Smokey and CASH ONLY! That's a double BOO! I guess they still smoke in some PA bars, this place stank of cigs upon entrance. Actually stank is an understatement, after about 10 minutes I pounded my domestic beer and got the hell out of there, never to return. By the time I got home my clothing still stank of smoke. This is not a place for a non-smoker or anyone that values their lungs. Totally a local dive look and feel and smell, but much higher than dive prices at $5 pints of domestic. This place boast the best wings in Doylestown and I had to put that to the test. It is definitely difficult to find good buffalo wings in Doylestown that are classic saucy bone in wings. I called Finneys pub and told them listen I'm new to the area and you say you have the best wings I'm willing to give it a shot not only were the wings amazing flavorful and crunchy, the staff threw in some extra flavored wings for me to try. My wife and we're impressed with the flavor the regular hot wings hit the spot. I will be back. Garlic parm wings were so delicious with the fresh graded parm on top. read more

Nestled in super-cute downtown Doylestown, Finney's is the epitome of the unassuming, good old fashioned hometown bar. You should know up front that this place is a smoking bar, so be prepared. I'm not a smoker, but I did not find this to be overwhelming or intolerable. However, I can see how a busier night would lend itself to be a smokier joint as the place is not that big. This is the best place for Thursday night football - as this is why I wandered in here on a Thursday night. It was much quieter than I anticipated being an Eagles game, but maybe once pre-season is over, traffic picks up. There was plenty of bar seating and more than enough room to stretch out. I call this place unassuming, because you'd never guess that this place offers an amazing array of beers and the absolute BEST chicken wings I've ever eaten in my LIFE. This is no joke. I'm not even a fan of chicken wings, or really anything with bones in it, but the sauce that is slathered on these suckers is NO JOKE. It's freakin' delicious and there are so many different options. They're huge, juicy, meaty, and just so so so tasty. I had the Garlic Hot and some Molasses Bourbon Spicy situation. Both so good. Like, I'm going to be talking about these wings for a long time. To top it off, the beer selection is unreal. If you're lucky enough to meet Rich, the bar manager, he'll hook you up with what's good. Biased bar with a rude owner who only acknowledge or pay attention to the women in the bar, im a local customer and i went up to the window of the bar during normal hours and was denied entry because it was "full", yet qny woman who walked up to the door was let in and any men who can to the door were denied entry. Terrible choicr of music as well since most songs are blocked on the jukebox. The bar crowd itself is usually only interested in selfish motives in this place, would definitely avoid this bar if you want to have a fun night. read more

Maybe we're used to a different level of hospitality, or maybe it was because we were not regulars/locals...this place came highly recommended...walked in the door and were promptly greeted. Sat down at a table and were completely ignored. We walked out after 10 minutes without a word from anyone. Big picture, the place clearly has regulars so our money probably won't be missed by the owners. We probably won't be back through Doylestown, but even if we are, their one chance is gone. read more

Finney's is a D-town original - and one of the few liquor licenses in town. I "dive-bar" feel with lots of regulars some of which have been coming here for 30 - 40 years. Brings back so many memories. read more

Best wing selection in the area!! I think theyre over 30 styles and growing! Always something new on tap which keeps the beer selection fresh no matter when you visit! They also do a damn good bacon cheeseburger!! But the best perk of this "working mans bar" is that they allow smoking...particularly cigars...which is why we stop in regularly after a long day of work! My husband and I were looking for a place in Doylestown to host an after party when our wedding reception ended at 10pm on Sunday Sept. 4th. As it was a holiday weekend, we expected that many bars would be open later than usual, especially in such an active late night town. Almost every place we looked told us they were closing early. We had enjoyed many a late night at Finny's before and approached Rich, one of the owners, while we had lunch here one afternoon. Rich not only offered to keep the bar open until 2am for us on the 4th, but offered us the private use of the top room of the bar. He made sure another bartender was scheduled for us and even prepared a variety of buffet style appetizers for us and our guests. He did all of this for us on a handshake, never asking for a down payment. The cost he did ask was very minimal and much less than we had expected. The night of the wedding, everything was just as promised and Rich kept checking on us to see if there was anything else we needed. It was so nice to get to spend a little extra time with our wedding guests and the perfect ending to an amazing day. These are good people working here who appreciate their customers and treat them like family. This is the best bar in Dtown. They have a great beer selection, tons of nice whiskeys, the best wings in town and very few douchebags. The bartenders are great and the service is fast. They allow smoking and also always have the latest Golden Tee golf game. Highly recommend for anyone who is thirsty for a drink. read more

I only stopped in for a minute as my Golden Tee thumbs were itching. First impression was excellent. The Bartender was very nice. Decent size bar, smaller TV's, not sure they were HD. 2 things to note. It is a smoking bar i.e./ their food sales are less then 20% of revenue. It did not seem smokey, I saw the menu, it looked decent. 2nd thing, they have Golden Tee 2014. I got 3 games in before the wife used iPhone tracker to bounty hunt me down. Good impression and will be back. I did also hear they have great wings. The quick 411: Pros- Golden Tee 2014, customer service, TV's, food, booze, smoking bar (if you smoke), friendly folks, nice staff. Cons- will have to get back to you. Absolutely. Best. Wings. They have a great 'bar food' menu but their wings are killer. Check out the Toxic sauce if you want to have a hot and spicy party in your mouth! Faith is a true pro behind the bar and makes everyone feel very welcomed. It's almost a Cheers-type of atmosphere. Great neighborhood bar. The only downside is that they still allow smoking. The cigarette smoking is a bit tough but tolerable; it's the cigar smoke that's overwhelming. It's not all the time, but when there's a cigar lit in the place, look out.
