Ahh this place was great and the bartender was friendly, engaging and helpful. I had a flight, can't even remember what I had but he gave suggestions which were pretty good. It was good because my partner doesn't drink beer and they had flights of wine also. She enjoyed the variety they offered and said she really enjoyed the ones she picked.

This was a great Saturday night crowd complete with an Irish style 10 piece band. During the American Civil War, the Irish were recruited by the 69th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (69th PVI). They fought gallontly! The Crooked Eye is a microbrewery and offers a delicious selection of brews. NO FOOD SERVED. BRING YOUR OWN. FUN ATMOSPHERE!!!

We were in the area and had been eyeing up Crooked Eye for a little while now, so we had to stop in. It was a Saturday late afternoon and they weren't very packed- we were able to score seats at the bar, though there were some tables available as well. They not only had a pretty good variety of beers, but they had a good amount too! We needed two flights and two samples to try everything that we wanted. We tasted the Crooked Eye single IPA, Hazy Eye DIPA, White Tail belgian whit, Accidental pale ale, Smash Ale single hop, Golden Eye golden strong ale, Angry Piper scotch ale, I'm No Brut NEIPA, and Maggios IPA. We enjoyed everything, my favorite had to be, in order: the Brut IPA, Hazy Eye, and the Golden Strong Ale. They have wine available too, which we didn't try, as well as some activities on weekdays. It looks like half of their beers get rotated too, so it'll give us a good reason to return in a little while. Service was fast and friendly too!

We searched for this place on Yelp. It looked very interesting. We got here at 4:56. There was a guy standing outside. When he saw us get out of the car he quickly walked in, shut, AND LOCKED the door. When we got up to the door we noticed a sign that said they closed early for Mother's Day. I can understand that. What l can't understand is the incredibly poor service and attitude of people who work here and apparently other that of other customers. The guy was standing just inside with a group of customers. He looked out at me and said they were closed. I told him it was a few minutes before five. He just looked at me and said they were closed. He, and the customers standing next to him all started laughing. A few minutes later as I was writing this post those customers came out, saw us setting in our car, and started laughing again. VERY POOR SERVICE!

Really cool little brewery! Wine and beer flights were available and our little party tried both! The wines were on the sweeter side, but our wine lover enjoyed them all! The beers all had great flavor as well! If you are looking for a quaint brewery to hang out with some friends, I would recommend stopping by!

Great beers and a fun atmosphere, Crooked Eye Brewery will probably charm you with it's fun, independent feel (and the beer of course). This place reminds me of NJ breweries, which show up in any cheap industrial spaces or strip-malls. Crooked Eye Brewery is located in a...uh...you know what I have no idea what it's located in. A building of some sort obviously, maybe a garage or small warehouse? Honestly, I drove past the entrance the first time - turn in the small entrance by the tattoo place on Montgomery and drive straight back, probably parking on a sharp incline along the side. None of this is to be taken negatively by the way - it only adds to the overall pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps feel of the place. The beers is plenty, crisp and refreshing with not a bad one in the bunch (thank you for doing flights, which seems to be becoming a rarity at microbreweries for some reason). My favorite of the bunch was the Regimental Scottish Ale 80 - smooth malty flavor with the flavorful ale profile you expect. I adored Crooked Eye Brewery and if I ever find myself near Hatboro again I'll definitely be back.

Good beer, good people. Limited parking. Don't park in the deli lot. They're gonna tow you.

Nice local joint. Good service, easy atmosphere, quality beers. Can't ask for anything more than that.

The Crooked IPA, Regimental (Scottish ale), and Black Eye were all really solid beers.

There were some outdoor games going on, so it was a nice vibe, and I enjoyed the beer I got that night, though I can't recall whch one it was. This bar doesn't sell any food, but there was a food truck right outside from which a few guys bought food. Overall a pretty fun experience, and I would return when it's nice out again.

They also have really nice outdoor grounds that are open in warmer weather. There are nice views and you can see for miles. There is always at least one good food truck but you can also bring your own food or order in for delivery. The beer is in line with any top tier craft brewery and they offer a wide variety of beer styles with at lease 24 on draft at any given time and most are available in cans to go too. The staff are wonderful and knowledgeable too. My only criticism is that they don't allow dogs or offer flights, or serve beer in glass (only plastic cups) nor do they offer any beer size smaller than 16oz. You can ask for tastes and they will be happy to allow you to sample all of the draft beer. I just with you could order a 6 or 8oz.

Very impressed with their food…read more Chorizo egg roll with chicken in it was fiery and delish. Beef Brisket with Alabama BBQ White Sauce was exceptional on a brioche bun. I had a bite of the monster chicken tenders, which were very good, however buyer beware they are a bit on the spicy side. The tenders came with waffle fries that are always a good bar food accompaniment. I also had a bite of their house made falafel wrap. It was very good, we did not get the one that comes with a bit of heat in the form of Harissa Paste, however I would be up to possible try it another time with the Harissa addtition. They have an extensive beer list as well and I ended up getting a 16oz for $5 bucks after receiving $2 off as it was happy hour 4pm-6-pm Tuesday through Thursday. The beer was good, no complaints. They also have some very interesting looking desserts however I did not have any room left to indulge. I would definitely come back and recommend you try some of their food items.
