I thought the pub was pretty cool- had an arcade, pool table and a playground for the kids. My friends and I went here for drinks. We first ordered our drinks and they came quickly enough. However, the problem was when we were trying to order mini burgers afterwards. None of the servers would look us in the eye, and when our server eventually saw us signalling them, our server actually waved back at us and went back to talking to his co-workers. Eventually, we had to stop a busboy who told our server that we wanted to order something else. After that, the server seemed to have learned his lesson and continuously came by to ask if we needed anything else. Unfortunately, the waiting did not end there because the mini burgers took forever to make as well. Honestly, the food was okay, drinks were pretty good and the pub itself was a good place to hang out and have fun. However, the service could be worked on.

Decent pub, a mainstay of the area.. Growing up in Richboro, the Pub was one of the staple, go-to restaurants in the area. Now they have expanded a bit and changed their name to Big Heads, but nevertheless, it is basically the same as years ago. FOOD Pretty basic American food menu, but it is all pretty good. I'm a big fan of the cheesesteak here. The meat is chopped, and the bread is very soft, so it's basically the anti-Steve's steaks. I've had other things too like the wings and soup. It's all pretty good food for a pub, but nothing over the top amazing. The portion size is also decent, not too small or too big, just the right amount. SERVICE The service here is so-so. Usually you seat yourself when you walk in, and it sometimes take a little bit for the waitress to take the order and such. I will say that one time I spilled some sauce on my pants, and without even asking the waitress brought over club soda to help me wash out the stains. I was pretty impressed and made a good impression in my mind. ATMOSPHERE This place has really changed in the past few years. I see they've tried to make the place much for family friendly, making the entire back of the restaurant into a play area with video games, and rooms for birthday parties. PRICE This place isn't going to bust your wallet, the prices are pretty fair. For a cheesesteak and 6 wings, my bill came out to around $15 including tip. The soup here is a tiny bit on the expensive side, but beyond that everything is around the price point it should be. As someone who grew up in Richboro, this was a good place to eat for any situation. It's nothing special, however the food is always good and the price is fair for what you get. The place may have changed a bit in the past few years to get a different patron in the restaurant, but the food is just as good as always.

Good burger. If you go during an Eagles game expect a wait for your food. Family oriented.

Great spot for sports. Great bartender on Monday night. The Pub tenders are delicious. The wings and burgers are pretty good too.

We were there tonight and our server was Ashley and she really went above and beyond. She provided us with our single best experience at your restaurant. She was the icing on the cake! 59 Almshouse seems to be the place for large groups to get together which is both great and tough…read more Great because they accommodate large parties, and not because the restaurant can get very loud, very quickly. They have three seating options- their inside bar area, an outdoor covered area, and an inside dining room. We sat in their dining room which was nice until more guests came in and it became increasingly harder to carry a normal conversation. That aside, the staff was super nice, attentive, and great with menu suggestions. Now the food- damn (excuse the language). The portions were HUGE (the sticky rice bowl easily could have fed two people) and delicious. We ordered the tempura green beans side as an appetizer along with the bangin' shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was in a more cornmeal-like batter versus a tempura based you would have expected but good nonetheless. And you can't go wrong with tempura green beans with various dipping sauces. For entrees, the turkey reuben was crispy yet saucy, paired with coleslaw, grapes and pickles. The sticky rice bowl was packed with all your favorites and topped with crispy wonton chips (yum). Coupled with a trio of sauces, you also have eight protein options to select from. Aside from the noise level, good experience overall. Side note for new guests- the entrance is in the back, up a long ramp, NOT on the street side.

As a Guinness girlie, it made me very excited hehe. They also have a lot of fun winter cocktails! I decided to go with the Horne tini because apparently it came with an Irish potato?? Unfortunately they had run out, but I deffo need to get my hands on one of those next time. My drink was delicious, and my parents loved theirs too. Everything we ate was soooo yum. The sweet and spicy sweet potato fries were perfect, the soup was so good, and I was very happy with my Irish grilled cheese sandwich. The lamb shank was HUGE and incredible, and the meat was cooked perfectly. I would honestly visit again just for that lamb shank. The bar was popping! So many people and such nice happening vibes. Our waitress, Kayla, was seriously so incredible. She added so much to the whole experience of our night. She was extremely patient, kind, and genuinely took care of us. The restaurant is really lucky to have her!

Ordered the crispy pork roll bites and was pleasantly surprised - very good. The cheese dip side was a little solid though, kinda gross but fine. Torn between a 3 and a 4 but the staff drags me down to a 3. Still worth going to. They even changed the channel to a NASCAR race for a fellow patron which was nice.
