We recently worked with Anthony's on a large catering order for a banquet and we're really happy with the entire process. From choosing items for a group to adjusting numbers once we had rsvps to staying within budget... it was easy with their experienced team. Set up was beautiful, the food was hot and delicious and they accommodated allergies and food preferences with no issues at all. Nina's experience with set up kept our crowd moving efficiently and she made sure we had more than enough for our group. The eggplant parm and Sicilian pizza were highlights but everything from the salads to dessert tray was delicious. I would highly recommend their restaurant for any meal but absolutely for catering & a large event.

We tried Anothonys (old Boston Style pizza in North Wales ) got a large mushroom pizza, chicken cheesesteaks and regular cheesesteak on seeded rolls. The food was in my car for 45 mins before i could eat it, so the rolls were a little chewy but i enjoyed jt! A good amount of meat. We have leftovers for tomorrow's dinner. The pizza is saucy, and kids devoured it.

I heard about the cheesesteak here from a Facebook group and it did not disappoint. The roll was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Cooper sharp provolone comes standard with the cheesesteak. The meat was season well. I heard their pizza is also delicious but didn't get a chance to try it. Their service was very friendly and warm. Will definitely be going back and bringing friends.

Superb in every way! Excellent pizza, excellent chicken parm, excellent service, and excellent owners! Anthony and Nina made sure we loved it...and we did! We were there during their soft opening 3 times and will definitely be repeat customers over and over again!

The pizza was delicious with a perfectly crispy crust, and the staff is great! I'll definitely be back!

Turkey Hoagie. Very fresh, great roll and you can tell it's quality ingredients. Decent size. I had to pack half to take home.

I really enjoyed the bread they brought out before our meal, so didn't remember a picture until everybody had some. My daughter in law likes lemon in her water, and I really liked the way they served that, so I did remember a picture there. I had the Neapolitan pizza and would have preferred a little more cheese. My granddaughter had been talking about pasta Alfredo all week, and they were happy to put that sauce on her kids meal. My daughter in law had the Osso Buco and really enjoyed it, and appreciated that they could leave out the peas in the risotto. My son had the chicken parm and really enjoyed it. Their friend had some kind of sandwich, I didn't catch which, and he also enjoyed it. Somebody ordered the gnocchi for all to share and it was very good, with a creamy, cheesy sauce. So I'm sitting there for a few and I'm like maybe they misunderstood and they thought I made a res for 6 people not at 6. So I went to clarify with the hostess. She understood and repeated the same thing. So we sat and waited a few more minutes before she had a change of heart and came out to tell us we could be seated now. We didn't leave for probably 45 minutes and not one more person came in. As soon as we sat down the hostess who was also the waitress came over and asked for our order. We of course we weren't ready. We just sat! She seemed frustrated and I was thinking wow this isn't going to be relaxing. The first thing I see on the menu is the sharing up charge. I hate that type of thing. I always like to do family style and share stuff. I want to try every thing if it's a good place. So we got an appetizer which clearly we were going to share. Luckily we did not get the share charge. The bread you get before your meal is so good. Fresh cut garlic and oil drizzled on it. You also get a side salad that was delicious. When they brought the calamari I tried moving the bread closer to me so the waitress(same as the hostess) could put the plate down. She grabbed the bread bowl from me and moved it to the other end of the table. When our actual meals came she couldn't wait to get our plates off the table. We really felt like we were an inconvenience. I thought maybe it was just a cultural thing. Or maybe she's just overworked since she was the hostess and waiting on 3 tables. Brought us boxes before we were finished our food. So we were like ok fine. We will just pack up. We were going to get desert but we decided let's just blow this popsicle stand and get something somewhere else. The food here is excellent. I would get take out again but I probably wouldn't suggest a dine in experience. Which is a shame. I don't even really like writing this critical of a review because I don't know what was going on in her life so maybe it was just the day.

The food had both highlights and disappointments: * Lobster Ravioli: Tasted very good, although the portion was small. The sauce was flavorful and enjoyable. * Cioppino: This was the standout dish of the evening. It was loaded with delicious seafood, and while the pasta was slightly overcooked, it was still a very good meal. * Penne alla Vodka: The sauce was delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, but we still enjoyed the dish overall. * Caprese Salad: This was disappointing. The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with excellent service and some very flavorful dishes, but consistency in the food and pasta preparation could be improved.

The menu has many interesting items and the shared appetizers were a good start. The Arancini was very good as was the Special Grilled Octopus in a Hummus Salad. There were 4 of us and we all felt that the entrees were good but didn't rise to what our expectations were, based on other reviews. The Lobster Gnocchi was good but seemed to be missing the lobster. The best part of the Scallop Risotto was the perfectly seared Scallops but the risotto itself was just ok. The Fiochi di Pere was good but overall didn't have all that much flavor. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very generous portion of chicken and pasta but the Italian seasoning was almost overpowering. I don't like writing reviews like this but like I said, we're in the minority review-wise on this one. Give it a try. Our experience just wasn't as good as what we expected.

We had heard about La Voglia and decided to try it out! We went on a Friday evening and it wasn't…read moretoo crowded. The restaurant has a warm feel to it and is decorated nicely. They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!
