I think I just had the BEST burger I've had in a dogs age. For reals!…read moreWe had a long day driving back from Cape cod and wanted not to deal with cooking something for supper. Most familiar places were closed, it being Monday so we took to Google to see what our options were. We just wanted burgers. Nothing fancy. We got seated right away and got to peruse the menu. Simple and to.the point. More than reasonable prices for how excellent the food is. Nothing over $20 on the menu. Seriously. I got the maple bbq burger. Now, the only note I have is the bacon could've been crispier. Other than that, it was juicy, full of flavor, cooked perfectly and all elements worked in harmony. The bbq sauce wasn't too sweet or ketchup-y like some and the maple bacon was YUM. My mom got the cheese burger with cooper sharp and it was heavenly. The tomatoes were just bursting with flavor. The decor is geared towards music. We had an old pic of Sonny & Cher with Bob Dylan. It was hard to look at given how changed Cher is from her um... enhancements. The ceiling is covered with old concert.posters & it was a hoot picking all of the ones I LURVE out (old Bowie poster.from the 70s to start). The dedicated parking lot is also a huge plus for busy weekend nights! So far I've only had the Pony Club cocktail, which was absolutely fantastic! Hubs has also enjoyed all of the beers he's tried to date. Food is good, but nothing special. The fries are super tasty and they actually make a mean grilled cheese (on the lunch menu). Nothing has been out of this world and there have been small inconsistencies with the menu, but it does the job and the drinks are what matter!

I went with a flight, and was about 50/50 on the four. The IPAs were good - I had the version 2 and a hazy. They weren't overly hoppy but very "crushable". I also got the watermelon seltzer, but I'm not sure that's what was poured, as I tasted neither watermelon or the effervescence that comes with seltzer. Wasn't a fan of the Buddha stout, it just seemed to fall short on the body. The pierogis were really good - highly recommend them to accompany your beer!

It's truly unfortunate- they have a great menu and Souderton deserves a restaurant that can deliver on it. Admittedly, it's tough to find a good steak in the area but what Northbound served me was upsetting for the price point- an unevenly cooked sirloin with a green, scaly glisten. I understand a green tinge to beef is nothing to be concerned about but to me, this indicates a low quality cut of beef. Northbound has the chance to be a truly exceptional restaurant. I hope they can tighten up some of their food suppliers and kitchen practices.

We both had burgers and they were really good, maybe great for that type of burger. Rolls we're fresh and it was actually cooked how I asked, medium rare. My husband got his medium and mine was definitely a little more pink. Usually it doesn't matter what you ask for, you get medium well. Not here! Thank you for listening. The real hit though we're the fries! They done to perfection in clean oil! Most places like this, you can tell they haven't cleaned the fry-a-lator in a awhile. The service was amazing. Food came out so fast like they anticipated our order. The place was t crowded and they didn't mind that we sat and took our time. We didn't feel rushed at all but we're also very well looked after. The drink prices were very fair. A little cheaper than other boogie type bars, so that was great. And, they were actually strong drinks. Many bars do not really give you a double when you ask for them. My only complaint, as with most places, is that drinks with soda in them do not belong in pub glasses. The shape of the glass makes the soda go flat. However, I do realize that bars are not going to also carry a large pint size glass that is cylindrical. I try to get past this because the alternative is usually a very small, narrow glass that doesn't work well for a double shot and sofa. We'll be back to try the wings!
