I hosted my bridal shower yesterday at Vault Brewing Co. If you're looking for a reliable, reasonable and beautiful venue to host an event, look no further. From early conversations with the event manager to the way the entire staff treated me yesterday on-site, Vault's customer service is unmatched. I'd been exchanging emails with Sarah (the event manager) since February to ensure the space was the right fit. Sarah answered all my questions, responded to me in a timely manner, provided ample time for my bridesmaids and I to set up decor and we were permitted to bring our own cake and desserts. The bartender allowed me to Airdrop my custom bridal shower playlist to an iPad that was connected to their surround sound speakers so I could play the music I intended to play. She was attentive, kind and placed purses and miscellaneous items in the back area so it wouldn't be in guest view. She cut the cake for us towards the end of the event. Truly such outstanding service. The event space is located downstairs, completely separate from the main dining area and there is a private restroom. It was a wonderful size for my guest count of 16 people. Everyone in attendance raved about the chicken nachos and the pizza. I personally loved the Wild Mushroom pizza. The food kept getting refilled as the day went on. Each item was labeled and the bar had several menus to look at. This was executed PERFECTLY. I went here with 4 other people on a Saturday evening. Surprisingly enough we were seated right away. Our waiter quickly came over and took our drink order. We all tried a different beer and everyone enjoyed them. I won't break down each plate of food but everything we had was very good. The building is an old bank and is very cool. We got here around 5:30 on a Friday. Parking is tight in Yardley but we were able to find parking across the street in a little strip mall. We were seated right away and the AC was blowing hard on us at first in the dining area to right of the main bar. Food was top notch! We ordered the pork belly fries which fingerling potatoes sliced with nice chunks of pork belly and sides sauces. One of the sauces was like a Smokey chipotle while the second was mayo based. Both packed full of flavored and complimented the potatoes. Peruvian wings had some good flavored, I would have liked them crispy but didn't know how they came. Our main pizza was the duck and apple. Great combination if you want something different. My wife ordered the octopus and ate the whole thing so I assumed it was great. We were a party of 3 that sat at the bar on a Saturday evening. For being peak time / pretty busy, the service was still prompt (at the start) and friendly! After placing our first round of drinks and one shareable app, service slowed down a bit for us to put in an order for our main dishes. You get 4 selections (5oz each) for their beer flights. We shared the pork belly fries appetizer to hold us over until our entrees came out. It had square chunks of pork belly with crispy outside edges and soft, fatty insides. For our mains - the chicken shawarma sandwich was absolutely huge! Great seasonings/flavor, and I had leftovers to take home. The Bee Sting pizza wasn't actually as spicy as you'd expect (with Calabrian hot honey and red pepper flakes) - but the flavor was still great. The only downside to the pizza was that the dough was very floppy & had zero crisp to it at the center of the pie. The pizza dough was light/fluffy/fresh though for the rest of the pie (like from the crust to the first 3-4" inward toward the center). read more

We got the charred octopus that was so extremely tender, the Peruvian wings which were meaty but could have been crispier, the pork belly fries that were delicious (2 dipping sauces, one looked more mayo based, the other looked similiar to chipotle), the duck and apple pizza which was phenomenal. Great crust and flavor was perfection. The kids meal pizza was huge for anyone getting a kids meal. The service could be better, had to ask about the kids meal and everything that came with it. The food came out timely which is always great when you have kids. We were in the room with all the low tables and the air kept kicking on and off that had big gusts which had all of us in jackets at some point. Theres a new chef, but the food is always consistent and great tasting. Some items are different takes on bar classics such as the Blue Moon Cheese nachos, but others like a classic burger are original and timeless. We frequent the Vault we absolutely love the food and neighborhood. We came in tonight before 5pm and it was so busy because of Canaloween. We waited 35 minutes I checked back in and was told another 35-40 minutes. Frustrating, but the manager came right over apologized and sat is immediately. Everyone enjoyed their beers, I had a great cider, and one of us wasn't drinking but was thrilled they had some NA cocktail options and enjoyed the Pearly Shells. Being from Jersey, I'm not used to breweries serving food, but here at Vault the food is delicious and a perfect compliment to their craft beer. We live about an hour away, but my fiancé's favorite spa occasionally brings us to Yardley. The last time we were in the area I stopped in to buy a 4 pack to drink at home. I asked the bartender for a recommendation based off of what I like and she gave me two suggestions and let me try a taste of both prior to buying. I brought the beer home to my parents and everyone enjoyed it so much we decided to make a day out of it during my fiancés next appointment. The building is an old bank, hence the name Vault, and the beers are named using bank and monetary references. The bar is small only offering 6 seats but there are a number of tables around the brewery as well. We were lucky enough to grab a high-top right next to the open kitchen so we were able to watch the cooks prepare each meal and admire each dish as it was placed in the window. Everything looked and smelled phenomenal. We started with beer of course: Of Hops And Clouds - NE style Pale Ale, Cassaforte - Italian style Pilsner, Futures Market - Hazy IPA, and a flight. We tried many of the beers offered on tap throughout the night, including Trading Futures - NEIPA, Orange Drips - Creamsicle IPA, Teller Pilsner - American Pilsner. We enjoyed everything we ordered and I truly believe there would be something for everyone here. They also are able to serve wine and liquor, another nice twist we're not used to by frequenting NJ breweries. I was shocked at how great the food was and I don't think you could go wrong with anything on this menu. We started with buffalo cauliflower which wasn't breaded and fried, but rather grilled with a beautiful char and tossed in their house-made buffalo sauce. Easily the best buffalo cauliflower I've ever had. We also had the Pork Belly fries which was fingerling potatoes sliced into fries served with perfectly crisp pork belly - another great dish especially to share. The Vault Burger patty was thick and served on a light and buttery brioche bun. The house-made Pastrami Pretzel Roll was one of the most unique sandwiches I've ever had. My fiancé joined us after she was finished at her appointment and ordered an espresso martini - which she loved - and the Wild Mushroom pizza. The crust on the pizza was light and airy but at the same time charred to a perfect crisp. We were impressed by everything we ordered to say the least. Our server, Morgan, was friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable. She gave some great recommendations and even said that most of their ingredients are locally sourced and how numerous items are made in house. I think we can all appreciate a business that doesn't cut corners when it comes to the quality of food they serve and ingredients they use. Vault not only has great beer, but an outstanding menu. Fabulous, fabulous... some of the best food we have had anywhere. Each dish was unique, plates beautifully, with such different flavors. The Cauliflower had this pickled celery around the plate which was unexpectedly amazing. A special of Charred Broccoli was divine. 8 of us shared 2 orders of the Spanish Octopus and it was a winner. The pizza's are perfectly cooked & dressed with wonderful combinations, the peach & prosciutto being my favorite, then the Duck & apple. Service was warm & attentive, food spaced out well along with drinks. Soft live music from the bar area and also live music downstairs in the bar which was a bit louder. We've been to Vault probably for 10 years. The duck and apple pizza has always been good as well as the beer. Today's experience was different. The pizza and cheesesteak were fine but the salad was extremely sub-standard. I've ordered salads before but have never received one with wilted dark spotted lettuce which wasn't even prepared just placed in a bowl. The salad was expensive and the toppings were minimal. A fair amount of cheese for an appetizer but this was an entree. Apple was almost non existent and there were 5 pieces of thin sliced kumquat. Our waiter was distracted and unengaged. Didn't bother to ask me why I had to put most of my lettuce on a separate plate and left it uneaten. I would come for a beer but I'm not sure I would choose to dine at Vault. read more

My one knock is that because they have a lot of staples that stay on tap and in cans for a while, they don't seem to rotate what's available beyond seasonally. Although the Peach sour I started with last night was very good. They have a lot of great beers though, and their "Fat Tail" stout and the one similar to it are our favorites. They have changed their menu up again recently and it's great. I just have 2 nitpicks: 1) The "Bee Sting" pizza was not spicy--the hot honey was drowned out by something or had been completely absorbed, which is a shame. 2) The Octopus appetizer really needs to be on a smaller plate for the portion. We stopped here after the halloween drive i'm down the street. My friends are all big brew heads. This atmosphere they have here is unique. Everyone had a great time and the drink menu was more extensive than other breweries as they could also serve liquor. I really liked my drink and they had holiday drinks as well. We went to Vault earlier this evening. We learned that Yelp really doesn't take waitlist seating even though we received a text saying we were on the waitlist. Thankfully our hostesses took great care of us and got us seating and our sever was wonderful. The food was great and we enjoyed being at the Vault. This was the cutest brewery in the cutest town! Was staying near Trenton for a week, and found this cute place right after talking a walk down the canal and we were super impressed! The downtown area here was so cute and we loved it, a short drive from the downtown area where we were staying. Hinted at in the name, this brewery is in an old bank. Sitting outside, I noticed across the street there were businesses in an old firehouse; repurposing old buildings seemed like a common theme in this town and I loved it! We walked in and it was super busy, and sadly, kind of small inside, so we knew we'd have to wait. Thankfully they let us grab a drink from the bar and sit outside while we waited, so we didn't mind waiting a bit. After 20 minutes or so we were seated right next to the vault! I ordered the brown sugar Buffalo pizza and my friend ordered the waffle grilled cheese. The pizza sounded weird - brown sugar on pizza? But all the flavors mixed together perfectly and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. My friend also loved her grilled cheese. The beers I had were good, but tasted pretty much like most other IPAs I've had. There weren't many distinct flavor profiles I picked up. I was excited to try a blueberry IPA they had, but I didn't taste much blueberry at all. They also had a fridge full of 4-packs to go which was nice! We are always excited to visit Vault Brewing - their food is so good that sometimes we forget it's actually a brewery with great beer! The Brown Sugar Buffalo pizza consists of the house hot sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto and brown sugar (pictured). While these ingredients may sound unconventional, what you get is a whole mouthful of flavors that burst when mixed together. Another time when I went with a group of friends, all 6 of us ordered this same pizza! And it's impossible to share because you NEED to take any leftovers home to eat the next day!
