Great food and service! And they have Guiness on tap which is always a bonus. Really friendly bartender and food was great for the money.

I literally said to myself as I drove around Somerville that I wish there was a wine or cocktail bar for...mature people like myself to chill at. So I looked up wine bars and boom - VintEdge was right down the street. I came in around 9pm, picked a comfy seat by the window, and ordered. Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. Or so she thought. Through a series of mutual miscommunications, I was here at the crib waiting for her, while she was at the wine bar waiting for me. Once we figured that out, she got us some food to go and we ate here at home. Verdict: -excellent seating options - stools, couches, chairs -food is so so good. Tartare, truffle fries. Fig jam pizza -drinks include awesome bottles and seasonal takes on old favorites This could be my new spot.

The outside is unassuming but on the inside, it feels like a classy, upscale restaurant with a casual ambiance. On a Saturday evening, there were still several tables open inside and outside and seating at the bar. The drinks were amazing. My fave was the lychee martini. The food was also simple yet delicious. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. The staff were busy but still polite and attentive.

I ordered the lobster bisque, which was the soup of the day and it was so delicious. I highly recommend it if they happen to have it when you are there. I got grilled shrimp as my main and it was a bit disappointing. It came with 5 pieces and one of the shrimp was ripped in 2 pieces before they served it to me - they must've known this because they hid it underneath another shrimp during the original presentation of the plate. It was disappointing and I wish I would have chose a different dish instead. I got the tiramisu as a dessert which was a great way to end my meal here.

I would say six tables at most. The decor seemed a little tired and could use some freshening. The bar area sits a step down from the entrance and seemed active. We decided to each have a drink to start and I had the prime rib carpaccio. The meat was delicious and very thinly sliced. The cheese and capers were a perfect flavor profile. They had elk on the menu so I couldn't resist. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely melted in my mouth with a tasty reduction over top. My wife had the seared scallops over two colors of noodles and scallions. The scallops were a touch too salty yet cooked perfectly. The dark chocolate cake was simply amazing. A must if you go. The food was quite good and they always seem to have some unique options if you like wild game. Give it a try and see what you think.

We had a reservation and when we arrived, we were told to head up and the only table was our reserved table. The bartenders were really nice. The bottle "cellar" area is full of different styles. I perused the area and if your looking for international beers this is a good place to look. The shelves were stocked with a very wide selection of mostly Belgian, Italian brews with American Micro and German coming in just behind. I've had Spanish brews before, but they actually had in stock six to 10 different Spanish Brews and some Brazilian beer. (Makes sense since a Brazilian Steakhouse is connected to the building) The prices were fair and they even had some exclusive Iron Abbey collab beers with local breweries. It's out of the way for me bottle shop wise, but if I do stop by the area I'll of course check out their stock. I found a couple of nice hard to find Imperial Stout's that now have a nice home. A nice addition to the building.
