First time and I was so disappointed. I called ahead asking if they cook burgers to temp. I was told yes. Friend and I ordered margaritas which were all sour mix and hardly any lime or tequila flavor at all. Ordered a burger med rare and was really looking forward to eating. The first came out medium well. Took forever to get server to come to sent it back. No apologies took it and had them remake it the next was medium well. Came to Magerks in Horsham this evening to watch the Flyers game and grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere was lively--definitely on the louder side, but it was a Saturday night of a holiday weekend, so that was expected. Our waitress was super friendly, and when we asked if she could put the Flyers game on, she took care of it right away. I decided to try the Smashburger Nachos since I'd seen them all over their social media and they looked amazing. The portion size is absolutely gigantic--seriously, plan to share with four or five people because it comes out on what's basically a pizza tray. Unfortunately, I wasn't all that impressed with the flavor. The burger meat tasted more like taco meat, which threw me off because I was expecting more of a Big Mac vibe. It also had a bit of spice to it, which I wasn't expecting (and I'm not big on spicy foods), so that didn't help the experience. To make up for it, I ordered the fried pickles, but those also missed the mark for me. They're served as spears instead of chips, so when you take a bite, the whole pickle slides right out of the breading. They also stay extremely hot no matter how long you let them cool. Just not my preferred style. On the bright side, my husband ordered what I believe was a Power Bowl with grilled chicken, cranberries, Brussels sprouts, goat cheese, and maple vinaigrette. It looked delicious--very much a keto-friendly dish--and he really enjoyed it. I'd honestly love to try recreating it at home. Overall, I didn't have the best luck with my dishes, but the service was great, and my husband's meal was excellent. A hometown favorite! Lots of dining space, big portions, & great atmosphere to watch games or even NYE! Recently tried the cheesesteak, but wasn't the biggest fan of the roll. However, I am a HUGE fan of the nachos, particularly the Southwest. It's not skimpy and can easily be shared with multiple people (or as I do, order it just for myself as a meal). 4/24/26 We had a very disappointing experience. At MaGerks Horsham. Our waitress was rude and unwelcoming. Unfortunately the manager was no better when we tried to address the situation. We were part of a large group that had been purchasing drinks throughout the night, When we sat down for dinner we felt completely mistreated. She told the manager that we called her names and it was COMPLETELY false. We felt so uncomfortable after being accused of something we did not do and his aggressive demeanor that we left. Even after speaking with the hostess, nothing improved and the attitude remained unprofessional. We ultimately decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. Definitely not the level of service we expected. Spend your money elsewhere you will have a better time. We will be making sure to spread the word about our awful time. read more

I had never been here before. I was prepared for a lot of TV's. I was prepared for noise. But this place is next level noisy. It echoes. We went for lunch on a weekend. We were seated in what would be outside seating in nicer weather. So there was a lot of plastic. It was drafty. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. Five stars for the waitress. We both ordered the hot roast beef sandwich and cokes. My companion also got a side of mac and cheese. The cokes tasted like they were shy of syrup...or maybe carbonation. Not sure, but something was off. The roast beef sandwiches were the worst I've ever tasted. The beef was dry and tasted old. There may have been cheese on them, but it was hard to tell. If so it was melted into the buns. The buns were the taste, texture and consistency of store bought hot dog buns. Not exactly appetizing. The mac and cheese we bland and tasteless, which is odd considering there were bits of jalapeño in it. Overall a very disappointing meal. It is so annoying that the people answering the phones at atleast the Horsham location doesn't not know their policies. Today called asking if they allow dogs in their outside seating and without hesitation she said yes we allow dogs but then we were turned away after driving there as they only allow service animals. I love the menu at MaGerk's, especially the ribs and Cobb salad. This Horsham MaGerk's is very clean. I watched as the hostess was washing each laminated menu with a disinfectant wipe. I always have good service and friendly wait staff. You can order and have curbside delivery after 5. Highly recommend. read more

We celebrated Mother's Day Dinner early (Saturday). There were kids screaming and running around the place while people were dining. People at the bars were yelling, telling them to be quiet. Other customers were completely in shock. Our server said, "oh there was some Communion celebration", as if everyone else in the place were expected to tolerate screaming. It went on for several minutes and it was clear that not a single leader or manager intervened until much, much later. The place is family friendly, but I did not see an indoor playground. These kids were literally running around the restaurant - upstairs - and screaming! Unbelievable. We spent a lot of money this place and it was the worse Mother's Day Dinner I have every experienced. We cannot recommend this place for anything that resembles dining. Bad, real bad. Recommendations: Have servers test food that they recommend. Customers need honest, candid feedback and recommendations. Leader should intervene early when guests are distracting the entire restaurant. Give a warning, then ask the offender parties to leave. The food was really good. I ordered the teriyaki boneless wings which were delicious. My friend ordered the Buffalo boneless wings which were OK, could have used a little more spice (kind of mild). My boyfriend ordered the Birria tacos, he enjoyed them, but there was only two tacos which is not very filling. His friend ordered the stuffed pretzel with crab; he said it was good. I don't usually give 1-Star reviews but MaGerk's deserves ZERO stars. Look my review history and you'll see I'm fair but firm. I went to Magerks tonight and ordered Wings cooked LIGHT. That means NOT crispy. These wings came out hard as a rock. How hard is it to cook wings light? What ever time it takes to cook it...take them out 2 mins earlier! If you look closely you can see some of the wings STILL HAVE FEATHERS ON THEM. I let the bartender know we weren't eating these tarred and feathered wings. She took them away....but she came back a minute later claiming "hey I'm going to throw these out if you don't eat them." And sat the wings back in front of us. We did not eat these wings. Pushed them to the side actually. I noticed something was off when a busboy dropped off our check. Usually your server(the bartender in this case) gives you the check. That is disrespectful to have someone else serve the check after pulling a stunt like that. Of course the wings were on the bill. A customer tell you they aren't eating something and are clearly dissatisfied so you charge them anyway? Someone DM me and lmk if this is just how Magerk's operates. Is anyone else tired of sneaky crap like this? Our bartender was not busy. She could have spared the minute to explain that garbage. They prolly throw more food out than they sell every day. It would not have hurt this woman to throw the wings out and leave it off the bill. They would have taken flight if she threw them in the air with all the feathers still on them. A chain as big as this should hire better bartenders. Hiring someone just because you think they look good is unacceptable. Our bartender said she worked at Hooters previously and it shows. This is the same kind of treatment you get at Hooters: lousy food, shoddy drinks and bartenders that do not care if you like the food. MaGerks is a disgrace. A more accurate rating would be 3 1/2 but with halves not being an option I'm rounding down. Both the outside and inside of MaGerks are welcoming. Big bright open dining areas uncluttered and decorated with nostalgic sports team photos. Rustic wood all around and an amazing open wall to outdoor dining equipped with heaters for cooler nights. The bathrooms clean and fully stocked. Food: The nachos a full pizza tray loaded with toppings. More than enough for a meal in itself. Fresh made chips crafted thick enough to bear the weight of said toppings and remain crisp to the bite. The burger juicy and flavorful the bacon jam on point. However despite having house made tortillas they dropped the ball and plated the burger with a bag a chips. Not fries, not house made chips, but a snack size bag alongside my $12 burger. In all honesty I would have preferred them not even put anything with the burger. Mom enjoyed the Mac and cheese and I couldn't help but sample and agree it was tasty. However I was handed a cardboard box to take the leftovers home. Probably one of the most ridiculous things I've encountered. Not quite the proper vessel for leftover oozy mac and cheese. Weighing the pros and cons. The cons weighted more disappointment than the pros provided so if I went back it would most likely be to their other location. read more

Party of 2 dined in on Saturday evening. It was only 4:30pm but the place was already busy. My friend ordered cheesesteak egg rolls and french fries with cheese, and i ordered crabcake grilled cheese and 10 wings (i was pretty starving after working) I don't know how i feel about my food, First, Crabcake grilled cheese was not that good. Server says there is alotta crabmeat in there, but i think because of taste of grilled cheese and crunch bread, i could hardly taste crabcake, and it was $18 (honestly, mcdonald burger could have been better) Second, i ordered half and half wings ; teriyaki sauced and hot sauced. Teriyaki ones were fine but then hot wings were way too dry and overcooked. After one bite, i had to tell the server how bad it was when she stopped by, I told her it's way too dry, then she asked "what do you want me to do about that?" So i said i rather get just all teriyaki. It's way too dry and overcooked. I even showed it to her (attached photo) Then she said "I don't know how you'd like your wings to be cooked, but that's how we serve. I will put a new order in for you" Then new 10 pieces were brought to me with extra huge side of teriyaki sauce.. I expected only five. The server said she only meant to put in for five but they received as 10 with extra sauce in the kitchen. Newly served wings were nice and hot, juicy compared to the previous dry overcooked ones. Even visually, it looked dry but I couldn't understand the server's word , as if i was making unreasonable request, i felt, But 10 pieces wings was $15 which is $1.50 per pieces i was not going to waste half of my money for that overcooked wings (i would rather have mcdonad chicken nuggets....) There were 4 of us for lunch on a Saturday at around 12:30. Although the parking lot was fairly full, the inside of the place was bigger than expected and we had no trouble getting a table. The place is huge as well as the size of the menu - which in this case was a problem. With so many items it can be hard for the kitchen to perfect them all. The Chicken Fingers with fries were good as was the Mac & Cheese. The salmon on the Lemon Salmon Salad was way over cooked to the point of being dry. A Junior Whopper - even without cheese, far surpasses the $13 Brewery Burger which also was on the dry-side. With one beer and 2 sodas the bill before tip was around $66. This was at least the 3rd time I've been here and most likely will be my last. read more

We visited in January (so it's very cold outside), and they sat us on their closed off "sun room". Came here for the game 4 of the World Series of the Phillies v astros. Sadly we lost but overall this place was great. Great atmosphere, vibes, people cheering and booing, clean place and the servers were attentive! Ordered the backyard burger with fries and chips on the side. Well the food is definitely much much better in person. We ended up sharing appetizers and nachos, and all were delicious. For the table we ended up getting cheesesteak eggrolls, boneless sesame teriyaki wings, southwest nachos, and the Mediterranean board. The wings were really good, nice crunch and plenty of ranch and blue cheese for dipping. The cheesesteak egg rolls were big and the spicy ketchup went really well with them. The nachos were definitely the favorite and the biggest item, plenty to feed four people. The nachos were nice and crunchy and the toppings were dispersed perfectly so we all got lots of cheese and chicken. I didn't even know this location existed until last weekend! I'd only ever been to the original location which I love! Met up with a bunch of former coworkers. We had a great time. I can't get over how fabulous MaGerks was last night! I was a fan of this place but after last night I am a super fan ! The grilled cheese crab cake sandwich was surprisingly amazing! The crab cake was one of the best I have had in recent memory, packed with lump crabmeat, no imitation junk ! It was so good I can't stop thinking about it ! The nachos are always great , had the Nashville hot and they we're definitely HOT and not for the non heat lovers. I will say that the consensus was that the southwest chicken nachos would be our preference, theses were really good! I had the hot roast beef sandwich , I don't think I ever ordered this before but it will be my go to from now on. It was really , really good and far better then a hot roast beef sandwich I had at a competitor down the street with the letters PJ in its name , not even close! I really enjoy the food at Magerks, especially the nachos. Never had a bad experience service wise once we sat down. My only biggest complaint is on nights of sporting events, especially more popular ones, there needs to be some type of time limit on tables. My boyfriend and I went one night for dinner when the Eagles were playing, told the wait would be 45min, that's fine we're patient people. We waited TWO hours. Watched people done their food but continued to order drinks. I am in this shopping center all the time but finally decided to get food for dinner. I got the nachos to go and wings. The wings were pretty typical but the nachos were to die for! Food was good, but our server was nowhere to be found most of the night and seemed to either avoid us or run off whenever we looked her direction or needed something. No napkins. Empty water. Only ordered one beer in two hours.
