Smashburger tacos
Courtney C.

Wanted to grab a burger and knew this location was around the corner and since I had never been to a PJ's and also the flyers were playing - I figured this would be a great spot to grab dinner ! This particular building - I'm not sure what the other PJs look like - is very open and big and dark in color and it kind of looks like it's cosplaying as a restaurant. The seating is off and there's one big bar in the middle. We got seated at a high top after waiting a few minutes - it was very busy. Our waitress was very nice and checked in on us frequently. There are literally a million tvs so my boyfriend and I both had good views of the game. He got I think the classic burger and I ordered a seasonal item - the smash burger tacos. Their menu is pretty big mostly sandwiches, burgers, wings and they have a few salads as well. Drinks didn't seem too expensive but also not the best quality. I got a strawberry Tito's lemonade I think it was $9 - definitely lacking on liquor. They do have happy hour specials which is good to know for the future. What I was most surprised with was how good my food was. The tortillas were soft and flavorful and the burgers were cooked well with the toppings it was all really tasty and fresh. It wasn't the most filling option , my boyfriend said the same. But we were satisfied and not over stuffed. The burgers and sandwiches come with chips you can upgrade them to fries, etc. for an additional cost.Overall I was surprised that this was a pretty decent hit! Good for fast, casual bar food, drinks and sports!

Food was good. I liked that you could customize some of the sammies with the sauce of your choice. I'm always afraid a sammie will be too hot . The customization gave me the right amount of heat without having my mouth on fire. I noticed the decor was modern with plenty of big screen tv's. Perfect for game days.

Southwest chicken panini

Great food, beers, and sports bar atmosphere! Went on a Tues night, and while not busy: it still took about 40mins for the food to come. Other than that: we enjoyed the southwest panini and southwest salad. If we go back next time we're in town, I'd definitely get the panini again

Picked up takeout tonight around 630. It was busy inside and out. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming - I should've gotten her name. My order was waiting and all I had to do was sign the slip and go, which I appreciated. We ordered 20 naked wings - dry, an order of fries and the kings club. The wings are always good from PJs. There was one wing in the container that was breaded, which was a special treat in my book but could cause issues for someone with an allergy. My son *LOVED* the King's Club. He wouldn't stop raving about it actually lol he totally ignored the bread not being the same throughout and the missing onions because it was THAT good to him. The only issue we experienced was on the menu under original fries is says you get a whole pound of fries and I promise you what we received was maybe half that. For $4.99 it would've been better getting more. Overall, it was a good experience.

This place used to be called pizza pub, i guess they are bought out(?) or changed to PJ. Google map took us to random location initially, (im assuming they changed location but was not updated yet?) waze took us to the right place thankfully. Saturday evening around 7:30pm, the place was packed! We were escorted to the table right away, ordered chicken wing and beers. Our waitress did not even offer/bring us water or give us utensils, napkins. She brought food and drink first , we waited to get her attention to ask for it, the place is big but we can't get service timely manner, that was cons, and she was coming to us with utensils and napkins already on her hands but then i feel she should have brought us those first before we got food. Chicken was perfectly cooked but the sauce was meh. We got inferno and hot honey on the side. Those were just sour. Not my taste. Check out process was easy after she brought us check, i could just pay with my phone instead of waiting for her to pick it up and bring it back to us back and forth.

Hot wing with scorpion sauce on the side

Great food, A+ service. I have dined in and also used them to cater a Christmas/birthday party for my grandson. Highly recommended!

We both had burgers and they were really good, maybe great for that type of burger. Rolls we're fresh and it was actually cooked how I asked, medium rare. My husband got his medium and mine was definitely a little more pink. Usually it doesn't matter what you ask for, you get medium well. Not here! Thank you for listening. The real hit though we're the fries! They done to perfection in clean oil! Most places like this, you can tell they haven't cleaned the fry-a-lator in a awhile. The service was amazing. Food came out so fast like they anticipated our order. The place was t crowded and they didn't mind that we sat and took our time. We didn't feel rushed at all but we're also very well looked after. The drink prices were very fair. A little cheaper than other boogie type bars, so that was great. And, they were actually strong drinks. Many bars do not really give you a double when you ask for them. My only complaint, as with most places, is that drinks with soda in them do not belong in pub glasses. The shape of the glass makes the soda go flat. However, I do realize that bars are not going to also carry a large pint size glass that is cylindrical. I try to get past this because the alternative is usually a very small, narrow glass that doesn't work well for a double shot and sofa. We'll be back to try the wings!

I am a restaurant manager for over 20 years and I don't give 5 stars out lightly. Mom had the crispy chicken sandwich on potatoe roll with onion rings for an upcharge but they were well worth it! Most places the onions are greasy and overcooked, these were perfect. I had the grilled reuben with sweet potatoe fries for an upcharge with a side of creamy horseradish sauce. Again spot on perfect, to die for, sweet potatoe fries were a thicker cut and cook to perfection. Both our lunches came out together and for dessert I had the PJ's Cookie Crunch Bomb with vanilla ice cream, cookie/brown bites, chocolate/caramel sauce and whip cream. Pj's you nailed it thanks again and please let the kitchen staff know how great things were. I have managed both FOH and BOH. CHEERS!!! Shawn Doheny

At the specific location, I happen to find myself there one afternoon for a beverage while my wife was at the spa across the street. Initially, the bartender was very attentive. But, as a shift was coming to an end she didn't seem to want to serve any further. I cashed out with her and realized that I had another 45 minutes of downtime. I was going to have one more drink, but the new bartender didn't look at me or pay attention, to her defense, she may have thought I was just sitting there until I wanted to leave since I've paid my bill. The place was very dark, and the layout a little convoluted. Most of the locations in this chain are Bright and airy. This place came off very dark. The service and inside lighting we're not good.

Quite empty on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30. I assume they get a younger crowd that works and comes later (we are retired). The happy hour menu impressed us. Speciality cocktails normally $15-ish were only $9. That got our attention. Plus $5 appetizers. Never see lemon drop martini, manhattan and expresso martinis on happy hour afterall. And those were our picks (3 of us). We were celebrating Mom's 93 birthday. For the $5. appetizers we picked pork spring rolls, potato chip nachos, and mozzarella sticks. The chips were the winner. BUT "never" get the spring rolls. Two very disappointing , tiny spring rolls that had a microscopic amount of pork. It was pathetic. Not even worth it for $5. I would stay away from those. Silly only two on the plate and there were 3 of us. Too small to share. Our server was efficent and sweet. She added to a nice happy hour. We enjoyed playing a few rounds of table shuffle board. Nice addition. The best part of our happy hour was a friendly couple (we just met them) at the bar surprised us and paid for a round of drinks since they heard it was my Mom's 93 birthday!! That surely made her day extra special and memorable.

The Good: Gloria Fries Gloria spice, Cooper sharp cheese sauce, truffle parm aioli. Easily one of the highlights. Well-seasoned, indulgent, and flavorful. The dipping sauces were very good. Especially the cooper sharp cheese sauce. $8 happy hour price, normally $10. Truffle Shuffle Pizza EVOO, mozzarella, mushroom, truffle honey, rosemary. The best of the three pizzas we ordered. Balanced flavors, well-executed, and this pizza truly delivered! Definitely worth the $10 price, otherwise $19 regular price. Boardwalk Pizza with Pepperoni Bianco Di Napoli sauce, mozzarella, fior di latte, parm, oregano. Solid pizza with good flavor and balance. Paid $12 happy hour price, otherwise it is $19. Just Okay: Stuffed Grape Leaves Mediterranean-style dolmas with lemon rice. Fine, nothing memorable. $7 1/2-Pound Smash Burger Two smash-seared patties, Cooper sharp cheese, LTO, umami sauce, toasted brioche bun. Decent burger, but didn't stand out considering the price of $16 Not So Great: Margherita Pizza Bianco Di Napoli sauce, fior di latte, basil, EVOO. Came out burnt (as shown in the photo), which is hard to overlook. Fortunately we only paid $10 (happy hour price) regular price $18 Jumbo Wings Ten pieces served with buttermilk blue cheese, celery, and carrots. These should not be labeled "jumbo" as there isn't anything jumbo about these wings. At $1.50 per wing, they're overpriced and not worth it. Final Thoughts: Gloria Sports and Spirits describes itself as an elevated dining experience, but that mostly seems to translate to elevated prices. I would only recommend ordering from the happy hour menu. The pizzas aren't worth the nearly $20 price tag, and the wings are neither jumbo nor a good value. One final note: root beer is apparently the only soda without unlimited refills. It's $5 per order, which isn't disclosed until the bill arrives. An unpleasant surprise. Overall, for future visits I'll be sticking strictly to the happy hour menu. And that's all I can recommend for anyone else when visiting Gloria Sports and Spirits.

Great, I know it wasn't sitting on a counter for ten minutes somewhere completely forgotten, but if i'm ordering food i'd like to be able to put it into my body as soon as possible. I don't think i've ever had a single problem with any of the staff here, and i've been coming regularly for a few months now. Everybody is super chummy. If they're not chummy, they're cordial, good at making conversation, and keep the good vibes rolling. I've worked in (customer, not food) service myself, and learning how to get along with everyone is a skill that's hard-learned and harder to nail, and 90% of the time the staff nails it consistently. Servers at the bar are attentive, I usually end up with my drink consistently topped off. The aesthetics of the bar are comforting, which is great. Place is decently lit, inviting, warm orange lights that keep you feeling fuzzy and content. At least every wall I saw on the bar portion (not the restaurant portion) had a different sport going on, giving you a lot of variety in terms of what you're looking at. I'm not a sports guy, but i'm glad people who are get the variety. They have trivia night on Wednesdays I believe, and they usually have consistent weekly specials rolling around. Most of the locals aren't the rowdy type, at least as far as i've seen. Definitely not the kind of bar you get into a brawl at, which as far as i'm concerned earns it a confident spot in places I will absolutely be back to.
