    Gin martini

One of my fav restaurants in the area. The drinks are fantastic- I love their dirty gin martini- and the food is great too. I've had a few different items and everything has been good. They shine on the apps imo. They also switch up the menus often which is kinda fun. And the staff- top notch!! Never had a bad experience here.

Owned by a couple of local families, a nice place to grab a cold one or enjoy a meal with friends or family. Plenty of delicious options on the menu but I stopped looking when I saw poutine! I enjoyed it with one of their signature cocktails, a lavendar lemon drop. A great place to check out!

We have not been there since new management over the last couple of years. We have family businesses in the area as well, and we like to support local. So glad we went - dinner was fantastic. Between the 6 of us we sampled so much .... Pasta / Chicken / Pork / Seafood .... Everything was very good. Great portions - fresh garden salads come with every entree, as did delicious bread board. Lovely old historic building. We chose to eat in the dining room, but they also have bar seating and a bar dining room - and even seating on the big wrap around porch! Attentive and friendly service. Parking is tricky because of the way the property is situated/ but don't let that stop you from checking out this quaint restaurant!

We finally got back for dinner and I was not disappointed. The service is fantastic, we sat at the bar and the bartender new every nook and cranny of the menu. We tried different types of meals as a result. We got a chance to split the scotch egg, which is like nothing I ever tasted before. You're just going to there yourself and try it! We then got then Wild boar ragu and mushroom ravioli. Both meals were perfect for a cold fall night. We'll be back!

Everything on the menu is very tasty and quite enjoyable. We've only had lunch and it was very satisfying.

Nice staff. Average dinerish cuisine. Homestyle atmosphere but in need of new carpets at least. Expensive for what you get.

Last year we sat at the bar on a whim and the bartender, who was here tonight was fabulous! We had a great meal. Tonight we sat near the bar with reservations. The ambiance is beautiful, the service is warm and excellent. We had amazing drinks, the spicy hibiscus margaritas and the "not so old fashioned" were both top of the notch. I decided I'm no longer gonna stop here on my way home after I paid almost $14 for a few tiny fried cauliflower balls. It's rare for me to leave a restaurant hungry and that's happened a couple times after having been at Jamison's. New York prices. French portions. They charge 20 to 30% more than anybody else and they're out deep in the woods with nothing spectacular but everything good. Perhaps because they're the only show in town they can get away with this, but I'll drive further next time.

My brother's disabled pitbull mix, Radar, died about a week ago, and spending money at this local venue felt like a meaningful tribute to Radar as I entered 2026. I only knew Radar since September, but I instantly fell in love with his gentleness, gratitude, and perseverance. Being here felt like a small but intentional way to honor him. I am so delighted to support a restaurant that cares about the wellbeing of animals, and that love is clearly reflected in everything they do. I had a delicious Impossible burger and a great vodka soda, and the service was excellent. This is a great place to meet people, with a welcoming and lively atmosphere. She was frequently filling my friend's ice tea glass. I also appreciated how she explained that they were short staffed and the kitchen was backed up. They got an amazing menu with vegetarian as in portobello mushrooms, but they also have grilled or chopped chicken, which is pretty cool. How, what, why It is a dry steak, not burnt. Really good! p. s. ( some real Philly cheesesteaks make sure it is actually burnt just slightly on the edges to get that super grilled taste. While others are so wet, it soaks through the bun and you can't even pick it up. And if you take it on a trip for 10 minutes...Inedible. Did you know that a ' real steak' is not made w oil ; but spots of water? That's because the fat on it should be good enough in balance that it doesn't stick.) Taste, smell, satisfaction It is very juicy and not oily, (which in my opinion goes through the bun when you take it out, such as when you go to Henry Avenue, or a couple local places) nope. No wet roll. Awesome and great to take for later and re-warm without it getting all screwed up. Idea for goin' South Like taking 50 of them down to Virginia or Tennessee. In a cooler. That would work. My pics I start with just a steak, sesame roll fried onions. I added two kinds of Parmesan, a touch of red pepper, salt, and yes, tomato sauce. Sorry I was raised on that. Ketchup is too sweet for me. Litmus test If you eat a steak plain, it'll really tell you how good it is. How much gristle is in it etc. This had NO PERCEPTION OF GRISTLE. NICE! Rating This was excellent. Prime protein, nice roll - Lisco's of course - well done. So you are prepared; While I will eat 1/2 of a sandwich and be very satisfied, the rolls are smaller. And the price of ALL steaks is higher. You know how your ice cream is shrunk? I actually didn't know my wife pointed out to me. Well, the rolls have shrunk. So sandwiches for four people will cost a minimum of $65 with tip. Get outside. It's worth it your kids will love it. I hope to be there. Thanks for a great sandwich.
