It stood proud when held at the crust! The rest of the group was less sold on their buffalo chicken pizza and garlic knots. Fantastic consistent pizza. I've had Vinny's 2 plenty of times from work because they are so close to it. Finally went in to get some pizza for dinner and tried the plain, a special, and a Drunken Grandma pizza. Who let grandma get that drunk anyway? I would argue that the thin Sicilian crust wasn't that thin but it's probably for the best as it would have fallen apart from the large amount of vodka sauce and pesto and moz. All were delicious. Hoagies are pretty good, they have a ton of meat and cheese on them and I would actually like an option to only half that because I found it to be way too much. The rolls are perfect for their sandwiches. Pizzas are great, fries were okay. I would definitely eat here again the next time the family comes into town. I do wish they offered some options for people with dairy restrictions like maybe a substitute for the cheese on pizza, that's something we're missing in the area in general but you can get a tomato pie which is what we did and just added some stuff at home. Mediocre. The only respectable options around this area are American, pizza and Italian. How do you mess that up.

The food is okay and the staff is friendly. The restaurant also looks very clean and nicely lit during the day. The pizza is nice and thin, causing the crust to snap when you fold it (as it should be eaten) and there is a very good amount of cheese on it. However, the sauce tastes exactly like Campbell's tomato soup, and I can't get over that. The cheese fries are also quite disgusting. The cheese is very fake tasting and the fries seem like they're pulled out when they're acceptable to be eaten. They're underdone and honestly taste like greasy potatoes. The more I ate the cheese fries, the more I hated them. The zeppoles look wonderful but are little grease bombs, don't bother eating them. They're oilier than my skin when I was in middle school. Honestly this place is a fast food pizza joint. It's good if you're starving but if you want quality go somewhere else. read more

As a fellow pizza lover I have found there is nothing in this country that comes close to east coast pizza. Vinny's is no exception, the pizza by the slice is absolutely to die for. Between the crust, the sauce and whatever topping you want this is where it is at. With so many places to choose from in this area it makes choosing very hard. We ate at Vinnys #1 earlier in the week and #2 just happened to be a bit closer to us at the time. The locations are in perfect sync with how their pizzas taste and the overall experience. The tomato pie is my favorite, no cheese just sauce and tomato. The sauce is savory, sweet and mouth watering. I'll miss pizza until I come back east, California just can't deliver on the quality. Love the Vinnys on Broad but stopped at this one (on 309) for couple slices and the pizza tasted like axe body spray or cleaning detergent. Wings were absolutely terrible, burnt, with no sauce. And of course, I got Blue Cheese on the side instead of Ranch, even though I specified. Thin crust pizza with a nice sauce to cheese ratio and a variety of toppings options. I personally love the fresh tomatoes and sweet peppers. They also have quality hoagies, cheese fries and salads. Ordered from them twice via GH. That means they get a clear, written order on their screen, and we have a record of what was ordered. First time, they forget to deliver an item, and have to go back for it. Second time, it takes forever to arrive, and the order's wrong again. Mozzarella sticks are burnt; the outside is dark brown and the cheese inside has hardened to the breading. Chicken fingers, which were supposed to be mild buffalo chicken fingers, are plain chicken and also burnt. In addition to being the wrong item entirely, they come with no sauce to dip in (neither the blue cheese you'd expect with buffalo fingers, or the honey mustard or at least ketchup you'd expect with a chicken finger platter).
