The Borough Pub is a good place to have a meal with the family, an event for a large group or sitting at the bar watching sports with a beer and your pals. Parking is either found in their private lot or on the streets nearby. There is plenty of seating either in the dining area or at the large rectangular bar. The menu has apps, sandwiches, flatbreads, wings, soups, salads, burgers and a half dozen or so classic entrées to go along with some specials. I've had a burger which was just ok, nothing special and delicious Bang Bang Chicken Sliders. On both visits the house chips were stale and boring. Tap list has around 13 craft beers plus your regular macros. If you're a cocktail fan they have a dozen or so house creations. Service on both visits was great. Called in a take out order. On the phone they said 20 minutes, so we took our time and arrived around 35 mins after we phoned it in, as to not be stuck waiting. I paid for the order, tipped and then waited ... Waitresses and managers walked past me for about 25 minutes before i finally asked why my food wasnt ready, when i had called it in over 50 mins prior. The manager whispers "We dont know what happened to your order, so we are remaking it". Instead of simply telling me that, so i could have gone to the car and waited, they decided to just keep walking back and fourth for that entire time. Finally, they decided that me standing there for over 30 minutes on a 105 dollar order, was worth 25 dollar gift card. I demanded a full refund, and walked the hell out. Place is a joke. read more

Our first visit, and we will definitely come back. Instantly greeted upon entering. Large, clean and bright dining room with a bar off to the side. Was not noisy at all! Waitress immediately came to table and was so friendly. We got the Chicken Parmigiana and Country Fried Chicken entrees. They came with soup or salad. We each had one of each. The salad was fresh, the soup was definitely homemade and creamy (chicken corn chowder). We also got Pretzel Fries as an appetizer. They came with mustard. A beer cheese might be taster. A lot of free parking spaces. I parked in a fairly lit parking lot directly next door which was great. The bar is on a quiet street. I only had a few drinks which was very fair in pricing & cup size. A whiskey & ginger ale was only four dollars which is great compared to the ten dollar drink pricing at other bars. Music was also mixed which I didn't expect but appreciated. A mix of rap/pop. Smoking isn't allowed inside the bar but a smoking area is on the side of the bar (you can reach that area thru the inside you don't have to walk outside & walk around) it's outside seating as well. The Borough Pub on Farragut Avenue, Bristol, PA, is a pleasant joint to stop for a beer or two, and a light bite if hungry. Although it is located on a fairly forlorn stretch of old Bristol Borough, the inside is a cozy knotty pine paneled long room with rectangular bar up front, and dining room/kitchen farther back. Prices are appropriate for the neighborhood, and there is a decent brewlist for those who enjoy a long draught of pilsner. They currently have a Yelp check in bonus of a domestic draft (not a crafty). I had a light beer with my meal. Son and I stopped in for dinner recently for the first time, and were impressed. The space was well maintained, the staff friendly, chatty and accommodating; and the kitchen better than expected. I went with a small bowl of French Onion Soup and their "Pubrogies," a version of the popular Polish dough pockets stuffed with mashed potatoes, and covered in a nice mix of sautéed onions, green peppers and jalapeno, with a large dollop of sour cream on top of it all. Son with younger and larger appetite, ordered the Cheesesteak Spring Rolls and Honey Chipotle Pulled Pork (Chipotle sauced shredded pork with melted pepper jack, on a jalapeno cheddar brioche bun). Everything was good to nearly great. The soup, perhaps the weakest link, had the right savoriness, but lacked the crusty bread and load of wine soaked onions of the original recipe from Les Halles. The "rogies," were tasty with a nice kick from the hot pepper, and balanced well against the inner mashed. The spring rolls were larger than anticipated, crisp and crammed with beef, cheese, onions and peppers. A kicky ketchup came along for the ride for dipping. The pulled pork was devoured by son (didn't offer me a bite) - always an indication that he was enthralled and unwilling to share. Glad he liked it so much. Our server, Dawn, had a great attitude. Around just enough to keep everything refilled and moving, with a sense of humor and bonhomie. Borough Pub is a place to relax, sip and chew in an atmosphere that is both family and sporty. First time here...came for happy hour and ordered a coconut margarita which was so refreshing! When I first arrived, the bartender could only make me one margarita bc they ran out of coconut milk, so the manger actually went to the store to go buy coconut milk so that I could order more!!!!! Because we only live a few miles away my husband and I decided to try it. I am I glad we did! Everything has been amazing! My fiance and I love this spot. She is from the area and takes me whenever we are in town. The food is fairly priced and delicious! I haven't had one thing on the menu that I didnt like! We always start out with the buffalo egg rolls which are probably some of the best I have had eating out at restaurants! Then I got the honey Chipotle pulled pork which the waitress sold me on. They make their pulled pork in house and it is delicious. I also washed this all down with a flight that only cost me $6. Awesome food awesome service! We had crab cakes. Bacon wrapped shrimp.cheese steak egg rolls. Crab cakes were broiled and drizzled with a very tasty sauce. I so badly wanted to eat my husbands portion. He said they are too good to even give me a bite! Bacon wrapped shrimp were very good. Sauce for dipping was nice and smoky. I've ordered take out from the Borough Pub a few times. Tonight I actually walked inside to pick up my food and was very surprised at how big it is in there. Looks really nice. Staff are friendly. I ordered the pork sandwich and crab fries. The roll and sandwich was really good. The roll was nice and toasted so it was soggy and gross by the time I got home. First and foremost, we ordered uber eats so I can't speak to atmosphere of the place. We do this specifically to see if the establishment can accommodate this type of service. We ordered four items: Bavarian pretzel, cheese steak egg rolls, crispy chicken wrap, and a veggie and goat cheese flat bread. The pretzel was super disappointing. When I think of Bavarian pretzel, I think of a piping hot, huge pretzel. These looked like frozen pretzels you get in bulk at Costco. They were actually very hard in the middle. Was hard to pull apart. Probably the most disappointing if it all. Next the cheese steak egg rolls. These were okay. Again they weren't even really warm. The crispy chicken wrap, was also okay. The it was kinda sloppy, and didn't have much dressing on it, which was disappointing because I really was looking forward to jalapeño ranch. Homemade chips had good taste, but seemed soggy. Lastly, the flatbread wasn't great. Looked very good but It was legitimately cold. Not hot, not warm, ...cold. When you get a delivery type service you shouldn't have to reheat your meal before you take a bite. All in all, the food was overall disappointing with some hints of tasty at times. We understand and consider the delivery/uber eats fact but the whole order was finished and delivered within about 35 minutes, so I find it hard to believe that this was the fault of the uber eats driver. read more

Came here for Truman Rams wrestling fundraiser. We haven't been here since it was Charlie Karp's. Hubby had the crab cakes entree and I had the small plate chicken quesadilla. He said they were light & tasty with plenty of crab meat. The mashed potatoes were REAL POTATOES! The mixed veggies were scrumptious, I ate them!
