    Happy hour

Great service and vibes, drinks always made well. The best cheesesteaks you will ever have (at an unbeatable price). The perfect spot to watch the eagles games, catch up with friends, or even a solo lunch date.

The 9th street sounded great but ended up being pretty dry. The pickles were also pretty soaked from the oil they were fried in. The food wasn't bad, just not that good. The building itself looks really appealing, but the staff was mostly young girls all dressed as if they couldn't get a job at hooters, or were too young to...

Saturday night , place was PACKED! It was way too loud inside so we decided to sit outdoor table. We worried about cold weather but there was heater above! Which kept us warm! Ordered firecracker nacho and 10 pieces wing , wing sauce was too salty! I would rather have it on side next time Nacho portion was huge Server was attentive and kind

On July 25, 2025, we brought our team to MaGerks Fort Washington for a work outing for the second year in a row, 9 employees and had the most HORRIBLE experience with the service. Our waiter (John B) had no customer service skills, no emotion, disinterested in attending to us, and eventually annoyed by the end of the night. We sat outside having a great time, laughing and joking, amongst our group. Without warning, by the waiter, we were told we were no longer able to order drinks. We kindly asked for the manager, Nicole, for an explanation, she threw the waiter under the bus, saying it was his call. The manager had no managerial skills. After being forced to leave a 20% tip for horrible service from John B and paying the almost $900, we were suddenly asked to leave with a BS explanation. Not kind of vibe you want when you're trying to relax and enjoy time with your employees at the end of a work week. MaGerks will NEVER get our business again!

Settling in with delicious scoop brisket side & mimosas

Awesome menu- huge variety of items to choose from that are not your typical American fare. We had an amazing, salmon salad, the triple J Burger and everyone should try the scoop brisket side. It's these delicious potato skin style scoops with brisket. Absolutely outstanding can't wait to go back.

Best place to get bar food in the area as there are a ton of appetizer options. The tempura pickles are perfectly crispy, and all the nacho options are great (especially the firecracker and southwest). I did not love the sliders (the bread was hard, burgers were tiny) and the loaded mac n cheese was bland. The mixed drinks have been good each time I've gone.

Good Appetizers, food came out pretty quick. The meat on the nachos was under seasoned but everything was good.

We went with the 20-piece Southern Country Garlic Wings and the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Overall, the flavor did not disappoint! The wings were incredibly delicious, packed with garlicky Southern flavor and served jumbo style, which was a nice touch. However, I do wish we had asked for them fried hard. The texture would've been much better that way. One small downside was the fatty bits left on the wings before frying, which made them a tad bit annoying to eat. At $26.99 for 20 wings, they were definitely on the pricey side. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls had a great crunch, but they were extremely small. Flavor-wise, they were decent, though I've had better. At $13.99, I expected a little more in size and portion. Despite a few minor critiques, we enjoyed our meal and appreciated the no fuss dinner option. Would I come back? Possibly, but next time I'm asking for those wings fried extra hard! Rating: 3.5

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.
