Visited this random place in West Point. The place looks like it is in a house. The people inside seemed like they were very close. I felt like I was at a Cheers bar where everyone knows their names. I ate their homemade chili cause I wanted something light and it was like 2pm already. The chili was amazing. So rich with meat and cheese. Definitely worth getting the chili if you are in West Point. The place got super busy after 4pm on Friday. I suspect cause the Phillies game was on. I'm so disappointed that I have to write this review but the public needs to be warned. Pizza time used to have MY FAVORITE pizza. I would order it all the time and it was consistently good. I don't know if they changed the kitchen staff or what but recently I've been getting raw pizzas. I have given them multiple chances to correct this mistake. I add notes to orders asking to "please make this pie well done" stating that "it has been delivered raw in the past." Since then, I've ordered a handful of times, and ONLY ONCE did I get an acceptable pie. I don't know what happened to this restaurant. Food was 3 stars but service was pretty much 0 stars and as a result, we certainly wouldn't do dine-in again. We stopped in here for dinner on a weeknight. Admittedly, our waitress said this was her first day on her own and only had a couple of days training prior. She needed a lot more training! The first question we asked was what the soup of the day was. She had no clue. My wife has a gluten allergy, so we asked about some of the menu items and if they were GF or not. Her response...I'm not sure but I think you are OK. You think??? Umm, that's not good enough for someone with a food allergy. If you don't know, then simply say you don't but that you will go ask and find out. She didn't even have the common sense to offer that. We then ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza. When the pizza came out, we said there didn't appear to be any bacon. Her response...oh, I'm sure it's under the cheese and sauce because I did enter the order correctly. Well guess what? There was no bacon and when we pointed that out a bit later, she said, I'm not sure what happened, but I double-checked and I entered the order correctly. No offer to remake it, credit us in some way...nothing. We had to ask for refills throughout the meal. A complete disaster on the service side. This is hands down our favorite pizza place. Large thin crust boardwalk pizza. And I mean thin. Very few pizzerias in our area do pizza as well as they do. Their staff is friendly and attentive. Food is great; help is beyond apathetic. Our waitress did not write down our order, and got it wrong. I ordered one salad and got another, and was too hungry to send it back. We asked for extra sour cream for our nachos and had to ask twice. After a very long time, my sister in law tried THREE TIMES to flag her down and I finally had to go to the bar to ask the bartender where our waitress was. It's Saturday before noon and I got insulted by some guy at the bar as well, so I can't say much for the patrons. I went back and sat down and a few minutes later Waitress bounces in and says (and this is a direct quote) "You guys wanted to see me?" We had been talking about getting coffee and dessert, but given the way things were going, we decided to go somewhere else. This was "boxes, and the check," and I kept standing until she brought both. But wait, there's more! We each had salad leftovers AND the nachos. That's three--3--boxes. She brought only two. Went here a second time and again everyone at the table was very pleased. One person got the mediterranean chicken wrap (only $6 with a huge order of fries as this was the Sunday special!) - everything was fresh tasting and she loved the dressing on the wrap. The fries are delicious with this crisp coding. Another person got a cuban sandwich which was absolutely humongous. Every layer of the sandwich was great - ham, pulled pork, turkey, the pickles! And I got the salmon Blt which was truly wonderful. It was honestly some of the best and most crisp bacon that I have ever eaten. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a Cajun spice mix on top of it. The sandwich was coated with a horse radish sauce. At first I was afraid the sauce would be overpowering but it actually added to the sandwich nicely. Again I will certainly be back here! Sat outside again too. Every time i go to this place the service is horrible. The young girls are so bad McDonald's has better service then them. Couldn't even get a refill on drinks. Instead the waitress decides to pass our table multiple times and says nothing to us but clearly can see we need drinks. Then she has 3 beers in her hand and just drops our check on the table almost falling into my lap. Then brings out check back I say thank you and she says yeah. Meanwhile we did nothing to her but come into the restaurant to have a good dinner. Oh and she forgot to put in our app while she's writing it on her notepad. The only good thing about this place is the food other then that they need to get better waitresses who actually are nice to people and remember things. I feel like this place is better known for the bar and its specials. Salmon wrap: tasted fishy, not much flavor either Coleslaw: it's shredded delicious coleslaw, best thing in the entire meal! Fried shrimp wrap: the chipotle was a good kick, had more flavor than the salmon wrap Boardwalk style pizza: honestly, it wasn't that great for a place called pizza time. 2.75 Stars This has been a solid lunch spot for years. My .25 bust-down on stars is due to what I believe is a lack of good draft beers on tap. Except for one or two occasional variances, the same Bud, Bud lite, Miller lite, Coors lite, Heineken, Sam Adams, Yuengling shit gets old. Jeez, there are thousands of beers out there, take a risk. I don't know when this happened. But pizza time suddenly got good. Maybe it changed management? I hadn't been here in YEARS, until one of my coworkers suggested that we go here and give it another try. I was skeptical to say the least. My memories from this place, years ago, was that they use to give out free microwaved pizzas just so people could continue with their liberations. We went back and now I am in her debt. The food quality drastically improved. The menu prices are, frankly, phenomenal. You can get HUGE portions of food that actually tastes good. So far, I have come here about 3 times in a row. I was pleasantly surprised by each menu option. Everything was better than I expected. Also, I didn't break my wallet. Literally, I have gotten 3 course meals for dinner for less than $15 (including 6% PA sales tax and 20% tip). Now, whenever I am in the mood for local food. I suggest to my coworkers we go here. The only thing I wish were that it were even closer to my workplace so that I could just walk to the front steps, instead of drive like 2 minutes. read more

Our party of 4 sat for over 1/2 hour with a pitcher of beer and our food order never taken ... seated in plain view in the dining room! We got up, went to the bar, paid for the beer, and told the bartender that our waiter disappeared and we weren't waiting any longer. She did not care ... just asked if we knew his name. So we left. I wrote directly to the staff on their web site rather than publicly thru here, and they did not respond! All of my first review still applies, plus the downstairs bar is non-smoking while the upstairs is smoking for the best of both worlds, and the upstairs sports bar now has a Wii! We recently watched the Phils win the World Series here, soaking the upstairs bar in beer from spraying bottles when they won like we were players with champagne in the locker room, so make my rating a 5.5 stars, just for that memory I'll be able to take with me for the rest of my life, even if we never win another championship again. read more

We get take out here pretty often on days we don't want to took. The good: great food, reasonable prices. Quick turnaround for takeout and super friendly staff. Menu is large for a pizza place and it's all good! 2 complaints: Their in-house beer selection leaves a lot to be desired. Called around 945pm last week when they close at 10, and instead of letting the phone ring or telling me they were closed, someone there was answering the phone and hanging it up right away, extremely rude and left a long time customer feeling like he should look elsewhere for Sunday pizza. read more

The downstairs bar is fine, too, but upstairs is a different kind of scene. The crowd in the whole place is best-described as eclectic. Been coming here since I was a little girl. The upstairs bar is fun for games and younger crowd (21-25?). Downstairs bar is small but quaint and age appropriate for me...(27). Monday night my daughter and I decided to stop here so I didn't have to cook dinner. Passed by the place many times but had never stopped. Food was quite good and portions were substantial. My daughter had a loaded mac&cheese with chicken. Mac& cheese was excellent, creamy, cheesy and perfect temp. Chicken not so much. It was like they reached into a pile of grilled chicken that was sliced and waiting for a home, salad, quesadilla or mac & cheese. Dried out and tough. I had fish soft tacos with grilled tilapia. Good presentation, fish was done quite well, garnish and sauce were good. Only negative, salsa was out of a jar and there were too many diced onions on the tacos buy hey, I can pick those off. Have been to the Pizza Time Saloon to celebrate two family birthdays recently. The first time we didn't have a reservation but were seated shortly after arrival for dinner. The last weekend we did have a lunch reservation for our party and arrived on time but they seemed unprepared for us. I like to go there for a quick dinner or take out, which is generally pretty good. Wraps are decent, burgers are good, sandwiches good, and overall dinners are decent. Usually no wait which is nice, so can get in and out pretty quickly which is nice with kids. During the week it is not very crowded downstairs so the kids do not have to be silent, so good place for kids. Upstairs bar is fun during games, good atmosphere, and good beer/wing specials for gametime. I do like the wings, especially the hot garlic which is a great flavor. $8 all you can eat on Thursdays or $4 orders during games is a good deal, well worth it. The one downside to me is the PIZZA. IT IS BAD. They call it PIZZA Time, which is really a comical name since the one thing I do not like is the Pizza. They put the sauce on in circles so half of the damn pizza has no sauce. Crust tends to be way too big too, so less pizza area. MUCH better places for just pizza in the area, but the other food is pretty good overall. Happy hour on Friday is good with the free food too. Overall, good place for take out or a quick dinner, just avoid the Pizza. read more
