saw there were a few cookie style skillets when we looked up the menu in advance, but we were on the fence about if we should. When our server didn't ask if we wanted dessert we opted to skip it this time. Overall, the ambience is fun and it's a great place for a drink and apps with friends. The flatbread pizza seemed to be the star of the show and I think next time we will order from the sandwich, burger, or pizza menu rather than a full on dinner. Our server was HUSTLING and may have had a few tables inside too, which can be stressful, plus the restaurant was busy. We will come back and try again.

Prices are fair other than drink prices which were a little high. The food was delicious and had a nice appearance. The crab on the creamy linguini tasted surprisingly fresh as well. Every staff member was extremely polite as well. I will say, there were a couple individuals who appeared to be regulars that acted as if they were over served and when they left, the bartender said "I love you guys, have a good one," which was a little much even if it's for the sake of getting tips from regulars who aren't responsible enough to hold their liquor properly. The same patrons at the bar were also extremely loud which reminds you that it is a "bar" and not a fancy restaurant despite the amazing food and staff. The food and professionalism from the majority of the staff simply did not match the appearance of the workers who wore personal t-shirts which makes the whole experience feel a lot more casual despite the prices. Regardless we will be back due to the treatment from the staff and the great food!
