MUCH needed date night with the hubby, big shout for an awesome specials menu going on right now. Started with the Snapper Soup and everything was excellent. Chefs Kiss If you haven't been(or like us its been a minute) check them out!

Came in with a large group of friends for an Irish weekend kick-off. Our first time here. Parking was easy as the place is in a fairly new shopping area with ample spots. It was about 4pm on a Friday before St. Patrick's Day. We parked about 30 feet from the front door. The place is a pub decorated for the holiday. A large bar as you enter and dining space in the rear. There is also an outdoor area covered in a tent. We grabbed a long hi top table for 8. It was around 4pm on a Friday. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server was Meghan who was solicitous and efficient. We all thought she was great and when we had to vacate the table around 7pm due to another party having reserved the table we proceeded to the outdoor, covered area and Meghan followed us. She received generous and well deserved tips from all of us. There was live entertainment and the two piece band was from Ireland. Also a group of young traditional Irish dancers performed a la Michael Flatley Lord of the Dance. They were great. Food was pretty good for a pub. Some of us ate early and some ate late. Some ate twice. I was in the latter group and had an order of fish and chips. They were very good the fish was crispy on the outside and soft and most inside. The fries were unremarkable. There was also a marketing group from Conor MacGregor's FRGD stout company giving out swag and free stout. We wrapped up around 930pm. A very nice place. We would definitely return. Mark & Nancy.

Great service! Tasty food! Good beer selection. Nice drinks. Easy parking. Live entertainment is a huge plus! Lamb shunk is very good. Big portions. Really enjoyed the experience. Definitely will come back!

This is a great little place! Definitely a locals place but we felt right at home. Service was perfectly timed. Food was delicious. Drink menu was themed for the season. No complaints and we'll definitely be back.

First time coming to this place and it was totally worth it. The stew was amazing and the nachos were probably one of the best appetizers I've ever had in my life. The food & service was great highly recommend!

My husband, friend and I enjoyed all our food and seeing the Kickbax band last night.

My husband and I have been to the Irish Horne many times with family and friends. the food is very good especially with all the little twists they do to make their dishes stand out from other restaurants in the area. Last night we took a friend (Irish) that was never there before. All the appetizers we shared were great. one of the best parts of the night was the band Kickbax. It was a great way to spend. Friday night!

Bar tender was miserable and extremely rude. Food was good. Don't think I would go back because the service was so bad.

Wow...excellent dinner tonight...hit all but one box. I may as well start with the one negative…read more The one box it missed was the noise level...glad we were a party of 4 bc we found ourselves almost shouting to have a conversation. But that truly was our only negative. Our server, Rachael, was excellent and we credited her great service to adding to our awesome dinner at 59 Almshouse. Started with a round of cocktails. I normally get a dirty martini but those short stubby martini glasses ruin it for me...I dislike those glasses. I took the lead from our friend who raved about the Smokey Old Fashion. He was right...one of the best cocktails I have had outside of my regular dirty martini. I look forward to ordering that every time now. It had a bit too much ice so next time I will request less ice for sure. And wow...the smell of the smoke and the drink were outstanding. The menu choices are all so good...difficult to choose bc I wanted about 10 things...I was ready to switch it up from my normal ahi tuna which I get every time. Well, I picked the mahi-mahi fajitas. This has now taken first place and moved up to my new favorite. I loved it! Sooo much food that I hope to share it next time. Leftovers are fine too. They do the fajitas extremely well and I highly recommend. Hubs ordered the Thanksgiving dinner, which is funny since Thanksgiving is in a few days. But that too was outstanding. (I had to taste it) It was a generous portion and he "gobbled" up a good amount and raved how good it was several times as he was eating. Hubs rarely gets that excited about his food which says a lot. Our friends enjoyed and raved about their food as well. Not sure there is a bad thing on the menu. Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. They do this extremely well. I am not deducting a star for the noise level bc they truly deserve 5 stars. My compliments to the chef and to our server Rachel.

In my opinion, it is the best gym around and it is truly a lifestyle beyond anything. The Escape is the perfect place to do exactly that. The bartenders admittedly spike the drinks with extra alcohol, and God knows what else ;)

Friends who were NAC members invited me to Escape Resort as their guest before Covid. Although I…read morehad been inside the facility several times over the years, I had never seen the new outdoor pools and water park theme up close. Have to say that while it appears to be an amusement park from beyond the fence with massive water slides and multiple aquamarine pools for various uses; from within it makes more sense and is actually quite attractive in a hyperactive way. Happy Hour with half price drinks was a good deal, and the bar food offerings were also well designed to complement the alcoholic drinks, if not all that tasty, nor compelling in their own right. So many people in a relatively small space around the bar, that conversation was a bit challenging. Plenty of alternative distractions among the many "beautiful" folks who enjoy being the center of attention, and know how to do it right, especially when encouraged with beverage. With music playing in the background the experience was a mixed bag. Clearly, the plan is a bit over the top, and made for people with kids or those who like this glitterati experience. Yet, there was a full house that evening, and business was booming. Covid put an end to the crowds for the last year, but I suspect the club will be back in action full tilt come vaccinations and reduced mask wearing. I'm the more cautious type, and will wait a while before accepting my next invitation.

We went for the happy hour app and drink specials for our birthdays, but because it took our server 15 minutes to come back and check on us, they wouldn't let us get the specials. (Felt intentional, like they were stalling) Our server was nice, but not attentive at all. I would have given it 4 or 5 stars if it wasnt so pricey and the service was better. We will definitely give it a weekend try, just in case it was an off night. Tip: I was not a fan of sitting in the half booth tables right by the hostess stand. It was extra dark and it felt more like where you sit while waiting for your actual table. Ask to be seated further in the dining room...it is really cool inside! Big parties can even get seated IN a birdcage!
