I been to a few Miller Ale Houses in the Montgomery County area but the one off 309 is head and shoulders above them all. However what made my visit on 4/18 the best ever was our server was absolutely fantastic. It's rare when a server's attitude and personality is infectious as ours was yesterday. I don't know her name - sorry - but the impression she made on my party of 5 was unbelievable delightfully. A member of our party spilled a drink and as she was attempting to clean it up our server came over, smiled and helped but made the person feel like a friend instead of an annoyance / mistake. Food was pretty good this time around. Mimi's Fiesta Bowl was vibrant and the Cobb salad tasted fresh. None of the Greens tasted bitter and it came with a fair portion for the price. There was much less chicken than was shown in the picture however. The house margarita tasted like salt water and although we only asked for a different drink, the server Len had it taken off the bill. If he didn't we would have probably left a 2 or 3 star review but Len was polite and hospitable the entire time. Inside was nice, reminds me of several sit-down bars and grills like Chilies, but with its own flair, which I love about it. The food took a bit, but there was a large party in the back that they were serving, which was totally fine in the end, as the food was great! The wings were delicious. Pretty solid sports bar with a wide menu from steak to snow crab legs to burgers to a pork shank and everything in between. The food is solid and I will say that the pork shank is a hidden gem. If you are looking for a prime rib, they have it on Thursdays and Saturdays but you need to get here early or they will likely have run out. The Zingers or chicken fingers are solid - tender meat enrobed in a nice, crispy shell. The seating is pretty spacious and there are TV screens with games on at literally every turn. Was looking for a quick lunch after holiday shopping. I'll admit I'm not one of this takeout restaurant. I don't really like a lot of TVs and constantly being overloaded with sports. But I was willing to give it a try. Our server was nice, but you could tell was slightly overwhelmed with the number of people that they were assigned. We felt like we were a little bit on the back burner. I was excited to get the pub style fish and chips, and I figured because they are known for their fried foods. It was gonna be a win. Unfortunately, it was not. I was surprised at how little french fries was with the dish and it was disappointing with how flimsy the fish was because I was looking forward to a really crispy exterior. Went here for the first time in a while on 11-10-24 to watch Sunday football. TV setup was great, and we could see the games we wanted to see. Disappointed with the menu selection and pricing: Prices went up, and food quality went down. Flatbreads have been taken off of the menu, yet Pork Osso Buco is still hanging in there... Our waitress was good (I forget her name but she was wearing a Bears jersey) while there weren't many people there. Once it got busy, she was MIA. My husband had to go up to the bar to order my French fries. My French fries were good. My quesadilla was crisp on the top and soggy on the bottom. I had to eat it with a knife and fork. My husband's veggie burger was fair. Our friends' wings were good even though they said they could have been cooked longer. One friend's French fries were dried out from sitting under the heat lamp too long. This biggest problem with our visit was that our friend had Guinness beer from the tap. The 1st one was OK. The 2nd one had FRUIT FLIES on top of the head!! The waitress brought him another one, which appeared to be OK until he got to the bottom of the glass...MORE FRUIT FLIES! The waitress said she rinsed the tap in hot water after the first round of fruit flies, but it didn't help. He switched to a canned drink to avoid more fruit flies. EDIT: The beers with fruit flies were not taken off of his bill. I don't think we'll be coming back to this location or any other Miller's locations. Do better, Miller's... do better. read more

Here's the thing....food was really good, service was good. But every time we come the restaurant is extremely cold. My husband and mother both had a sweater and jacket on and had to keep their coat on tonight. I only had a sweater and my coat. I was shaking/shivering. It was brutally cold tonight but it is ALWAYS cold in here in the winter. We don't come here often because of how cold the restaurant is. If it was managed better and not so cold, I suspect they would do a better business. It's a shame. read more

On such a fine Sunday evening after working my 12 hour shift, I really wanted to fill the steak shaped hole in my chest. After aligning within my peers, we decided as a whole that MILLERS ale house was the place to be. Boy were we wrong. Upon entering the ghost town of a business we were told there would be a short wait as they needed to clean tables, after 15 minutes of waiting our hunger began to fester. We finally sat down and waited another 15 minutes then were greeted by a chipper young lad named Logan. I personally crave to start my night with a crisp sweet tea, however this is not an option at Millers. Distraught, I sat there in awe and terror of what an establishment we brought upon ourselves. After settling for the UNsweet tea, I realized after the first drop hit my tastebuds this was shite. Logan unbeknownst to the issue at hand continues with the tables order, which is when I ordered the 12 fried shrimp paired with a 6oz sirloin combination plate. I was in need of juicy, medium rare, seasoned, piping hot steak and crispy, freshly fried shrimp. When logan brought my plate to the table I was excited, it was then I realized there were only 9 shrimp on the plate instead of the 12 that were advertised. I demanded the manager on duty show their face, thankfully he fixed my issue with no pushback whatsoever, in fact he seemed unsurprised of the issue, almost as if this was a common occurrence. They need to filter. My mozzerlla sticks tasted like fish. The shrimp were tiny, saying I received 9 is generous. When I bit into my steak I just kept on chewing, GNAW, GNAW, GNAW. I might as well have been chewing on a 4 week old crouton off the ceasar salad that was my starter. Customer service was an all time high, food quality was substantially low. As I walked out the door, heart down to my toes, stomach ready to throw hands, ready to contemplate my life decisions, the bartender yelled "BYE!" as I was the last customer to walk out the door and I don't mean just a shout, the bartender sounded like she was being manhandled by Harambae himself. Now I sit brokenhearted, wishing and hoping a steakhouse could for once serve me a nicely cooked medium rare steak. Because of this outcome I'm currently drowning my sorrows with a 30 rack of coors lite, dreaming of the day I reunite with my friends and family who are currently 450 miles away looking up at the same night sky that I am. Now we all sit blasting SAD! by XXXTENTACION in hopes to turn our lives around. We as a collective breed of humans should all agree that this type of service can't be overlooked. Did not seem very busy. Ordered salad, 'Zingers' & mozzarella sticks, waited just short of 20 minutes for those two appetizers. Then we were going to order our food when the apps came out but since they were taking took so long to come out, we figured we might as well order our entrées. Our food after we placed order we waited well over 45 minutes for lobster ravioli, and a 6 ounce well-done filet. The appetizers came out cold. The manager came over and apologized. We asked the manager the status of our entrées after we had already asked our waiter both told us they would go check. We waited additional time cleaned up the table left a $20 bill and left before the food still didn't even come out. I would say this location is one of the better ones for the Miller's Ale House chain. It's clean and the service is very friendly. The food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. When I was here I started with the Zinger Mountain Melt and for my entree I have Mimi's Fiesta Bowl. The bowl especially had a great mix of flavors. I would definitely recommend coming here. Do note that they don't take reservations, so you might end up waiting for a bit if you come at prime time. read more

Planning a Celebration of Life is not an easy thing to do but with the help of Melissa, the kitchen manager, it was far easier than I expected. She answered every question that I had regarding numbers of people, type of food/availability and cost. It was such a enjoyable experience working with her. She made me smile and we shared a few chuckles while doing the planning. The menu options she suggested were perfect for our needs. We covered bar options and settled on cash bar for alcoholic beverages, soft drinks covered by me. A few days before when I was giving her my final count, she let me now that steak fajitas could be added( they had recently been removed from the regular menu) because she knew they were one of my favorites at Miller's. I was so appreciative so of course I added them. The fact that she went out of her way to make them available and to let me know just shows what a kind, caring and sweet person she is. The food served was amazing! Zingers, fried and grilled, wings, Mac and cheese, ribs, sliders and two types of salad and spinach dip and pretzels All of this met my needs, I have a grandson who is gluten free and he totally loved the grilled zingers. The donuts with dipping sauce were a perfect finishing touch. Our servers, Kiyana, Logan and Madison, were outstanding! They were kind, attentive and helpful to everyone. They knew their job, stayed on top of everything including checking if anything was needed on the food table and checking with guests to see if anything including drinks were needed. They kept the tables as cleaned up as possible and I could not have asked for a better group of servers. If I should have the need to plan another event of any kind, I would not hesitate to go to the Miller's Ale House in North Wales. They were just so awesome! I have been there a few times. The service and food are great. We have been to different locations, and service ,ambiance and food is good

About a month ago we were here with friends and were very disappointed. After posting the review a manager called me to see if he could offer us to try them yet again. We took him up on the offer this past Friday. Totally different experience. I had the same burger as before and it was hot , fresh and very tasty. The manager did come back to talk to us after we mentioned it to our server. She was fantastic , by the way. Her name was Jessica C. Very good and personable! I've been to a few Millers but this is my first time at this location - I came here for a work happy hour and I heard it's only been open for a few months. I ordered the southwestern chicken egg rolls which were really good but I wish the dip it came it was better - it can't beat the southwestern egg rolls from chili's! They had some beer specials so I just stick with Millers. They also had a few interesting picks on tap too.
