Was in there a few weeks ago and a male patron had his small dog sitting on the bar. Bartender said " we don't serve food, dogs are allowed." Seriously, animals sitting on the bar? And this continued for over 1/2 hr. If there were negative stars this place would receive one. read more

Neshaminy Brewing Company has a winner at its new brick & mortar in The Station at the Dublin Town Center. The space is attractive with high ceilings, red brick walls and large windows around a long wooden bar with handles for all their current fermentations. Bellying up to the bar I was impressed by the bartenders pulling skills as well as their delicious collaboration with Rita's Water Ice to brew three of their popular flavors into fruit brews - Mango, Cherry Lemonade & Peach Ring. Had to try one, so went with the mango, which most of the patrons seemed to be sampling. While not the knockout that Rita's custard and water ice can be, it was still very tasty and distinct enough to be fun and memorable. Left me curious about the other possibilities, especially the Cherry Lemonade. Will get to that soon enough either in Dublin or closer to home in Langhorne. The association with the other food vendors in The Station (pizza, bagels, poke) means enough nosh variety to keep your palate happily engaged on a number of visits, as all the food is welcome within NCBC. Neshaminy Creek at the Station in Dublin, PA, is a beautiful place to unwind and have a couple of pints. The bartenders are top-notch, and several vendors are in the same building, an old auto service station to satisfy your hunger. We love the pizza, and you can get other pub fare, burgers, tacos, fries, and other goodies at this location. The large doors open in the Spring and Fall for an outdoor patio. Kelly does an amazing job on Wednesday nights. The beer selection is extensive and they're all very well made. Big games are on the TVs and there's often local musicians playing later on in the evening. Great atmosphere. My advice is don't show up thirsty. I'd been looking for a reason to check out Neshaminy's new space in Dublin, so when friends told us their son would be playing an open mic night there, we were in. The event had drawn a modest, but manageable crowd. There is no table service, so I stepped up the bar, cash in hand, and waited for the one server working the bar to notice me. And I waited, and I waited. I signaled, called excuse me, moved to different sections of the bar she seemed to be paying more attention to. All to no avail. It was clear that the server's attention was split between her regulars - who she quickly attended to as soon as the stepped up to the bar - and her phone, which she stopped to text on every 30 seconds or so. After 15 minutes, I put my money back in my pocket and left, never to return. I know that in this environment, finding competent, reliable help is difficult, but if you're going to simply ignore customer (who, I might add, have the potential to become one of her cherished regulars), your business is going to atrophy.
