A few updated options : shrimp tacos are actually really good , they give you 3 and they'll fill you up ! French onion: avoid , not good. The French onion isn't anything I would order here ever again, weak broth, skimpy on the cheese. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good .. stick with the bat food!

    Turkey dinner special on Tuesday

Loved the homey atmosphere! There are two parts to the place, one with booths and tables and the second with a big bar. The menu has tons of options that could fit anyone's taste and it's not too overwhelming. I loved my turkey mashed potato plate, which is a Tuesday night special and the grilled cheese was great as well. The best part was the quizzo which started at 7:30, and everyone is welcome to play. There are 4 rounds so people could jump in and out. I loved the cozy atmosphere and could see why this is a local favorite. Will come back! However, the only issue is that there is no dessert! Like literally! Not even a cookie or an ice cream dallop! But the waitress assured me they are working on it...whewww

    Good vibes, always.

There's a lot of mixed reviews on here so I want to share mine ! Yes does it look like a "dive bar"…read morekind of but mostly it's just old - they have regular seating as well. I have dined in now and also had takeout and I do have to say that dining in, was a much better experience ! The tables are definitely a little squishy and our waitress wasn't the most attentive but the food rocked ! My fiancé and I both got burgers - one was a special burger and we also got I think a special appetizer. The chicken parm eggrolls were so good and the - I think it was an Elvis burger with jalapeño cream cheese - oh my god so good ! We also got the Texas toast smash burger which was good but the special burger out best it in spades. Honestly one of the better burgers I've had. The consensus is that they have really good burgers and I cannot argue with that - just try one and it may change your opinion of this place. Both the fries and chips are good but there is an upgrade charge for fries. Now when I go takeout I got the carved turkey dinner which was also very good. Tasted very fresh and was decently proportioned but I know that they give you more when dining in. I also would have loved a green vegetable with all the carbs. If you get takeout you're supposed to just slide up to the register that's squeezed at the back of the bar. Which I didn't know , but no big deal! Their online ordering was also not working. Overall come here for good food - especially burgers and yes you can drink. It's not a fine dining restaurant but it excels at what it does have on their menu which yes - is a lot of "bar" food.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

We went with the 20-piece Southern Country Garlic Wings and the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Overall, the flavor did not disappoint! The wings were incredibly delicious, packed with garlicky Southern flavor and served jumbo style, which was a nice touch. However, I do wish we had asked for them fried hard. The texture would've been much better that way. One small downside was the fatty bits left on the wings before frying, which made them a tad bit annoying to eat. At $26.99 for 20 wings, they were definitely on the pricey side. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls had a great crunch, but they were extremely small. Flavor-wise, they were decent, though I've had better. At $13.99, I expected a little more in size and portion. Despite a few minor critiques, we enjoyed our meal and appreciated the no fuss dinner option. Would I come back? Possibly, but next time I'm asking for those wings fried extra hard! Rating: 3.5

Most familiar places were closed, it being Monday so we took to Google to see what our options were. We just wanted burgers. Nothing fancy. We got seated right away and got to peruse the menu. Simple and to.the point. More than reasonable prices for how excellent the food is. Nothing over $20 on the menu. Seriously. I got the maple bbq burger. Now, the only note I have is the bacon could've been crispier. Other than that, it was juicy, full of flavor, cooked perfectly and all elements worked in harmony. The bbq sauce wasn't too sweet or ketchup-y like some and the maple bacon was YUM. My mom got the cheese burger with cooper sharp and it was heavenly. The tomatoes were just bursting with flavor. The decor is geared towards music. We had an old pic of Sonny & Cher with Bob Dylan. It was hard to look at given how changed Cher is from her um... enhancements. The ceiling is covered with old concert.posters & it was a hoot picking all of the ones I LURVE out (old Bowie poster.from the 70s to start). Let's break it down: Location: 5/5 Vibe / Atmosphere: 4/5 Beer Selection: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 2/5 Takeout: 3/5 On paper, this place should be a home run. Great location. Solid sports bar energy. Rock-and-roll decor, good music, and it's a perfectly fine spot to catch Monday Night Football or grab beers with friends. The staff generally does a good job, and the beer list is one of the better ones in the area. But the food is the weak link and unfortunately, it's a big one. The food is consistently below average. It's not terrible, but it's disappointing, especially given the prices. This is a place where you're better off ordering apps, feeding the kids, or just sticking to drinks. If this is your one night out for the week or the month, you're probably leaving wishing you'd gone somewhere else. The menu itself is broad, I don't want to say everything here is "mid," but I've tried a wide range of items: salads, turkey burger, tacos, bowls, wings... and the only consistently safe bets seem to be the appetizers or fried foods. For a lot of people, that's probably fine, but those are the items I try to stay away from, which makes the menu tougher to navigate. Maybe there's a standout dish I haven't tried yet, but I shouldn't have to hunt for something good. Takeout is another mixed bag. Every time I've tried ordering online, it looks like it's working...until it doesn't. Checkout fails, and I end up having to call in my order to a noisy bar. Once the order is placed, things usually go smoothly, but they should fix it or put up a notice before wasting your time customizing an order for 8 people. What really bugs me about Pour House is that it occupies a prime spot in the local restaurant scene. It feels like it blocks better sports bar concepts from opening because, technically, "that spot is already taken." But it's a mismatch. They need to pick a lane, either: -Lower the prices and lean into classic bar food, or -Keep the prices and raise the food quality a full notch or two Right now, it's stuck in the middle and that's why it lands at three stars. So close to being great, but not quite there.
